Great place but the lady who replaced the Asian lady (Suki was her name?) who used to give massages…read morethere is pretty bad. Not only did she give bad vibes but she must have massaged my neck wrong because my glands were swollen and sore for a few days after I left there. I miss Suki. Also, lady who did my pedicare was not careful enough not to make my sensitive toes bleed. Would use Fitness Oasis for everything else. Their stylists, classes and facility are great.

What I LOVE: The service. As soon as you walk in/out, they greet you by name. The day spa- SYLVIA…read moreis AWESOME. She's a wax guru. She somehow makes bikini waxes tolerable. She also does my eyebrows and I get complimented on them all the time. What I LOVE about this gym is that it's very unintimidating. You can roll out of bed, slap on an old t-shirt and some sweat pants and no one is going to judge you. It's not like coed gyms (I also have a 24 hr fitness membership)... Also, it doesn't matter what fitness level you're at. I really appreciate that. What I wished was better: More machines and newer machines. The machines aren't old but there are better ones out there. The spin class is done in front of a screen- no instructor. Pool is nice but small. * I just changed my rating from 4* to 2* because the treadmills were breaking down and instead of getting new ones, they got replaced with OLD treadmills. Who does that? That would never fly in a bigger city where there's more competition. For $49 a month, I think the customers deserve better than that.

Anytime Fitness is great--mostly because they actually let me work out anytime. I once rolled in at…read more2:37 a.m., fueled by a combination of bad life choices and a midnight pizza binge. The fact that it was open and I didn't have to justify my existence to anyone was a win. The gym is clean, the equipment works (mostly), and the vibe is casual. You can show up looking like you just crawled out of a swamp, and nobody will judge you. I think I saw a guy in pajama pants doing bicep curls while watching The Office. Respect. That said, let's talk about the music. It's like the playlist was curated by someone who time-traveled from a middle school dance in 2004. Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Brightside as much as the next person, but can we sprinkle in something newer? Maybe Beyoncé? Or at least throw in a motivational speech from The Rock? Also, the free weights section is a bit like the jungle. There's always that guy grunting like he's giving birth to a dumbbell, but hey, it's a gym. Live and let lift. Overall, Anytime Fitness delivers. It's not fancy, but it's reliable, convenient, and no one yelled at me for eating a protein bar mid-squat. Highly recommend for night owls, pajama lifters, and people avoiding their responsibilities.

Signed up here because it was the first gym I visited that said they had a sauna. In fact the guy…read morewho signed me up was raving about having not 1 but TWO saunas. Turns out these are 2 moldy dirty ran down 1 person infrared saunas (NOTE TO THE OWNER - you know the bottoms have a TRAY that pulls out so you can clean the BALL SWEAT?? Try cleaning them out for once! Nasty MFR)... They reach a maximum heat of around 130 degrees... My CAR gets hotter in the summer time. The place has such cold AC that cold air is constantly seeping through the cracks... Don't try to heat it up beforehand either or someone else will just take it. Happened multiple times to me. Whatever. Horrible saunas (literally worst i've ever used. hard to even call it a sauna). But even worse - I communicated that I wasn't in town for long. He told me about the contract with the caveat that it can be broken so long as I provide proof that I moved. Simple enough? He conveniently left out that even if you move you have to show proof that you don't live within 25 miles of an anytime fitness... 25 miles is insane. Safe to say you'll most likely be stuck in a contract with this shit gym. There's so many amazing businesses you can lift at that don't have malpractices like this gym. I've been a member with Anytime in WA State for over 6 years starting in 2015. Never have I EVER dealt with such terrible contracts and service. Owner is a piece of work and accused me of lying. As a real estate professional who reads and writes contracts for a living I'm speechless.
