A burger, pizza and lobster restaurant. Cleverly sectioned off parts of the restaurant allow you to view the lobsters (in a tank), the pizza oven or the burger station through windows into the kitchen. Tables are spacious with paper placemats & quirky gold coloured cutlery. We booked a table for 8pm (which appeared to be an early sitting) and staff were attentive and fast to serve us. The menu was well labelled, even showing which dishes were cooked from frozen and which were fresh which was reassuring. I ordered lobster pasta which arrived with lobster in shell but staff were quick to whisk it away and return with the meat pulled out. The lobster meat was tasty and the tomato sauce was fresh but the pasta was a bit bland overall. My husband ordered the 'queen lobster' dish which came with a bit of everything - lobster in shell, lobster roll (described as a lobster burger) and a fruity salad. Again, lobster meat was tasty but the lobster roll was definitely the tastiest part of the whole meal, juicy with hints of lemon and pepper and not too soggy. We also ordered a bottle of chianti from a rather confusing wine list but it was nice enough & we were given a complementary glass of prosecco which was too sweet for my taste but was a nice touch. Overall the vibe of the restaurant was probably more suitable for lunch rather than dinner and the limited lobster dishes were all pretty same-y. However, I would recommend the lobster roll on its own and maybe try the pizza/burger section of the menu instead. Staff were pleasant and the restaurant is definitely family friendly & perfect for a quick meal. Upbeat, fun & had some nice ideas and probably a great choice if dining with kids. read more
