When the owner finally attempted to fix my nail, she actually made it worse. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, she became visibly frustrated, abruptly walked away from the table, and said she couldn't do it. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. She later returned and told me someone else would help me, but only after I had already waited an additional 20 minutes. I calmly explained that it wasn't professional to speak to a customer that way and that if she wasn't able to fix my nail, she shouldn't have attempted it in the first place. Rather than handling the situation professionally, she raised her voice and yelled at me in front of everyone in the salon. No customer deserves to be treated that way. Mistakes happen, and I understand that not every service goes perfectly. However, the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. The level of disrespect and lack of professionalism from the owner was shocking, and because of that experience, I will not be returning.

I paid an arm and a leg for the services and i felt like the quality could have been better. First off, for my pedicure I wanted to get a white sparkly polish for my toes and chose it from the book... no one warned me that they put a white coat under the samples in the book, so the polish came out a very sheer grey and not at all like the book showed. The lady doing my pedicure was nice and the calf and foot treatments were good, plus there was a massage chair. As for my finger nails, the person doing my nails was not all that friendly, he handled my hands pretty roughly, demanded that i leave my nails as long as he had them (which ended up looking good but some more explanation would have been nice), and would lightly hit each finger with the nail file when he wanted me to put it down, which i felt came off a little rude. I was also disappointed by the fact that there was multiple parts of the nails that were missing polish (like the very top and sides) and he left a large build up of some sort of acrylic powder or something underneath the nail which really bothered me. I would have gone back in and asked for it to get fixed but unfortunately i did it the day before my wedding and didn't have time to go back and fix it. I am a big believer in "you get what you pay for" and i think if my total had been lower i wouldn't have been so frustrated, but because it was SO pricey, i think the attention to detail and service should have been better.

I hadn't treated myself to a manicure or pedicure in over two months due to being out of work. I was in such a happy mood because my son had just achieved a major milestone, so I was really looking forward to some self-care. The first day I came in for a manicure, the technician who worked on me was impatient, unfriendly, and rude. I brushed it off, assuming she was having a bad day. I returned the next day for a pedicure, hoping for a better experience. When I greeted the same technician, she ignored me while looking right at me. Another technician did my pedicure, but throughout my appointment, the first technician repeatedly stared at me. At one point she had her phone pointed in my direction. Later she pointed toward me while talking with another technician and they laughed while looking at her phone. She noticed I was wondering why, and she said something about her never wearing a bikini on a beach and said it was a photo of a woman on the beach wearing a bikini. Whether it was about me or not, it certainly felt that way, and it made me extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious. I even caught her staring at me with what felt like a hostile expression afterward. The manicure and pedicure themselves were well done, and I still tipped generously because that's what I always do. However, no client should leave feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable. A salon should be a place where people can relax, not wonder if they're being laughed at. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. I hope management takes customer service and professionalism as seriously as the quality of their work.
