Though I have not…read moreutilized their services as therapists (and hear many good things), they have been a pleasure to work with in setting up a recurring weekly play event for some of the local children (ages 1-3) during the winter months. As many local parents know, there are shockingly few options for indoor activities in our neighborhood within walking distance that are also budget friendly. Big Stride has been our answer! A cozy setting (10 children with one parent or guardian each is really the maximum), there are stimulating toys, gym equipment, a mini trampoline and a small ball pit available to keep little toddlers happily occupied for an hour and a half in these chilly months. Though they are located on the lower level and there is no ramp for strollers (there is a mechanical ramp but it is for disabled access only), there is always someone at the front desk available to help us with making it safely down or up the steps. They are warm and friendly and very helpful. As I said, I cannot speak from personal experience about the therapy services, but their customer service and facility for our play event has been top notch! Check them out!

After 2 weeks in the hospital and 6 weeks in rehab, I was no weight bearing for a while and so this is my attempt at learning to walk again and regaining mobility. My insurance Emblem/ GHI was accepted so I have only a co-pay of $20. The facility is convenient, clean and well staff with a wide range of equipment to service your needs. Katrina, Neil and Anna are amazing. They have been very keen to my needs and the therapeutic practices that would best support my healing journey. The appointments have been honored in a timely manner and I am pleased with the changes in mobility that I've seen. My hope is that over the 16 sessions I'll be able to transition from walker to cane and be fully mobile independently.

Convenient location as far as subways go and there is some street parking and garages close by…read more Getting an appointment here is pretty difficult initially but once you do you can discuss schedules directly with your therapist. The therapy itself and the therapist were all very nice and pretty knowledgeable. The admin side not so much. Unfortunately there were a few issues with paperwork that did delay and interrupt the rehab process. If I had to do physical therapy again I'm not sure I would return due to that mistake. I would only consider it because of the therapists.

Kenn is kind, warm, compassionate, and professional. i've never not felt comfortable in his presence. his work is powerful, deep, and lasting. if you're looking for real body work and DEEP tissue, look no further. he is the BEST of the best. i have searched all over the world for someone like him and have yet to find anyone who has even 1/8th of his talent and skill. while his work is deep, he works in layers ; slowly going deeper, collaborating with your body, feeling out when you're most ready for his deepest work. he can break up scar tissue, manipulate muscles, and separate entangled fascia. i moved to LA 3 years ago. i have since developed several auto immune diseases. i am in NY about 4-5 times a year still for work and Kenn is the FIRST thing i schedule every single time. because of my illness', my pain is constant. the other day my rheumatologist asked me, "is there anything that makes the pain better ?" my answer was, "yes.
