I used Lee for an FFL transfer. Everything went very smoothly. I would recommend him.

We then after went toward the shotgun range, where everyone was very welcoming . The men who worked there really put the time and effort in teaching us everything we needed to know to shoot trap. We enjoyed it so much we got a membership.

My dad went to the range office prior to make sure there were no events scheduled and due to the pyrotechnics week. He also check the website the person at the office said no events were scheduled and hardly no one has been there much due to the price of ammo. There were no events listed for that weekend listed on the website as well. Saturday morning we loaded all our gear and when we arrived, all the pistol ranges were taken and closed due to a event. We left and came back after 1pm. Still closed due to the event. Ok, no big deal. Arrived on Sunday morning, same thing with the exception of open range open. Great, at least that I thought until we got Hassled by the security guard and a maintenance guy who I will now refer the security guard as Barney Fife and Maintenance guy as Gomer Pyle. First, my dad is a member, my understanding is it's open to the public on the weekend until noon. I may be mistaken. As soon as we got there and started to unload, the Barney cam and asked us if we were members. So my dad produced his card. We have been going to this range over 10 years. We know the rules as well as gun safety. Well Barney thought it was his duty to go over the safety rules, i Igor Ed him and continued to unload. And he finally left only to park at the top of the hill behind us and watch us. Then Gomer came buy and said we needed to share the lane if anyone comes. Because we had both paper targets. We also brought our own metal targets. I said we know the rules! Meanwhile, we have not even taken a shot yet. We went on with our target practice finally and someone did show up. And allowed them in to share the lane.unfortunately they brought a couple of children which made us a little uncomfortable. Here comes Barney again and asked the other if they were members, the guy didn't have his card and told him he had to go to the office to get one and admonished the other guy and his kid and told them they had to be seated until he came back with the card. Fast forward, the guy returned, so did Barney. Asked him for his card. Here's the funny part. The guy said "I don't need to show you my card, the at the office said to tell you (Barney) your a D**k"! I about hit the dirt laughing. Because he was a D. Well, Barney got angry and demanded his card. He finally showed him and Barney went back in his white truck with his one bullet and sat at the top of the hill. We all shared the shooting turns. Even the kid with the BB gun. He was a good shot and did handle his rifle safely. Still we were a bit hesitant. That besides the point. Then here come Barney again! Told us we had to move out metal target to the back for safety, ok, so we did. However, the people who were shooting at the event had metal target that were not at the back of the range. The lane we were using had metal plates at the top of the berm angled to deflect any ricochets. Back to to the top of the hill behind us Barney goes to watch us all. We all shoot for a while and here comes Barney again! Barney looks well over 70 years old and wears glasses. He come down and tells us our bullets are ricocheting and going into the other lane next to us. I'm like WTF! How could Rent-A-Barney see that when there were others shooting in both lanes on each side of us? The berms are made up of gravel and rock with the additional metal plates on top of the berm which the range installed to deflect. round's that ricochet. We were firing at paper targets and shot at the metal targets less the 20 rounds because they were to far and we were sharing the lane. At this point the three of us have had enough of Barney harassing us. The three of us have more than 50 years of shooting experience between us and all have gone through handgun safety courses. I've never been so hassled by some security schmuck anywhere. Just so you know, I am in my 60's, dad 87 who barely took a shot because the little kids were there and made him nervous, and and my buddy mid 50's. Hope Rent-A-Barney and Gomer are happy they chased us away! Both were two D's! If he's there the next time and decides to harass us, I won't be so nice and will engage him with the same treatment he gave us! This range deserves a 5 star rating, I'm giving it a three for now due to Barney & Gomer!

Also, noticed they had an outdoor axe throwing target and decided to go inside. As we stepped inside it wasn't too busy. It was clean, nicely lit and was very organized. The staff was friendly, and knowledgeable. They had a variety of guns, and for kids they had GoatGuns and other items. They had a bathroom for customers which was well kept and clean. I didn't have time to actually go axe throwing or go to the shooting range but plan to next time I'm in town.

I'm a total amateur to shooting guns, very little experience but luckily I had a great instructor, Randy, to help me. He was informative, courteous and gave me a great recommendation for which belt-fed to try out. Showed me exactly how to hold each gun safely and comfortably, never treated me like an idiot or anything, he was great. Really chill vibe which helped with having such a good time. I shot a bunch of guns and it was a total blast, especially the big ass belt-fed gun. It's not cheap, but hey either is ammo and upkeep, so I get it. Nice little gift shop as well, got myself a shot glass. I had a great experience and If I ever end up in Williams again, I'd love to bring a friend or family member here.

The brothers all came from Colorado for one of the courses. We had a fantastic time! It was safe, and engaging without being so over the top that you couldn't get fully immersed. We did close quarter drills, move and shoot drills and some fundamentals work. It was a hot day. Bring more water than you think you'll need. Highly recommend the program. I wish there were non-season pass options though as we do have to travel to participate so the season pass doesn't fit us very well but if we can make room for even three days it is worth the price, especially compared to some of the other programs out there that want to charge $1,000 a day. If you're interested, do it. Its an experience you don't get at your local range. I have some pictures I'll add later but wanted to write this before I forgot.

I attended an "open training" session and the whole experience was unique and beneficial.  The day is broken up into sessions and everyone who is training gathers to participate in the day's plans.  Basic tactical pistol and rifle, TCCC (tactical combat casualty care), rappelling, shooting and moving, and some scenario-based role-playing reactive exercises (and even a bit of hostage rescue/building clearing) were being offered.  Mike, the owner, and his instructors work out with the attendees what is going to be taught when so that you can maximize your training according to what it is you want to work on that day. That last part is what really struck me as useful.  Rather than a predetermined program, you can tailor your training.  The instructors are all competent and knowledgeable and open-minded, they'll offer advice but let you run your setup how you want to just so long as it's safe to everyone around you. The role-playing exercises are interesting, fun and challenging.  Mike ran the ones we did that day and you can tell he loves every minute of trying to get people out of their comfort zones.  Something else to note is the level of attention paid to safety; from the moment you show up until the moment you leave safety protocols are strictly observed and followed.  At no point did I observe any lapses and have zero concerns about my well-being while at Marauders.
