If you need your furnace, serviced, look no further than Art's HVAC. Our unit was turning on, but not heating. And with only a couple days until our holiday celebration, I needed it diagnosed and fixed quickly. One call to arts HVAC, and my problem was solved ON THE SAME DAY! Sean the technician, showed up and quickly diagnosed the issue. Initially he thought the repair was gonna have to wait until Monday, for the part. But on his way home, art found a supply shop open on a Saturday. And he was able to get me what I needed. He returned a short time later, installed it, and we are once again toasty in our crib. Thank you, Art and thank you Sean. Both art and Sean are very easy to work with. Sean explains everything that's going on. Great customer service. Need I say more? Oh and the price was right!

I assumed it was the AC unit sitting right above it, so I contacted Pioneers in a mild panic. They quickly put me in touch with Tomer, who showed up that same afternoon to take a look. From the moment he arrived, Tomer was calm, kind, and completely professional, which is exactly what you want when you're stressed about water dripping through your ceiling. He diagnosed the problem efficiently: our AC drip pan had overflowed due to a clogged drain pipe. He walked us through everything as he went, answering every question we threw at him without making us feel like we were slowing him down. He needed a couple of additional parts he didn't have on hand, so he promised to return Monday morning to finish the job. And he did, right on time. When yet another part turned out to be needed mid-repair, he didn't reschedule or leave us hanging. He went out, got it himself, and came straight back to finish what he started. No drama, no delays. While he was up in the attic, he also flagged some rat droppings and other pest concerns. But not in a pushy, upsell-y way, but just as a heads-up. "Here's what I'm seeing, I can get you a quote if you want." Refreshingly straightforward. Tomer turned a stressful Sunday emergency into a resolved problem by Monday afternoon. Thanks Pioneers H&A!

After the review was posted, the owner, Motti, contacted me to better understand what happened and to address the situation. He offered to refund the service fee because I was dissatisfied with the experience. While they were not the ones to fix my heater, I do appreciate the effort to follow up and their apparent commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope others will still consider giving them a chance, and if issues arise, I'd recommend reaching out directly to discuss possible resolution.

I had very good experiences with So Cal Air and definitely recommend them…read more Both the business and the construction parts of the job went smoothly. Communication was good. They helped me understand options and worked with me on what I wanted. They did what they said they would do. They were flexible and took the time to finesse the work where it was needed. Good quality work. Permits went fine, and everything passed the first time. My 1930 property has a 2-story duplex and a house. I live in one unit and have renters in the other units. I talked to several companies about the work. So Cal Air was more responsive than other companies. Menooa was very knowledgeable and helpful during the first meeting, offering me options. Their proposal was competitive with other proposals. They helped me understand options and were flexible, and worked with me through the installation of what I wanted. They installed 3 separate systems for me, one system for each unit. Each system had 3 zones. I've had many repairs to my property over the years, and the details matter to me. I wanted to hide the lines as much as practical, preserve the architectural look. My contractor handled the electrical installation and opened and repaired the drywall after the lines were installed. SoCal Air worked well with my contractor. Renovation of older construction is often complicated and takes extra effort. We had to come up with some creative solutions, and SoCal Air did a great job! My units were installed above doors and windows. My contractor modified the living room cove ceilings so the indoor units would fit close to the ceiling. So Cal Air did everything else. Everything fits great and looks great! I appreciated that Manooa gave good recommendations to steer me away from difficulties, but he also listened to me and headed my wishes when it mattered to me. So Cal Air handled the permits for the heat pumps. The installation passed the LA Building and Safety inspections with no issues. The work was finished late summer, early fall of 2025, after the heat, but in time for winter. Heating worked great in winter. We had a chance to use the cooling during a recent heat wave, and it worked great! I bought the heat pumps primarily for cooling, since the apartments had only heating and had never had cooling before. The units work great! The temperature stays very comfortable. Everything is very quiet. I barely know they are on, except when I open the door and am shocked by how hot it is outside. My tenants gave me positive feedback and have been very happy with the heat pumps. My property still looks like 1930, but it doesn't feel like 1930 anymore! I am very happy with their work and the results. I've recommended So Cal Air to several friends.

From the initial consultation through installation, Menooa and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They also enlarged one of my return air vents to meet the higher airflow needs of the new HVAC system. The work required widening the opening in the ceiling and installing a new return grille. The crew handled it neatly and professionally. When they finished, it looked like new. The new system is working great, airflow is noticeably improved, and the entire project was completed fast and as promised. It's not often that a major home improvement project goes this smoothly. I would recommend So Cal Air to anyone looking for HVAC installation or replacement.

He was easy to talk to and work with. After he went to check out what the issue was, we discussed the options available and he got started as soon as he could. His quote was reasonable and fair. TLDR: my experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare and I would give negative…read morestars if I could. Kevin took $4500 from us, didnt buy any material for the project and didnt do any work. He promised us a refund on text, and then stopped responding and never gave back our money. The most unprofessional and dishonest person I've ever met. On August 25, 2025, my partner and I paid Kevin Lee from let's chill HVAC a 60% deposit for HVAC installation. The invoice did NOT state that deposits were nonrefundable. We paid five days in advance of the agreed start date because he said he needed money to pick up the equipment. By that date, after following up to confirm, he finally responded -- hours later -- that he hadn't picked up any equipment all week and now the warehouse is close for Labor Day weekend. Instead, he tried to upsell us on a different unit than what we originally agreed on, then admitted he didn't have a truck to transport equipment and couldn't perform the job on time regardless. At that point, we asked for a refund to hire a more reliable company. Mind you, we've been without AC for an entire week during the hottest months of august. During this time, he ignored multiple calls and texts from us, but I confirmed through my own Yelp account that he continued responding to new customer inquiries. This shows he was selectively avoiding communication with us. Finally, after 12+ hours, he said he would return only $3,500 of the $4,500 deposit and said that the law allows him to wait 30 days. That deadline has passed, and I have not received the refund despite his written promise. No material was ordered and no work was done and he wants to keep thousands of dollars from us. After talking to other contractors and researching online, under California law (Bus. & Prof. Code §7159.5), contractors are prohibited from requesting or accepting more than 10% of the contract price or $1,000 (whichever is less) as a down payment. So technically, our down payment should've been $750. In this case, the 60% deposit was well above the legal limit so I will report this accordingly. This experience was frustrating and Costly. HVAC is a saturated field so please speak to multiple people and go with someone that's trustworthy. Also, you should always verify a contractor's license status with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) before paying any money because it's illegal to do HVAC work in California without a license.
