Began therapy in late July. I couldn't walk the dog, or climb stairs. Had to sit when shaving or brushing my teeth. I now walk around Charles park. No trouble walking when strolling or shopping. I thank all those who took care of me. Very professional and caring. read more

I usually do physical therapy in Wyckoff Heights Hospital, but I wanted a place close to home. I found Beach NY, and now I'll never go back to Wyckoff, not saying it was a bad place to go to. The girls (Christine and Gabby) are so nice and chat with you while you're doing your scretches. The doctors are nice and come around to make sure the patients are doing well. The massage at the end of the stretches is my favorite. read more

I had a wonderful experience at Rockaway Beach Physical Therapy. The staff, Erica, Jamie, Niamh and Nick were all attentive to my specific needs and truly invested in my recovery. They took the time to create a personalized plan that helped me increase the range of motion in my knee after a knee replacement. Niamh gave me exercises that targeted my areas of concern. Nick showed me effective exercises that I continue to do at home. The assistants Christine and Johnathan work very hard to make sure you are not waiting to do your next exercise. The front desk works with your doctor to make sure your prescriptions for therapy are in on time. They are the best! read more

I came for PT after a meniscus repair surgery. The quality of care I received was excellent. The whole office from was always kind and helpful. From the receptionist when you walk in to all the therapist( really everyone in the office!). The Office was always on time and taking care of all their patience. read more

My therapist John has helped me so much with my knees, the most magical hands and he always gets me to laugh as I do my exercises. I love the aquatic treadmill, it has helped me walk better, and then even helped me to jump and dance in the water! read more

I cannot say enough about this business. I just finished up my physical therapy after almost 4 months after a total knee replacement. The entire staff there from the front desk, the assistants and especially the therapist. I personally had Nick as my therapist and he was amazing. After a few weeks my progress came to a halt under normal therapy. O had developed scar tissue. The debate was to do 1 of 2 procedures to break it up . Nick and I decided to go another route and even though pain was excruciating we broke it up the good old fashioned way with very aggressive therapy. He saved me from an additional procedure. On the end we got to where we needed to be. He was the only therapist that worked on me personally but after almost 4 months I got to know the other therapist and patients. I didn't hear any other patients have a negative thing to say . Every one seemed to always be happy with their therapy . To sum it up or you should unfortunately need physical therapy this should be your first and only place to go too . You won't regret it . read more

They greet you like family. Kinda like a second home. Johnny is my regular therapist and has helped me stay ambulatory. Anna and Rochelle have filled in, in his absence and also know their stuff. The girls in the front are always courteous. I feel the need to express my concern over another review I read. Yes. We are all entitled to our opinions when writing a review. But to note that they all speak a certain language I don't personally feel affects the rating of the quality of service and medical skills. This is New York City. The Chinese speak Chinese. The Hispanic peoples speak Spanish. And those of the Philippines also speak their native tongue. And that's that. And, as a proud New Yorker, until the day if GOD deems it right that the earth all speak one language again, I would have it no other way. Whatever kind of problems you people are suffering from, I urge you to AVOID this place at all cost and find a better place to go. First, the "THERAPISTS" are always speaking in their mother tongue which is "FILIPINO LANGUAGE." Second, they even make fun of patients disabilities, accents, etc. Third, their behavior, attitude, and personality is just "SIMPLY TRASH." Remember when you walk out that door, they are laughing their socks off and talking behind your back. And basically you are paying them money for treatment to get better right, and Not to make fun of your problems or disabilities, correct? Well, this place is quite the opposite. They will take your money and taunt you simultaneously. So I hope, you people will make the RIGHT & the BEST DECISIONS for yourself by avoiding this rubbish place!!! Don't regret and repent like i did.

Between the PTs Nick, Niamh, Gil, the PTAs Jamie, Erica, the aids Gabby, Christine, Megan, Jon and the receptionist Michelle and Lauren; you have the most knowledgeable, talented, friendly, and enjoyable staff in the field. I come here to receive the best care and have fun while I'm doing it. I'm currently receiving care for my meniscus injury, under the care of Jamie Durso, who is amazing with the mericle hands and is genuinely skilled and invested in the craft thank you. I have been going to Beach Therapy for six months twice a week for detached rotator cuff. The quality of care here has been phenomenal. The therapist and therapist aide have been so attentive for the full hour and a half that I am here. Nick has been my therapist and he has done an extraordinary job and helping me get stronger that I am now able to use my left shoulder 100% better. Christina and Gabby Have been so attentive and caring, and always a smile on their faces. The front desk people are so sweet and cooperative. Beach Therapy is super clean end. It has been a pleasure coming here. I go there twice a week and I have never missed a visit. I have made friends here and I just love this place and would recommend anyone who has a physical handicap to go to Beach Therapy. Love this PT facility! Everyone is very professional, and helpful. From the front desk, the interns to the therapists! The therapists are very caring, and knowledgeable. They explain clearly why you are in pain and how the therapy will help. No one LIKES physical therapy but the staff here make it bearable! I was worried about parking, the on site is limited, but there is street parking! Thanks everyone!!! read more

I rehabbed from an aneurysm that greatly affected my balance. The team made me comfortable and confident in their abilities to get me back to normal as possible. I looked forward to working with them weekly. My MD was also impressed with my progress. I went from wheelchair to walker to cane. This is my second time with them as I had a setback in my condition. Staff is very knowledgeable on all exercises and each therapist have their own of how they're doing their routine. As soon as you work into their facility you are welcome by the staff. I had full knee replacement. The staff gets me started with my therapy ASAP They are very tentative in showing me the exercises I need to strengthen my knee.This is my second knee replacement.
