Once again we are here in the island, Honolulu Pear Harbor area, and place here are good places, I happen to have a problem with my ingrown, ladies you know how that hurts. Renee, this awesome wonderful lady, I told her what was bothering me and at the same time I have both my knees are strap due to bad knees, Renee, was so gentle is moving my legs due to my knees as she proceeded to make my nails norm again, my ingrown was so deep, no lie my pain tolerance is high but I'm hurting, Renee, went to work, gently patiently and thoroughly, she got all of them out what a big relief I have. Read on for a long review. If not, basically don't go here .. they have 2.5 for a reason. I needed to get my powder/acylic nails taken off for a doctors appointment. I could spend some time taking them off myself but I was too lazy. I let them grow out as long as I could till they started lifting at the base. My regular salon was booked so I went to Queen nails. This girl proceeds to just pry them off. Every which way she can. I could have done that shit myself if I wanted to fuck up my own nails. But whatever I just want um off. On the 4th nail, my real nail rips off down to the skin. No blood but the shit is raw. So now she decides to do it the right way. Acetone soak with the foil, dremels down, carefully chips away at the rest. Once they're off, she files and buffs the raggedness down. I had to ASK for just a coat of clear polish. And that was it. Nothing to remedy the nail rip, not even some cuticle oil. I left there with dry ass finger nubs and one that needs a band aid. I don't blame her. Maybe she wasn't trained correctly? Maybe they're told to cut corners? But damn, Queen Nails, step your fkn game up. No wonder you only had 3 customers and have a 2.5 rating. While we're here you can atleast put on some music or turn up the tv to cover up talking shit about your customers. The vibe was awkward af. read more

First of all, the nail technician was a male. That's not an issue. What is an issue is that he was visibly gross... Both his thumb nails were long and FILLED with black gunk. Both his thumb nails were black and brown like he hasn't washed his hands after who knows what he did... His pinkies were also long but not as dirty as his thumb nails... I felt so uncomfortable and gross. Can you at least clean/wash your hands before handling someone else's nails? No thank you for me. read more

Their gel selections are great as are there services so I'm sorry people didn't have good service! I always get the gel and the deluxe and it lasts me sometimes 6-8 weeks meaning it looks new! I was in the dryer for my pedicure and sometime from leaving the pedicure chair to the dryer my big toe on my right foot was messed up. Soon as I notified the guy, he got mad asking "WHY??!!" and then was huffing and puffing all kinds. I told him "If you are angry no need to fix it" because I didn't want him to be angry and possibly mistreat my foot lol. Well he was all kind angry while telling me to sit down in such an angry tone and pulling my feet all hard for me to hurry up and sit. My first red flag should've been when I walked in and asked for pedicure and he was kind of rude to begin with, and again making a show about it--but hey, I'm not an ass and I still tipped even if it wasn't much. I would rate zero if I could. I came in Thursday morning, they have just opened. I walked in and everyone pretty much had the look on their face as if they didn't want me there. One of the lady asked what I needed. I said full set mani. She said, "go over there" but when I went to the other lady's chair, they started speaking in foreign, and the lady called me back. They all started chattering. Both ladies that removed my acrylics were aggressive. I've never felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable in a nail shop. This is my first time trying out a different shop than my usual nail shop in Ka Makana and definitely disappointed. The girl that did my nails totally rushed it. Messy job. Don't waste your time and money. After two days, my thumb is already starting to lift. Nails were done way too thick and the nail tech wouldn't shape it to how I wanted regardless of me speaking up about it. He also didn't clean the underneath of them. I will say, they were fast and efficient and I'm posting this about 2 weeks after and my nails and pedi are still rocking tough. I have read some of the reviews on this place and most of the issues could have been avoided if the people had spoken up in the momenT. I got the pedi + deluxe packages and the woman was amazing! She was so kind, so gentle, and she was very attentive to my calloused feet! I had a really great experience and it saddens me to hear people didn't enjoy theirs. Their COVID standards are also high, so they have a protective sheet between you and them at each pedi station. Cheapest good pedicure around. The massage chairs are great! The chairs do an awesome job! Depends who you're working with greatly depends on how good of a foot/leg massage you receive. I prefer the guys the girls do too light of a massage, it feels weird and ticklish lol The price is awesome less than $20 with tax for basic pedi. They don't bombard you with other specials either which I fine nice to not be hassled for more services. Service is quick, my visits been about a half hour or so. My normal nail salon and go to girl was booked today. I normally plan better but today I had some free time and wanted to get my nails done. I figured I could just go anywhere because I wasn't planning on getting anything fancy. I just wanted a standard gel manicure and since my 3 year old daughter was with me I could get her nails painted too. There is a ton of free parking right in front of the entrance so that's a plus. Due to coco if they are taking precautions to keep everyone safe. There is plastic partitions everywhere. When you walk in they ask you to use hand sanitizer and they take your temperature. We were seated right away. While I soaked off my old gel the tech tended to my daughter. Her nail polish was only $5 so that was great! My gel manicure was $30 and it was as basic as you can get. My favorite part of the manicure is the hand massage. Which I barely got. What I actually got was a quick 20 second rub just to get the lotion to absorb in my skin. The paint on my nails were so uneven. This was just polish so I expected a lot more than what I walked out of the salon with. 90% of my nails are completely uneven. I can feel it when I rub them. I also had paint on my skin. Prices were cheap and I guess you get what you pay for. She was nice to my daughter tho and she was happy so that's why I gave 2 stars. Likely will not return, I will just plan better to go to my go to salon! read more

They raised their prices and it's definitely NOT worth it! It started off good. My tech was very friendly; until she started to rush because her client before me text her to say she was still coming in and that she was late. Which would run into my appointment time. My acrylic nails were put on and filed crooked. She convinced me to get gel nails instead. I really didn't want to bc of the price difference. But I did it anyways thinking it probably would look nicer. Her reason to me was "it dries faster." (Yeah, just to get me out of there ASAP) At that point I was like whatever. My gel polish dried with bubbles and the acrylic was lumpy. I didn't even bother to ask her to fix it. It shouldn't have been a crappy fast job in the 1st place. Maybe my technician wasn't the greatest but, if you want to sell me something that cost more that I originally came for, I'd expect something that's worth my money.
