Amazing experience. We have been to a few 1 star Michelin places and liked many of their dishes. However, we can see why this one as of 2024 has 3 stars (less than 140 restaurants in the world have that designation). Every single dish was better than the last and even the "worst" dish was exceptional. The service, presentation, flavor combinations and view were something truly special. I've attached some photos so you can see how the plating was. This place is definitely out of the way but if you're in the Sorrento area of the Amalfi Coast it's not a far drive and the time is well spent. Pure perfection.

It attracts several celebrities including Chef Bobby Flay, Paul McCartney, Oprah, J-Lo, Stanley Tucci, and the list goes on. We were celebrating our anniversary and my daughter knows I love this stuff so she made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon. She explained that it was her parents anniversary and was hoping we'd get a table on the water.. So let me start with the positive. First the views are amazing. Decor was well done, but for us it seemed to stop there. We ordered a couple of apps for the table. Fried cauliflower blossoms, not memorable, potato crochets, also not memorable. Next we had tuna tartare, ok at best. For my entree I ordered the lemon sauce spaghetti. Wasn't at all what I would have expected. I could go through the rest of the entree's but I really don't want to relive it. I mentioned earlier that it was our anniversary but no mention from the staff. Yes we requested a table by the water, but this afternoon we could have had any one of several tables at the waterside but we didn't. No little comp of desert or a cupcake. I really had my hopes up but turned out to be a disappointment for me. If I'm back in Italy it will be a toss up if I want to take a chance and eat there.

Having visited multiple places in Italy and Sicily the last time, this place stood out as one of the favorite spots on our trip. Of course we had to stop by again, and we were not disappointed. When in Sorrento, lemon pasta is a must, but I have the say that the true star was La Genovese pasta, which was recommended by our server. My husband still liked lemon pasta best, which means you really can't go wrong. Their bread was also delicious, particularly the white bread and the breadsticks, and they give you balsamic vinegar and olive oil for it. Considering most of the bread we had in Italy was surprisingly disappointing, it's exciting to eat somewhere that the food is good from start to finish. They also gave us one scoop of limoncello and one scoop of lemon gelato for dessert. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the lemon gelato. This is our second time back, and we would not hesitate to eat here again the next time we're in Sorrento. Servers were also friendly and helpful. The food does take a while, but that goes to show that it all is freshly made. This place is great whether it's for a casual dining experience or for date night. They also have free WiFi, just ask them for the info. I love that it's also a family establishment, and family members work at the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.

My wife had the bolognese, which was a bit bland. Complimentary bread is served with oil & balasamic. They had some type of a loud noise (generator?) going on & off most of the time we were there, which was an ambience killer. Service was adequate.

Put in an order over the phone and they said to come in around 40 to 45 minutes but when we went there it was clear that they hadn't even started the order yet. Had to wait at least 10 or 15 minutes more while other customers got their orders and then person made our pizza. Guy making the pizza seemed really fun and nice though and smiled when ever we made eye contact. He seemed to have a good rapport with all the other stuff so that's a nice sign as well. All the pizzas were absolutely delicious! Vegetarian pizza was somehow amazing! Good amount of vegetables on there and I added some chili flakes and it was unbelievable. Sausage and mushroom pizza is also hit with the family. I think everyone loved the spicy salami pizza a little extra because we usually like spicy food. Also ended up getting the Pistachio Aranchini because they had them ready already. Really nice flavor in there. From what I could tell they had pistachio cream and some ham inside as well along with the rice. Quite a nice appetizer. They're croissanty on the outside and nice flavor as well.

Apparently every other Airbnb host did the same because there was quite the line waiting to get inside. We waited about 20 minutes and the line moved quickly. Kudos to the staff who were excellent and interacted well with us both while in line an inside while eating. Everyone seemed so happy here. Once seated we ordered drinks and the stuffed zucchini appetizer. The complimentary bread was on target. Very good. One of us had lasagna, another had the fish, another had the Gorgonzola Ravioli and I had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. I tried all the dishes and they were all yummy. Very well done and tasty. We shared the Lemon Surprise for dessert and it was sublime. So tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant but be prepared to wait in line for seating.

We passed the time chatting up those around us, and after about 45 minutes we were finally seated. The Mr. opted for lasagna and I got the scialatielli also scoglio (homemade pasta with seafood and tomato sauce) which was presented in a fun way. We concluded by sharing two desserts; the 'lemon delight' and the profiteroles. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious.
