I purchased a prepaid package of 12 massages for $986 tips included and received only one session and the day after I had the massage I had to have an emergency appendectomy with serious post surgery complications. My doctor advised me not to drive or receive massage treatments. I sent the owner the doctor's note as soon as I was discharged from the hospital. Despite knowing about my medical condition , the owner scheduled ten appointments unilaterally without checking my availability. She also stated in email that she will not honor any service after September. When I explained to her that I still experienced a lot of pain and not able to drive. She wrote in her email that "Under no circumstances, there will be any service rendered after September"-- I had no other option but to cancel and asked for refund. She refused any refund. I end up at ER the second time 4 days after the email was sent to me. I was treated for post surgery complications. I was not cleared to drive until October. Given these documented medical circumstances, I believe this business acted without compassion or fairness. Keeping nearly $900 for services that were never provided --and refusing to accommodate a genuine medical emergency --completely unacceptable, unfair and unethical given the well documented medical situation. I was retaining an excessive amount of fluid and I knew it was time to get a lymphatic drainage massage. Oddly there aren't that many people in the area that specialize in that so I was glad to find QueenPro. The scheduling process was super smooth. A few clicks and bam, I was scheduled. Reina took extra care of me as I'm pregnant. Since my first visit, I've seen her a handful of times to handle lymphatic drainage and prenatal massage. Her level of attentiveness and compassion is next level. She is always friendly, warm, and welcoming. The therapy space is inviting and clean. Tons of parking so I don't have to waddle very far. She's also given me some great advice to manage my swelling and pregnancy-related carpal tunnel (that even my OB hasn't offered). I told my OB that I'm getting prenatal massages and they agreed that I'm doing the right thing for self-care. I can't even begin to tell you how much better this pregnancy has been compared to my previous ones where I wasn't able to get prenatal massages.
