First off I wanna start by saying I used to like coming here for rehearsals and I have been coming here for the past 7 years with multiple bands and every encounter with that dude has been unpleasant. I've tried to ignore it and move on with my day but after this last encounter, I'm done with this place. I had made an appointment with him over the phone, and when asked for my bands name, he responds with "oh my god" in an annoyed tone. Like what kind of asshole response is that. It completely threw me off and it was one hundred percent unwarranted. I had decided shortly after the call that I was not going to go back to that place after that, then the next day that was scheduled with this spot, he called me and I told him I will be going somewhere else and he had a very nasty attitude and said "don't book here again". Like okay buddy, I was not planning on ever going back there, especially after his snarky ass comment. And he acted as if it's my fault I don't want to go to this shitty establishment. Every comment he has made has been condescending and rude and comes off as prejudice. I don't know if he thinks he's some funny guy or what but he needs to get a grip. Absolutely an unacceptable way to run a business or to get people to like/want to come to your space. There's so many other great rehearsal spots that you should spend your money on. Not here.

They sell accessories such as guitar strings, tuners, straps, picks, music stands, and some acoustic guitars and banjos as well. The vibe is very relaxed and they are never pushy, you can look around for 30 min alone exploring if you want and just ask if you need anything. We had three choices and price points, and I selected the "student" one which was the least expensive, and wow, this instrument sounds so much better and is in great shape! We were in and out of the shop in 20 minutes. The salesperson helping us was knowledgeable and friendly and we were able to find the accessories we needed as well (shoulder rest sponge and rosin). She's been playing it for 3 months with no issues and it doesn't go out of tune quickly like her cheap one. Billing is automatic and easy, with no mistakes. Eily let me try literally every shoulder rest in the store! She was so patient, listened to me, looked at what was going on, and helped me get setup with a shoulder rest that allowed me to play in comfort and without pain!! I was shocked at how much focused attention I received. Truly caring and wonderful people!! I came back to buy a vintage violin and again they were very patient, letting me try every violin until I found the one that best suited me. I didn't quite like the sound, so they recommended strings that would best suit my instrument and now it sounds perfect! Clark, the luthier is so talented too. I took a new PRS guitar I had purchased at another shop in for some warranty work on a static noise…read moreissue coming through the body. I left the guitar with Guitar Gallery and the tech took my guitar off site to his own shop to troubleshoot and try to resolve the issue. After a couple weeks I called and was told he was still working on it but should have it finished soon. Finally I called and was told he was bringing it back over to the store and I could pick it up just before they closed. I picked it up and paid $65 for his time and efforts. He said the static was still present but was perhaps slightly less, and that the static could be coming from the plastic cover plates on the back of the guitar and he said he would make me new replacement covers of a different t material to see if that would alleviate the static. He said he would have them done in about a week. I brought the guitar home and discovered the vibrato trem arm was missing. I called the tech's cell the next day and he never answered or returned messages. I called the shop and they said they didn't know anything about the missing trem arm. After many many attempts I eventually gave up and just ordered a new trem arm from an online shop. I never heard from anyone again about the replacement back plate covers or my missing trem arm. I do not recommend taking a guitar to this shop for any repair. I'm out $65 for attempted repairs, and another $25 to replace the misplaced trem arm myself. Signed...Pissed in Peoria
