We arrived just as the luncheon hour was in full swing; however, the waitstaff seated us after only a few minutes and we were shown to a booth in the main dining room. The atmosphere is very lively and chatty; the restaurant appeared to be quite full but there was a wonderful 'warmth' about the place and the cooking smelled terrific. Our waitress brought menus immediately and took our drink orders; she was polite, courteous, and efficient. It was very clear our waitress was very busy; HOWEVER this did not in any way diminish her service and/or her attention. SHE WAS TERRIFIC. Our orders arrived VERY quickly and were hot and fresh; I ordered a chorizo skillet and it was delicious. The rye toast was loaded with butter and they brought freshly portioned fruit jelly for us, and not those horrible pr-packaged plastic globs. The waitress kept my coffee filled and my clients' drinks filled as well; she took very good care of us and never once made us feel rushed. I loved the matcha flight, honestly the vanilla matcha as basic as that sounds was my absolute favorite but I cannot wait to try the chai flight! For breakfast I got the caprese sandwich and my husband got the breakfast burrito and we split it. Both were great, the caprese sandwich was delish! I keep thinking to myself I need to try to make that for breakfast now because it was that good! And for our sweet treat dessert we got the carrot cake whoopie. It was good but it felt like there was too much cake to the filling ratio, I almost feel like it needed to be half the amount of cake. Overall a great experience! Busy place on a Sunday morning…read more There were three of us in our party. All of our dishes were big portions, served hot and were delicious. I'm an egg, bacon and sourdough toast with hot coffee gal. My order was perfect and I enjoyed the endless coffee refills. The rest of my table enjoyed a skillet, big fluffy pancakes and crepes loaded with fruit, whipped cream and syrup - portions so big they needed a to go container. Servers and staff very friendly.

It is an attractive space with lots of varnished wood. We were here late morning and there was a decent crowed. I had a stack of pancakes and my wife had a Scrambler. My pancakes were very good, and her Scrambler was great. I love the smashed potatoes at the bottom of the bowl. Prices are reasonable and service is very friendly. The patrons are all very nice. I bumped into a buddy there, and some woman gave my wife a homemade cookie that was delicious! Can't wait for our next visit!

I have had gluten free bread that tastes almost like regular bread, but it is never as moist as regular bread. Their sourdough tastes every bit as good as regular sourdough. They even sell the individual loaves. The service has been excellent every time I have been there. The sourdough bread and the brisket will keep me coming back.

Pasta was done perfectly just like I ordered it ("Al Dente") and the sauce was made just right, not too sharp or sweet, and unlike some places that I have been to over the years, you could tell that it was made fresh and not just something from a jar, and definitely not somewhat watery. Definitely a place worth going to again. Service was also very friendly and helpful and the cost was very reasonable.
