The Violets Delight Red Blend
Greg L.

A few of us Yelp Elites met at this winery to celebrate our Aries birthdays. We came across this winery while attending Yelp's Celestial Ball earlier this month. We were greeted by Amy (who was one of the representatives at the Ball) and her co-worker, Jasmin. These two were so much fun and made our visit much more engaging and entertaining. Both are very knowledgeable about the Quantum Leap collection. More on this to follow. First off, parking is limited in front of the building, but there is a sign directing you to additional parking at an open lot further down the street (coming from Fairbanks, it's past the winery--4424 Edgewater Drive). After a short walk, you arrive at the winery building. The tasting room is off to the left as the right side of the building is for private parties, entitled "The Cottage on Lake Fairview". The back of the building is a great place to relax by the lake. White Adirondack chairs are available for sitting outside. We spent some time out there on a beautiful afternoon! Now, onto the wines. We order flights to get acquainted with the wines. Jasmin then recommended the "Violets Delight Red Blend" based on our wine preferences and two of us fell in love with this beautifully blended and full-bodied wine (tasted like a nice Pinot Noir). Be sure to ask about the origination of this wine; the story is quite fascinating as to the resurgence of a grape variety believed to have been extinct. The three of us enjoyed a number of nice wines here. Amy then gave us a tour of the private party area as well as the Speakeasy. The private party area held a tasting that day and it is quite roomy and open. The Speakeasy is beautifully decorated, and it held a karaoke event later that evening. Both areas are available for a fee. We also met the owner - David. We discovered that Quantum Leap Winery is very eco-conscious, both in the selection and cultivation of its wines and the bottles the wines are sold in. They want to leave a much smaller carbon footprint than other wineries and that is another story you need to hear. So, come and explore this great winery and have an excellent time enjoying the product.

I had such a great time at this cute winery. The staff was amazing!! We were helped by Jasmine! She took care of us all night! She took her time with me explaining the wines and the flavors. I was able to sample a few wines before I chose my three for my flight. They have a beautiful lakefront setting out back. They have a gorgeous speak easy. And their main bar and setting is so cute. I wish I took more pictures of the location cause it's so cute. If you're looking for a cute place for nice drinks and great view, this is the place for you. Will definitely be back.

We checked out the new Quantum Leap location on a Saturday night. The new space has plenty of indoor seating and there was live music playing which made the place lively. You can choose from varying wine flights or wine by the glass. All are reasonably priced around $8-$9. The staff was friendly and quick to service.

First time at the new location. I attended a speakeasy event here with some friends. It was $30 a ticket. Parking is small but they have a grass lot next door. There is a room in the back of the winery. With our tickets we got 2 drink tickets and a charcuterie board. There is seating in the speakeasy area. I think there were more people than there were seats though. The drinks were good. They had some wine cocktails. The only thing I did not like was the charcuterie set up. It was from La femme du fromage. The boards were delicious. They were made to order though. There was only 1 person making them and maybe like 50+ people. The setup was that you would walk up to her and tell her if you had any allergies and place your order. No system to keep track of who has put their order in. And you just come back and pick it up. So we went up there a few times and our boards weren't ready. Then a little bit later went back and she had 2 ready so my friends took them. I ended up waiting another hour for my board. I was hungry. I think if you are working an event like this, a 2nd person is needed or do not make them to order. Other than this event I would come back again. Nice place to hang out or have date night.

This is a potential event space NOT a winery. No flights or nice wines offered. Overpriced cheap wine in plastic. Business is using old photos from previous location maybe. Small space for venders in front. Cool inside lounge area with couches they refer to as a "speakeasy". Back yard area on lake with lights. Cottage restroom. Limited menu with burgers. Nothing upscale except the "speakeasy" vibe room and potential. 1 star on drinks and offerings and music. Should not advertise as something they are not.

This winery has been here for I'm not sure how long but it is so wonderful! I love the warehouse a vibe and everyone that works there is so chill. There was a very sweet girl who got me a couple of cups of ice so I could have my own beverage since I was pregnant. It's a great ambience, even kids are welcomed. There was another little baby in there along with my daughter and they were just enjoying themselves. The staff doesn't bother you out and if you need anything, they are there. I heard that the wine was delicious and they have wonderful paintings in there that you can purchase. I had seen this winery when we went to eat at Pig Floyd's and I had totally forgot about it. We had family in from out of town and decided to take them there, they thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be back again.

Quantum Leap Winery is a fantastic winery and one of the Little Gems that truly makes Orlando the city Beautiful. Their wines are for the most part exceptional. The staff is friendly and it is an overall cool vibe. There has been a trends to buy local in the last generation or so. This is definitely a positive thing. Not only are we helping our community directly, but the product is usually a superior thing been the mass produced items that you get from big business. My mother really likes wine and a few bottles from Quantum Leap are always under the Christmas tree for her. I would definitely recommend this establishment and I give it five stars.

This is like a little hidden gem! They have wine flights ranging from $7 to $12 dollars and their bottles are super affordable. They also have two different charcuterie boards that you can purchase one for $15 and the other for $25 which just makes us the perfect little girls date night area or a regular date night or with a group of friends. We purchased two wine flights, one glass of wine, and two bottles of wine to take home with us plus tip under $100 !

What a fantastic place! Who would have thought grapes and Florida mixed, but somehow this place has found the right formula. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sarah, I think her name was, told us a lot about their wine and their mission. We got a little tour which was very unofficial, but cool to see their production facility while the event was going on. The patio was very quaint and perfect for sipping a glass of wine on a warm night. The ambiance of the place is very nice. I'd say it's a perfect spot for dates and couples night out. Good pricing on tasting and by the glass. Their tasting menu had a few that wowed us. Their Sauvignon Blanc on the white tasting menu was very refreshing with a lot of citrus notes and the Chardonnay was one of my favorites, almost coconutty!

Very nice quiet place to enjoy some wine or beers. Large place that is clean and well decorated. As you would expect the best value seems to be the flights that are offered. This gives you an opportunity to try different kinds of wine that you might not "normally" order. The plus side is that if you find something you really like, you can purchase by the bottle and take it home with you. There were two staff members working when we visited. One was great. So pleasant and engaging. The other unfortunately seemed to busy sitting down at a table talking to other people. He seemed annoyed that he had to get up and go behind the bar for us to order. I think with the size that adding some food items might have encouraged us to stay a bit longer. The wine is good but the experience would be better with something to snack on.

This was our first time at Quantum Leap Winery but won't be our last. We saw that they were having a Black Friday wine and foot massage event - can you say win win!! We did two wine flights - sweet-ish and red. Pricing was $8 for each flight. We added on a small charcuterie board for $15. Just small bites but just right to pair with the wine. Afterwards we were escorted to the back where the wine barrels are located and indulged in our 60 min foot massages from Barefoot Spa. The cost for the foot massages were $75 each.

ORLANDO, FL / Mills50 District: Quantum Leap Winery is a winery and cidery in the heart of the city that is unique in that they partner with the world's best vineyards to procure their grapes and crush them, then transport the juice to their winery for processing into wine. They have a great selection and all their pours come from taps for a fresher drink. We had a flight of their "Interesting Reds" and enjoyed spending time in the beautiful tasting room. Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside to sit at a barrell, admire local artwork, and enjoy the relaxing ambiance. There is also an outdoor patio that is covered on the top to protect from the sun and elements. They sell charcuterie and chocolate to snack on with your drinks. We met one of the owners who was born in and lived in NJ when he was young and he was fun to talk to about their process, the history, and that they love dogs visiting!

Oh boy! Lol what I stumbled onto

I was jumping from shop to shop and had just left a store when I saw the SIGN! Winery -- screech, right turn and 30 seconds later I saw the winery! I entered and no one was there! For 30 seconds, and a couple of ladies came through behind me and a minute later another couple. I opted for a cider flight instead of wine and it was delicious. Three healthy pours of traditional apple cider, strawberry cider and pineapple cider. I started with apple- I would say it's mid sweet, a bit dry- but you can enjoy the apples. Strawberry was delightful- refreshing, still on the dry side and not too tart. The pineapple was sweeter than the other two, but not overly sweet. Light and refreshing. The tasting room is filled with art and wine, plenty of tables and a huge bar. They offer charcuterie too- which IF I wasn't going to an event, and if I had a friend to help me snack.... the couple of ladies ordered it and I was envious! It looked scrumptious. A wonderful pairing. I hope to come back with my other half ;)

Want a crisp Sancerre from the Loire Valley? Got it. Looking for a cult California Cab that's almost impossible to find? They've got multiple vintages on the shelf. Rare allocations, library wines, small-production gems -- somehow they have them all, and at prices that usually beat everyone else. The beer aisle is just ridiculous (in the best way). Huge craft beer selection, imports from Belgium, Germany, Japan, you name it, plus all the local favorites and seasonals. The spirits section is equally insane -- top-shelf bourbon, hard-to-find Japanese whisky, mezcal, rum, gin, you could spend an hour just staring at the options. And then there's the humidor. Beautiful walk-in with a terrific selection of premium cigars -- from everyday favorites to limited editions that made me do a double-take. The staff is genuinely knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. They'll happily geek out with you about natural wines or help you pick the perfect bottle for a gift in two minutes flat. If you love wine, beer, spirits, or cigars, this place is basically Disneyland. I always leave with way more than I planned (zero regrets). Total Wine & More has ruined me for regular liquor stores forever -- and I'm totally okay with that! The ground floor has plenty of room to move around and enjoy the show without feeling cramped, which I really appreciated. They also have upstairs seating options if you're looking for a more elevated (and probably pricier) experience--but it's nice to have that flexibility depending on your vibe. Whether you want to stay for hours or just pop in and enjoy the performance, it caters to both. Staff were friendly and efficient all around. The bar setup was a huge plus--there were multiple bartenders working, so drinks came out quickly. Perfect for grabbing something before the show or doing a quick pregame without missing the fun. I came specifically to see Calum Scott, and WOW--he did not disappoint. His voice is even more incredible live, and you can tell he genuinely connects with the audience. Super kind energy, amazing stage presence, and just an all-around beautiful performance. The production was also top tier. The lighting and laser effects were phenomenal and really elevated the entire experience--it felt immersive without being overwhelming. One moment that really stood out was how the staff handled an emergency situation in the audience. Security and the team responded quickly and professionally, making sure the individual got the help they needed. That level of care and organization says a lot about the venue. Overall, such a solid first impression. Great layout, fast service, amazing performances, and a team that clearly knows what they're doing. I'll definitely be back--especially if they bring in more DJs or artists in the future!

I recall feeling like it was too crowded and too dark to see the vendors at the time. I wished it had felt more controlled but there was rain outside and so everyone was seeking refuge inside and it maybe just got out of hand. This time I came for a comedy show. We had seats upstairs which is a standard seated balcony. These seats are fixed, unlike the ground floor which can be seated or standing. I'm glad we had these seats because the ground floor seats looked like those ones you would find at a conference dinner table and are too small for your bum plus not comfortable at all. The balcony seats are spacious and have cup holders plus the venue is small enough that you aren't too far away. Honestly it's worth it up there. Now...I love the idea of local venues staying open but this space just feels like no updates have happened since 1980 and I know that's not true. It feels dingy and unkempt. I'm not sure if this means anything to anyone but it made me itchy. Anyhow, parking is easy, tickets don't tend to be expensive and it's local so I'm still glad it's here.
