I can't say enough great things about Shane at SER Soundworks!…read more After searching all over Phoenix for someone to help me record my audiobook, Shane was the only one who picked up the phone, responded quickly, and took the time to truly communicate with me. His professionalism and customer service stood out immediately. When we started recording, he was AMAZING. He listened to every single word I said and stopped me if anything sounded off -- my tone, pacing, clarity, anything. He cared about the details and made sure I sounded polished, intelligent, and confident. As someone brand new to audiobook recording, I appreciated his patience and guidance so much. His passion, expertise, and high standards are unmatched in Arizona -- and honestly, probably anywhere in the country. I will absolutely be using him for every future audiobook and audio project. If you want someone who genuinely cares about your project and brings out your best, go to SER Soundworks. Shane is exceptional.

The store is packed with any genre of sheet music and books (and TAB form) for every instrument you can imagine (banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, vocals, guitar, piano, brass instruments, woodwinds, etc all of them). They sell accessories such as guitar strings, tuners, straps, picks, music stands, and some acoustic guitars and banjos as well. Vinyl records and small musical gifts line the walls, it's so fun to explore and each time you visit you'll find something new, as there's so much selection. I took a new PRS guitar I had purchased at another shop in for some warranty work on a static noise…read moreissue coming through the body. I left the guitar with Guitar Gallery and the tech took my guitar off site to his own shop to troubleshoot and try to resolve the issue. After a couple weeks I called and was told he was still working on it but should have it finished soon. Finally I called and was told he was bringing it back over to the store and I could pick it up just before they closed. I picked it up and paid $65 for his time and efforts. He said the static was still present but was perhaps slightly less, and that the static could be coming from the plastic cover plates on the back of the guitar and he said he would make me new replacement covers of a different t material to see if that would alleviate the static. He said he would have them done in about a week. I brought the guitar home and discovered the vibrato trem arm was missing. I called the tech's cell the next day and he never answered or returned messages. I called the shop and they said they didn't know anything about the missing trem arm. After many many attempts I eventually gave up and just ordered a new trem arm from an online shop. I never heard from anyone again about the replacement back plate covers or my missing trem arm. I do not recommend taking a guitar to this shop for any repair. I'm out $65 for attempted repairs, and another $25 to replace the misplaced trem arm myself. Signed...Pissed in Peoria
