What a GEM! We needed a cup of coffee on our roadtrip to SF and this place was the cutest find! Service was amazing, the sweet baristas were so friendly in helping me decide what to order! I was leaning matcha so they suggested their "Earl Grey Matcha" which looked like an off-the-menu option. It was amazing!! I need to replicate this for my morning matchas. My husband got a Gibraltar which he absolutely loved as well. The coffee shop is in a rural area, across a pasture with a bunch of cows. The inside is inviting and cute with a lot of hanging plants, little lights, and a sign that says All Are Welcome. Such a wholesome little place with fantastic drinks and a kind & welcoming atmosphere! 10/10 recommend. read more

Coffee and matcha was ok, nothing to write home about but decent enough, service was a bit a less then friendly, very cold and not welcoming. First time here wasn't familiar with the menu, had a few questions which seemed to bother the lady at the register. A little kindness would have gone a long way. I mean if it was me I'd be smiling and maybe have said more then 2 word to my customers. Anyhow if beings closed off and reserved is your idea of good customer service then enjoy :) Side note: they should move the young lady in the back to the register, she was super nice! read more

I just had the most amazing cup of coffee at queen cup coffee. The Horchata coffee is one of the best choices I've had in quite a long time, the staff catered to my needs and customize my drink. Every time I come into town I will visit this place. They also have a very cool new location in los Olivos. read more

We stopped in for coffee today during our little wine tasting trip and we really enjoyed Queen's Cup. The baristas were super friendly and helpful. They educated me about the difference between a cappuccino and a flat white, which I always seem to forget. They were happy to oblige me with a sample of their drip, which was very tasty. They also highly recommended the sandwich shop next-door, which provided maybe the most amazing lunch we had ever had. (Lucky Hen Larder) They also sold a variety of breakfast burritos and in-house pastries that looked phenomenal. We will have to try those next time we are in the area. Easy seating at the bar top (there were two), inside, and outside. Ample parking! read more

Super adorable spot in a cute little old western vibe town. I always appreciate local coffee shops that actually care about how their espresso is made and where their beans come from. I got a cortado and it was made perfect. The texture was great and the milk was steamed perfectly. if you're looking for a local spot that appreciates the craft of coffee this is a good place. read more

I really enjoyed my quick morning visit to Queen Cup Coffee during my weekend in Solvang. I wish I discovered it earlier in my trip! It's such a cute little coffee shop and I love seeing all the inclusive signs. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our coffee. Their chocolate croissant was also a really nice morning snack. Update: still 5/5 stars for me! I love that with the decrease in covid, Queen Cup was able to open their doors and allow customers inside. There is seating inside and out; allowing customers to sip their coffee and relax or to just enjoy the serenity inside. Side note: go check out their bathroom for a fun surprise. I don't know what to say other than I can't believe I haven't been to this place before! Okay let's break this down: Coffee: My husband and I got iced vanilla lattes (his had almond milk and mine had oat milk). Both were divine! Delicious, creamy, not overly sweet...just right! We also got colorful straws to tell them apart and I love little details like that. Staff: I got to meet Alyce and Skyler and they are just incredible humans! Alyce was so friendly and helped us pick out what drink it get (have you seen all the five star Yelp reviews?!?!?). Skyler was just as wonderful and engaged with my four and six year old sons. Love his sense of humor with them. They were just so wonderful the whole time! Atmosphere: This place deserves a sixth star for atmosphere! Anyone and everyone is welcomed! I saw BLM and Pride support posted outside of the store. They clearly showed all employees were vaccinated (thank you!) on their front window. While the store is not open for inside seating, there are tables and chairs outside for customers to enjoy their coffee and baked goods. Across the street is an open field that is just so peaceful to look at. While we were there, two therapy miniature horses can strutting by! The cuteness overload I experienced was 10/10! I left feeling an overwhelming sense of appreciation for this place. read more

I discovered Queen Cup Coffee through Instagram and finally got around to going recently! On the day I popped by, the espresso machine happened to be down. Thankfully, I wasn't in the mood for espresso! I opted for the Butterfly pea latte. My mom had asked me to get her a Chai latte. I took both to go and brought them to my mom's office to try out with her. The lattes were really good! Flavorful and even visually pleasing. Everyone was really kind and helpful on my trip. This place was super cute and the girls working provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the coffee and chai were a miss for us. We didn't like either. I got a horchata chai and a vanilla latte, we didn't even finish them. They lacked flavor for us. We're the kind of people who like more flavor than coffee/espresso taste. Located in a small rural shopping plaza on a country road, I'm sure the locals know about this wonderfully cool coffee shop but the average tourist wouldn't have a clue unless they did a yelp search or had read a review (thanks Les S.!). The shop is small, only a couple tables inside and one outside. They offer the usual coffee drinks and a few unique ones. I ordered the dirty horchata. They make it with a horchata syrup they create in-house which is added to the espresso. It was fantastic! The cinnamon and milkiness of the horchata melded really well with the coffee. I sipped my drink while also eating a chocolate croissant. It was filled with plenty of chocolate which I thoroughly enjoyed. The croissant itself was tasty although more dense and crunchy rather than light and fluffy. But I loved every bite. As an aside, my wife had an Americano and raved about it. If you are visiting Solvang or passing through Sant Ynez, hunt this place down and visit if you enjoy a good coffee. read more

I came from out of town, I was camping at Lake Cachuma. A fellow camper recommended the place, warned me that one of the gals behind the counter was not the friendliest, she is the one who took my order, but she loved the Horchata latte. I did not try it, I'm more of a matcha person. The macho with berries was very disappointing. There were no berries in there, I assume it was a syrup, but it just tasted like a water down Matcha. Super disappointed, maybe their coffee is better. read more

Very interesting and innovative coffee drinks, especially for this area. This place seems more fitting for LA or OC area, but I'm sure it adds a nice change of pace for some of the locals in this area. Not sure if queen refers to queen bee or the rock band Queen, as it uses honey in several of its drinks but also has a drawing of Freddie Mercury by the front entrance. Honeycomb Oat Latte was tasty without being too sweet or too milky. It had a nice balance of espresso, honey, cinnamon, and oat milk. Flat White was also good, although not the best I had. Royal Butterfly is a tea based latte (no coffee) made with butterfly pea flower and milk to give it a nice pale blue color. Presentation was nice, but thought it could've used a more distinct flavor with additional ingredients. It just tasted like milk to me. I had a similar drink at Thank You Coffee in Anaheim, but it adds pandan leaves for additional flavor. It has a large parking lot that is shared with other businesses. read more

Santa Ynez desperately needed a really good coffee place. However, if I want good coffee without the well-documented attitude at Bob's Well Bread, Queen Cup Coffee is your place. I spoke to one of the owners (Alyce) and she was super friendly. I love the iced horchata latte on a warm day. Parking is super easy here as well. I highly recommend Queen Cup Coffee. In Los Angeles where I live with have some heavy hitter coffee places Blue Bottle, Intelligentsia, La Colombe etc and I think Queen Cup is up there in quality as well. This puts Queen Cup up there with my two favorite coffee places in Santa Barbara county (with the other being Handlebar Coffee in SB). read more

Loved Queen Cup! It got recommended to us by a friend and we had never been, but made the trip on our way out of town. The barista there was super friendly and answered all of my annoying questions with a smile . I got a honey cinnamon latte and it was perfect. Husband got a double shot and it was really good too. Super smooth and bright. Loved the inside too. Not a ton of seating, but enough to sit and chit chat for awhile. Loved all of the greenery and cute signage! I stopped by queen cup on a day trip to the valley and it was SO good. I brought my husband back a few days later! The barista was helpful in explaining the menu and provided suggestions based on my tastes. I ordered the dirty horchata with oat milk and my husband had the honey oat latte. My daughter loved the blueberry muffin which they make in-house (I did not try it but multiple adults in the coffee shop also raved about the muffin as well). They also sell croissants which are brought in from a bakery in Santa Barbara (chocolate, cinnamon sugar, and plain). We look forward to more day trips to the valley with a stop here! read more

I'm joining in the 5 star reviews crowd. This friendly, cozy coffee shop has everything I want, plus great coffee. My benchmark is a simple cappuccino. Mine came in the right size cup with the right amount of foam and for the extra touch a heart on top. I rarely get a cappuccino done right (usually end up a latte) so big kiddos to Queen Cup Coffee. They have a load of fun fancy coffee's I'll have to come back and try. read more

What a fun spot! They're located close to the 246, parking is a breeze, and the service is great! You walk up to a window to order and the drinks come out quickly! There are great shops nearby to browse while enjoying your beverage too! I opted for an iced matcha. It was soooo good! My husband ordered an iced latte and was equally impressed. I love their decor. This establishment is a complete joke, we stopped by the elks lodge and decided we wanted to grab something. Well I wanted just a damn normal cup of coffee which the server said they didn't have any!! Tell me what coffee shop doesn't have a cup of simple coffee??? I personally think the server was just lazy and didn't want to make a pot of coffee. I have a successful business and I know personally I go above and beyond to accommodate my customers. I will never come back!! And will let all my inner circle know that they should think twice... All I can say I left mad as hell!!! Easily one of the coolest coffee spots I've ever been to. Not only is their coffee phenomenal, but they have some eclectic, yet incredible things on the menu that should be classified as Schedule I drugs because they're so addicting - I'm talking the Valley Fog and the Dirty Horchata. But honestly, the best part of this place are the owners and the environment. You become family the moment you walk up, and they go above and beyond to show that this is a space of inclusivity and love. This is the hangout spot and it's a must check out for any visitors or locals. I'm even thinking of posting up at one of their tables out front and just doing my job remotely from there. read more

We had tried her cupcakes before in Los Olivos, and we knew we wanted our wedding cake from her because her wine cupcake flavors were some of our favorites, and we were doing a wine forward wedding at a venue in Santa Ynez. The cake itself was delicious and the perfect addition to our day. Our guests absolutely loved it, and we loved how the flavors of Blackberry Chocolate Syrah and Bubbly Strawberry Champagne perfectly fit our theme! Highly recommend!

Restroom is clean but there is only one as far as I saw which thankfully was not busy. Parking is all residential but it seems like there is plenty and for those looking to do work on their laptops there are definitely plenty of outlets so enjoy. We popped in today and were impressed by the huge selection of sandwich options. You can choose from several breads including focaccia, sourdough, baguette, or whole wheat, and then build from a really interesting variety of meats, cheeses, and vegetarian toppings. The cheese selection alone was worth the visit. They offer unique choices like Stilton, horseradish cheddar, and several English cheeses (plus plenty of brie options that work beautifully on their sandwiches). It's not your typical deli lineup, which makes the menu fun to explore. We ordered the half sandwich and half salad combo, which was the perfect portion for lunch. You can also order full sandwiches or full salads, and they offer chips on the side if you want a little crunch with your meal. For dessert we split an ice cream sandwich called "Monkey in the Middle." It had banana ice cream between two soft cinnamon cookies with chocolate hazelnut spread. We shared it four ways and it was the perfect little sweet ending. They also have a nice selection of canned beverages, and there's a water station out front if you just want something simple. Best of all, sitting outside in Los Olivos is such a treat. Great food, lots of creative options, and a relaxed wine-country atmosphere. We'll definitely stop again next time we're in town.

They served it like Avocado Toast, all ingredients on top. It had good flavor. I had a strawberry cheese Danish that I enjoyed. If ever in the area, I'd return.

Came in on a Friday early afternoon and had the best time because of the staff! We had plans to visit other wineries but pivoted once we realized how much we liked it there. We started with the Chip Tasting that pairs wine chips with their wine. The idea is fantastic but the chips were not our favorite. I would recommend a lighter crispier chip to pair with their amazing wines, these are too dense with fake flavors that tasted off. We had a cheese plate which was premade but still wonderful! Great cheeses and exactly what we needed to remove the memory of the chips. We bought a bottle and one of their candles poured into a wine bottle on our way out. It smells amazing! Beautiful property that can be seen from the windows inside the tasting room. Thanks again to the fellas working that day that made it so fun!

It's basically that now as we've been enjoying it for years and years. Each visit is alway nice. Right from driving through the gates and up the hill. The property is beautiful overlooking the valley from on top. Both indoor or outdoor seating available. This visit, it was somewhat chilly so everyone was indoor. It wasn't that busy when we arrived but alway so great to see familiar faces. The vibes always turns to hanging out with friends and catching up from the last time. And you can't forget the wines. Yes, that's the whole point of us visiting. Everything is alway refreshing and delicious. Of course that's bad in a sense as it goes down so well....lol... Some new releases are alway a good start. My group tends to stick to the reds but sometimes a white or rose comes into the pictures and makes a lasting impression. There's been loads of time when we stopped by and the patio is bustling with people and a live bands. Summer is approaching and the fun is about the start. Plus, lately it's alway been a miss with the members lounge. Either closed and this time it was reserved for a private event. Ugh sucks on our part I guess.
