The lobby was pretty small and quaint. The staff was extremely friend and professional. The treatment room was nice and spacious. As someone who suffers from chronic neck pain, I really need someone who can get in the muscle deep. So when I say I need a deep tissue massage, I mean I need DEEP. Most of the time, I have to direct my masseuse what to focus on and what I need in terms of pressure and most of the time they listen. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I was paired up with a female masseuse who was sweet enough in manner but didn't seem to speak much English so when I asked her to only focus on my neck or when I kept asking for deeper pressure, she was respond in agreement but then would proceed to continue doing what I asked her not to do. I specifically asked her to only focus on my upper back/neck area and not to do my whole body. She did work on my upper area but then proceeded to do the rest of my body when I asked her not to. I know they are trained to do full body massages but the purpose of getting a massage for a lot folks is to get some relief from pain or tight muscles with specific attention to problem areas. If I'm going to pay an inordinate amount of money for an hour massage, I'd rather not have it wasted on parts of my body I don't need worked on. Needless to say, I realized I can't get what I really need here, so while I appreciated the good service overall, I will continue my journey for a great masseuse elsewhere.

I was given an outfit to change into (you're fully clothed during the Thai massage) and it was soft and very comfortable! I had an "idea" of what a Thai massage was so I wasn't blindsided when I walked into the room and saw the pallet; that the massage was to take place on, on the floor. This type of massage doesn't take place on the typical massage table. The whole vibe of the room was a mix of a relaxing spa and HEAVEN! My therapist came into the room and the magic started!! While stretching my body, she found knots on my body that I didn't even know I had! She contorted my body in ways I didn't know it w could bend! She then got a walker and began walking on my back...my legs...my feet, my arms...my hands...you get it! The only place she didn't walk on was my head (they offer a separate massage especially for your head and I plan on checking it out as well)!! The head massage is called an "Indian head" massage . My body is usually riddled with constant pain (especially my hips and legs). Can you imagine my excitement when I got up from the floor and there was not a pain in my body to be found?!!! I got the massage on May 12th and to this day the pain has not returned (it is May 19th)!!! I have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, and she really took the time to work them out. I generally got a blend of deep tissue, relaxing and hot stone techniques. As this is a small company, I really appreciated the personal touches I got. Sadly I moved to Rockville so don't go anymore :( I've been to about 5 different places in the area, and all of them leave me wishing they were as good as this place.
