This food was DISGUSTING! We all got sick! I don't know how anyone gave this place a good rating! Our fried rice had chopped RAW onion in it, with no egg at all and it was white with no flavor other than just straight onion. Not to mention a lot of the rice was under cooked and crunchy (i attached a pic). We got the Crispy Honey Chicken and it tasted burnt and fried in dirty oil. I'm not surprised, the place looks so gross inside. No wonder they don't allow people to eat in there anymore. We both got sick. We literally got just the crispy chicken which comes with white rice and broccoli, and a quart of fried rice and that was THIRTY DOLLARS! I've never had chinese food that bad in my life! Ordered lunch today October 25 2025. Shrimp with garlic and shrimp with lobster sauce. There were 4 small shrimp and 4 pieces of broccoli in the order. Brown rice overwhelmed the bowl. Same number of shrimp in the shrimp with lobster sauce , comes with dip or egg roll. Egg roll was small. Tonight I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. It was as shown in the picture, fried chicken with a sweet and sour sauce. It was delivered promptly and included the sauce separately with a serving of rice. I enjoyed it! However, the description of this was "stir fried pineapple, ginger bell peppers, onions in a sweet and sour sauce". I was looking forward to the pineapple! At first I thought perhaps there were pineapple chunks in the fried chunks but there was not. Anyway, the picture and the description are two totally different things. read more

We have been customers for over 10 years, and have enjoyed their food. Tonight, we ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken with stirred-fried pineapple, bell pepper, ginger and onions. We picked up the order, took it home (a 25 minute drive), and found the chicken and a container and sauce, nothing else. I called Queen Cuisine and complained. They said we had looked at an old menu, they had changed their menu 3 years ago. My husband then checked the online menu, which listed the same ingredients. I called them back, and pointed the online menu with the same listed ingredients. I was then told to bring the order back, and then order something else. We will never go to Queen Cuisine again. Overall the food was good, however I did have a problem with my Mongolian Beef... for the almost $13 for the entree, without an egg roll or even fried rice, I would expect more then 4 tiny pieces of beef in my meal. You can do takeout or eat in. Lo mein was very good not greasy and lightly coated in a savory soy sauce. Chicken and broccoli stir fry and the orange chicken tasted fine and edible, the usual classic flavors. Nothing about these dishes were knock your socks off but no complaints either. read more

This is a little suburban Chinese place with a lot of heart. In California where I live I could not give it five stars but here I am glad to find it. The fried wontons with the orange sauce are quite delicious. Surprisingly so. The potstickers are clearly hand rolled. The hot and sour soup has a savory base that I really enjoyed. I really hope this restaurant will stay around because this is the only good chinese food place in the chadds ford aera. I attempt to try every chinese restaurant in a given area to determine the best of the group. My "testings go like this" Chicken w/broccoli, wonton soup, fried rice, steamed dumplings General Tso's extra spicy, beef teriyaki app, egg drop soup I'm writing this review after the General Tso's. To begin with, my chicken w/broccoli was exceptional, as were the dumplings. The fried rice was fantastic, but I don't remember much of the wonton. The General Tso's was quite possibly the best I have ever eaten. You can tell the people preparing this food genuinely care about the product they're putting out. The Tso's had long strips of chicken which were perfectly cooked. It didn't taste fatty or over breaded. It was sweet, but the perfect amount of spice. Quite frankly, it was a perfect meal. The egg drop soup was equally delicious, though they don't have soup spoons for take out which made enjoying it a bit harder. Trivial, I know, but just know if you're eating at work you'll want to have some big spoons. It is rare to find a chinese restaurant that hits this level of quality and I cannot wait to try something else. Honestly, this place is worth going out of your way for. I will say, I placed my order on a Friday afternoon around 12:30 pm and it was ready as soon as I walked in the door around 12:45. It's a clean establishment with very friendly staff. Don't let the name or location fool you. Hell, don't let the quaint feel of the establishment turn you off. This is high level, top quality food at a very reasonable cost.
