We have used cleaning services before and this one by far is a gem. I wanted to write this review to sing her praises and at the same time, didnt want to share what we found. . This cleaning service is hard working and they go above and beyond expectations. My daughters room was a mess, but when they finished with it, it looked like we had just moved in. I deal with a lot of depression, ADHD, and anxiety. This makes things like keeping a tidy home completely overwhelming. So, instead of taking care of the problem, I let it get worse. The worse it got, the more depressed I became. I explained all of this to her, and she listened like a friend instead of someone I had hired to clean my apartment. She was completely empathetic and non-judgmental. She was also very straightforward yet tactful about what needed to get done. At one point, I thought I had to reschedule because I had an appointment and I didn't know what to do about my dog. Brea told me not to worry, she was very good with pets, and she had experience because she had a boxer at home. Penelope approved of her right away, and Brea's energy made me feel comfortable leaving my dog with her. She worked for hours and it showed. My apartment was sparkling and it smelled incredible! I love my dog, but she has some aromas that I absolutely do not love. I had asked Brea to add floor polishing and sofa cleaning to my package which I already felt was well priced for everything she was planning to do. I don't know how she did it, but she managed to remove all of Penelope's fur, and my floors were absolutely gleaming. Not only that, she had cleaned every single baseboard and my ceiling fans until they were unrecognizable. Brea left me with more than just a clean home. She left me with a fresh slate. It's much easier to maintain a clean home than it is to clean a messy one. I find myself fastidiously, wiping every surface the moment a crumb falls. I plan to hire her to help me maintain the level of clean she achieved. I figure that the cost of the cleaning will be worth the peace of mind it gives me. At first we thought she would listen to the response, maybe the floor in the bathrooms had to be skipped because she is responsible for the cleaning and all cleaning supplies. Can you believe she wanted to use our supplies and cleaning equipment! How do I tell this cleaner she's no good without upsetting her feelings? Well, we certainly did not say to her, 'you are no good'. We explained to her that her standards of cleaning did not meet up completely with our expectations. We gave her the benefit of the doubt; the option of allowing her to 'train' with our employees in a way we want things done or giving up the job. She made us out to be the 'bad guy'. She chose to allow us to train her then specify that we will keep her on for one more month on a trial basis. She did not give herself incentive to try harder, she wasn't serious about seriously cleaning for us. We are not happy with this job the cleaning service "provided." We did not want to confront her about this issue near the beginning while coming off as rude. This is the third time we talked with our cleaner. We simply nicely informed her; maybe it was possible that she is either just inadvertently overlooking these things or we weren't clear with our expectations in the beginning. Hands down a bad experience for our gym.
