Extraordinary & Profoundly Talented Music Teacher!…read more Tammie is able to transmit the essence of music in every lesson. She customizes lessons to meet the needs of each student. She is a pro at so many genres, and is are able to provide professional guidance in classical music, jazz, rock, and just about anything else you'd wish to learn. Tammie is a person on my musical journey who possesses some of the most profound skills to teach piano to all ages. She is a revelation to me - this is the first time that I see someone for whom music theory is not some abstraction but rather the structure guiding every note she plays, who asks not how a music text is constructed but why, and I listen in total awe to her explanations of what goes on under the fingers. And, of course, I continue to be greatly impressed with her energy and her enthusiasm. I learned a lot from her in the past year, and I am hoping this is just a beginning of a long road. Affordable - I've taken lessons from other piano teachers in the past and they were ok. Then, I took from Tammie's Music Studio and learned from a seasoned professional. Skilled, Talented, Experienced, Professional, Kind, and Caring Piano Teacher!

I decided to take piano lessons because I was looking for something more enriching than my usual…read moreroutine, something that would let me move away from just playing video games in my spare time. When I first walked into Music Lessons Arizona, I was a total beginner. I didn't know a thing about reading sheet music and didn't even own a piano or a keyboard. I was really starting from zero. The instructors were fantastic at guiding me through those first steps. They really emphasized why having a piano with weighted keys was important for building the right technique and finger strength, and they patiently taught me how to read music from the ground up. What I appreciated most was that they never made me feel rushed. They always made sure I understood each concept before moving on and offered practical tips that made learning enjoyable. I remember the first time I played at one of the school's workshops--it was incredibly exciting, and my instructor was right there cheering me on. In the end, I'd absolutely recommend Music Lessons Arizona to any adult who's thinking about learning piano. It's a really welcoming place, and the journey has been genuinely rewarding for me. I'm really glad I started here.

I was looking for vocal lessons for my 7 year old daughter and came across Music Lessons Arizona…read more We tried first 30 min lesson with Laura Cable and I realized this is the teacher we were looking for! We immediately extended the length of each lesson to 1 hour instead of 30 min. Laura is a true professional, she is attentive, sensible, playful, sincere, demanding and supportive! And overall the atmosphere in the school is warm and welcoming, it does not feel like studying. When we come there we learn and have fun in the same time! We are certainly to continue!

Not only has he developed musically over the past year and a half, but he has acquired a great deal of his vocabulary from songs! I cannot recommend this program enough. She understands that kiddos are at different developmental stages and knows how to engage even the most unwilling participants. The kids are listening, watching, and absorbing. My oldest was more of an observer and didn't like to dance, but he loved the other different musical experiences (play along, scarves, parachutes, bells and more). I love that Ms. Colleen introduced different instruments to the children; both kids enjoyed strumming the auto harp at the end of every class. My youngest loved when Ms. Colleen would play the violin in class. During the play along time, my child (then 2.5 yr) would "play the violin" with the drumsticks found in the instrument pile. Ms. Colleen noticed that and equipped us with the tools we needed to help that love for the violin grow. My kiddo, now 5, has 'graduated' from Music Together and now she has enjoyed violin lessons for the last year. Playing the violin is her favorite thing to do. Thank you, Music Together and Ms. Colleen for helping our family grow musically!
