I've grown tired of the sloppy mess big name gyms of Los Angeles county. This gym is clean! Mother and Som work this place and workout here daily, everyday I see them both cleaning and organizing. Also very respectful along with the local members I don't feel I'm getting the stare down from some jack off while lifting. Past years ago I lifted around the corner at some CrossFit gym for 40$ a month and man oh man when I walked in some head banger song was playing and a bunch of bros yelling at each other to get that rep. Lmao. I am not into that don't think I ever was. So that being said I paid 60$ a month without any contract or sign up bonus and worth every penny. Being that they. Could charge more they don't. Also, it doesn't matter what fitness level you're at. I really appreciate that. What I wished was better: More machines and newer machines. The machines aren't old but there are better ones out there. The spin class is done in front of a screen- no instructor. Pool is nice but small. * I just changed my rating from 4* to 2* because the treadmills were breaking down and instead of getting new ones, they got replaced with OLD treadmills. Who does that? That would never fly in a bigger city where there's more competition. For $49 a month, I think the customers deserve better than that.

That said, let's talk about the music. It's like the playlist was curated by someone who time-traveled from a middle school dance in 2004. Don't get me wrong, I love Mr. Brightside as much as the next person, but can we sprinkle in something newer? Maybe Beyoncé? Or at least throw in a motivational speech from The Rock? Also, the free weights section is a bit like the jungle. There's always that guy grunting like he's giving birth to a dumbbell, but hey, it's a gym. Live and let lift. Overall, Anytime Fitness delivers. It's not fancy, but it's reliable, convenient, and no one yelled at me for eating a protein bar mid-squat. He takes care of the gym like it's his own child and puts in all the work to show it. He is constantly asking me and my boys what machine we like and what we would like to see in the gym. He is expanding the building upstairs and putting in RED LIGHT THERAPY, MASSAGE BEDS, ADDITIONAL TANNING AND MORE SAUNAS!! He's ordered a couple new machines over the last couple months and has taken his time relocating equipment to ensure a thought out and quick lift if necessary. The cleaning lady is constantly moving around and making this gym spotless and does a great job at doing so. Great customer service from all the staff members and is phenomenal at being a 3rd-place home. Couldn't imagine lifting anywhere else in Havasu, Love YALL!!
