I ended up getting my AC replaced with Quan was very happy with the outcome. In the initial quote, he walked me through all of the modifications required to perform the replacement. He had to cut a part of the ceiling and was the only one to mention this even though it was required by all the places I got quotes from. My budget was tight so he also was transparent about what pieces of work we could realistically descope (like not replacing some air ducts). The work was efficient, there was no delay, and they were good about the clean up. Quan was also attentive after the installations. My attic is hot in the summer and blowing in some warm air when I first turned on the AC so he quickly diagnosed the issue and added some insulation. I had the pleasure of using Quan AC last summer for AC repairs and replacement, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the customer service was exceptional!!! Quan was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about his craft. Not only did he diagnose and fix the issue with my AC unit efficiently, but he also provided me with a very good price, it was about 25% less than the other quote I looked at. He was able to schedule a time to complete a full replacement in one day with his crew and was available about two weeks after his initial inspection during the middle of a very hot summer. Typically it is very hard to have someone available during the summer! He thoroughly explained that my AC was very old and recommended replacement since the unit was inefficient and parts for this model were not as readily available. He explained the process would include a crane to drop in the new AC on the roof and to remove and appropriate dispose of the existing AC. He and his team took care of all these items! To be honest, I'm not a very handy gal and I appreciated the time Quan spent to explain the AC replacement process, AC warranty, and other helpful tips. He also noticed my existing thermostat was too old for the newer AC model and included a similar thermostat that would work at no extra cost and helped me replace my air filter and explained how often I should replace it more often since I have pets (I was not replacing the filter at all at the time). I had an issue with my condenser not turning on so I hired Quan to fix the issue. Quan made 4 attempts to repair it but could not figure it out. Quan did say in the beginning that if he was not able to fix the issue, he wasn't going to charge me. The only issue I had with Quan is, he left the attic a mess where the furnace was located. He left a bunch of broken replacement parts up there, a bunch of wires were cut from the control board and not reconnected. He left it a mess for the next technician I hired to repair my issue. I think he might be the person to hire if you don't have a serious issue. I had a low voltage short, and I don't think this was his expertise. read more

I think Quan is everyone's guy because he really is! He worked on a 2 week project for me totaling four visits. He did not fix the issue the first time but was willing to return and try again. He replaced the capacitor the first visit and control board on the third. Quan won't charge unless he does a replacement or a repair so forget those other companies that charge a trip fee. I booked two other companies and spent almost $200 just for them to show up and for one give a $3k estimate for a compressor replacement and the other a $5k AC unit replacement. Quan embodies ethics that are rare to find in people these days, especially in this line of work. Everyone just wants to price gouge you. However, Quan is transparent, honest, and does a great job. I called Quan to tell him my AC wasn't cooling the air anymore. However, the fan was still working. 1st visit: Initial evaluation, recommended replacing HVAC but told me the motor was broken, so I chose to replace the motor instead of replacing the unit. 2nd visit: Quan came out to replace the motor. However, upon closer inspection, discovered that the core of the HVAC was rusted. Warned me of potential fire hazard, and told me he highly recommends changing out the HVAC unit. After this visit, I decided to go with replacing the whole unit. 3rd visit: Quan came out and replaced the HVAC along with installing a new thermostat. Pricing was reasonable. Just to give an idea, I called about 7 companies that all had 4.5 or 5 star ratings on Yelp. Some quoted me 2x or more than what Quan charged.
