What's more, they called to cancel my first appointment with no explanation. When I finally arrived for my rescheduled one, I was given redundant paper and iPad forms to fill out. I then had to compete with three other waiting patients for a chair in the waiting area (there are only two). My PT seemed friendly but she totally misdiagnosed my injury and did not help me feel better.

He has a language d/o, auditory processing d/o, ADD, social pragmatic communication d/o, and a reading d/o. Christine helped my son improved in every area. She worked on his executive function, pragmatics, and reading issues. In the 5th grade, my son had a grade level of 1.8 in reading comprehension and a grade level of 3.4 in Math problem solving on WISC-V. After working with Christine for 1.5 yr, his reading score was in low average decoding and fluency range, and average Math problem solving on the Woodcock-Johnson achievement test. BOE considers low average as average. On Terra Nova test, his Reading was in the 73%, and in Language 66% from 18% (low average 25% to high average 75%). My son is a now a social butterfly!! This is a "PT mill" where I was injured (rather seriously) by two PTs at this location. The Spear…read morePTs are guided by the Spear-branded algorithms and apps rather than having the in-depth knowledge of bodies, injuries, personal history and anatomy of the person being treated. The PTs were very nice people, but watch out if you are older than a 20-something and have an actual physical/medical/rehabilitative issue rather than a superficial sports injury. Unfortunately the field has been over-run by these PT mills catering to sports injuries, rather than actual rehabilitative physical therapy. I've had to see several doctors, an orthopedic surgeon and am now seeing a real PT. The only positive thing I can say is that space is nice, and all the PTs are hip and smile a lot when they are not looking at their phone or computer.
