Highly recommend Quality Auto! During a trip to Fremont on a Friday night our Toyota refused to start. Quality Auto was the only shop open on Saturday morning on the list AAA gave us. They squeezed us in promptly, diagnosed a defective starter, got the part, and had the car repaired at a reasonable cost within three hours. Through the whole process they were very friendly and accommodating. Had it not been for them we would not have gotten home until the following Monday! read more

My car overheated on the freeway and I had to call my insurance to tow my car to this shop. They helped me fix my coolant and gave my car an oil change. QualityAuto's owner and employees took care of my issue quickly and efficiently. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

I have taken my car to David for the oil change and smog check for the last couple of years. I have been very happy with the service and price as he never overcharges and suggests other unnecessary services to milk out the customer. Nowadays, there are very few honored auto repair shops out there that we could trust. Highly recommend this shop. read more

These guys are great! Well priced and honest. Took care of our smog check and oil change in 45 Min, and let us use the loaner van while they did the service. Sean is very helpful and I highly recommend coming here. We will be back! read more

When I needded my auto body repaired, many of my friends recommended QualityAuto to me. David at QualityAuto is an honest man. He gave a reasonable price and repaired my car timely. His work is excellent, I am glad I could find him to repair my car within my budget and fulfilled my requirements. I will like to come again if any future needs. read more

The owner is very responsible and kept notifying me the process of repairing and the estimation time. I got my car back on time and felt the alignment was not accurate and he asked me to send me back the car and asked people to adjust the alignment for me as soon a I arrived the body shop and let me get my car back after just 1 hour in case I don't have car back home. 5-star recommended service!! read more

If I can, I will give negative stars. I got my car in to get the radiator replaced due to leaking and got the spark plug set (including the cap and wire) replaced before moving to Concord, CA. My car was misfired and the temperature went up and down. After taking my car to the mechanics, I was told the radiator was leaking again due to cheap parts used and the spark plug set also needed replaced due to again cheap parts used. I will never ever recommend this shop to anyone although those guys pretended to be very friendly. read more

Came in for the 100K maintenance services. Very competitive price. We were provided with a detailed list of all service items, and an inspection report with pictures of the parts (battery, air filters, brakes etc) that need services after we dropped off the vehicle. Super transparent and we were informed of the progress along the way. They also addressed other issues we were having with the vehicle. Very flexible in dropping off and picking up as well. Thank you for taking care of us, David and Amor! Highly recommended! read more

The radiator fan controller failed on my 2005 Toyota Sienna on the way from Sunnyvale to my parents' place in Alameda, which caused my engine to overheat. AAA had me towed to the closest shop, which was QualityAuto. They were able to look at my car right away as soon as they opened. I was nervous about taking my car to a shop I don't have a relationship with, but I didn't really have a choice. I'm really glad they took me here! First and foremost, David (the guy managing the place), is awesome! He was incredibly communicative, totally transparent, and gave me regular updates all the way through the repair. There wasn't any noticeable markup on parts (I literally cross-checked with Toyota's parts department) and the labor took pretty much exactly the amount of time he quoted. I'm a bit mechanically inclined (rebuilt an engine myself once) and David was nice enough to take the time to give me the raw details of all the work they did and even saved all the parts that were replaced for me to look at. Unfortunately, the repair ended up being rather expensive (both head gaskets were blown and the knock sensors literally melted), but they had it completely repaired in under a week. Overall, the great customer service made it much easier for me swallow the overall cost of the repair. Even got a nice discount on labor for being an AAA member :) I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family! read more

I came for smog check but I just couldn't believe that oil change with synthetic blend only costs $20 with a coupon. I don't think any local shops can compete against it. Unlike other shops QualityAuto's waiting room is big and its bathroom is clean. The owner is an honest guy. The price quote is clear and straightforward, absolute no hidden fee. This is my first time here and I am already impressed. read more

这个车库的工作人员非常专业和敬业！ 他们在维护的特定方面为客户提供适当的服务； 不仅如此，他们还为客户提供详细的维修信息和维修报告。 The staff of this garage are very professional and dedicated! They provide appropriate service to customers in specific aspects of maintenance; Not only that, they also provide customers with detailed repair information and repair reports. Very good! read more

Either their website is broken, or they ignore it. I suspect the latter. I requested an oil change appointment through their website's Request Service form. Come in, find out they recorded no such appointment. Tell me I have to wait 45 minutes for an oil change. The whole reason for booking an appointment is to not waste chunks of my time...to which the guy just shrugged! Apparently my time is not valued here. Neither is my business, so I'll take it elsewhere. Price is good. Service, when done, is decent. But seriously. It's 2019 and you ignore appointments made through your OWN website? read more

Went for a transmission flush front desk guy was helpful and customer oriented. Only thing I paid for transmission flush and not a transmission drain. Obviously transmission drain ( service) is cheaper because they don't have to use a machine to flush. I was observing while they worked on my car and realized they were not using a transmission flush machine. I asked the front desk guy, why they're not using a machine to take out the fluid. According to front desk guy their transmission flush machine was broken and they just did a drain only. I accepted it because I had no time plus they drained the trans fluid already. They need to inform the customer about it before they start the work on the car and be honest about. read more

You wouldn't refuse Customer 3 time. Why you even promote your business if cannot handle large volumes. I visit 3 time this repair shop I didn't get service done. Still owner arguing on Yelp. Not recommended. I would post 0 start if would. read more

My car was brought there last july for a/c problem. The passenger side is blowing hot air. It was "fixed" according to them and I paid $300 something and got the receipt. Lo and behold after 3 months, the same problem came back. Brought back the car to them for warranty and thats where the problem started. We neglected to check the receipt. It states there that it was the drivers side vent they fixed (although theres nothing wrong with it) and not the passenger. Now they tell me I have to pay for the repair on the passenger side which was the original problem all along. They said that for three months everything was OK and that was it. I was asking the guy about their warranty and they said in only covers for the driver side job. This blew me off. I asked him why did they fix something that is not broken? Didn't they check first before fixing? This auto shop is shady at best. I ended up getting my car back and bring it to somewhere else to be fixed properly. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anybody. They are rude!! read more

Responsibility and hustling are the most important things to me. I went on a late Saturday morning. David checked the passenger's door where my molding was broken off, and he took some pictures. I left within ten minutes and another two hours later I got an voicemail from David telling me the estimated cost of the parts and labor. On Monday morning, David let me know that the parts have been ordered. First thing on Wednesday morning Luis called and scheduled the installation in the late afternoon of Thursday after my dental appointment. Mr. Huang was the one working on the parts. He has been working in the shop for over eight years. I have no doubts of his experience as well as the professionalism of the team. Everyone is wearing the uniform with their name on it. The shop is big, with at least eight spots inside the shop if I remember it right. Plenty of parking spots outside. Luis has kept the reception room organized. One of my neighbors recommended this shop to me. I'd definitely recommend my friends to come over. read more

$20.64 for an oil change without an additional charge for topping off the coolant in 2018? I'll definitely be doing further business here!

Man this should be your goto place to get the work done for your car with excellent services and unbeatable price! If you are tired of people that only care about your money and selling you stuff at the dealer, this is the destination to go. Also technicians are very honest and knowledgable to answer your questions and concerns about your car. read more

I couldn't be more satisfied with any car repairs than QualityAuto! David was really helpful on picking out the right tire for my car with the best special price possible! Good price and friendly service! I Called right before they closed and they asked me to come in. I showed them the Groupon for oil change and they gladly accepted it without asking any questions for appointment as stated in the Groupon. I was out in 30 min. The shop looks clean and huge with 8 car repair lots and seems like their price is very good too. I will go back to this store for my future car maintenance and repair work for sure. read more

My cars battery had died and AAA jumped it but said it needed to be fully recharged to be a able to keep starting up. They recommended QualityAuto so I called and they were able to get me in right away. The shop is nice and clean with lots of places to sit and bathroom for customers. Very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend them. read more

After AAA jumped started my batter, was told battery needed full recharge. He recommended I take the car to Quality Auto on Centralmont in Fremont, a AAA authorized dealer. I took the car and the owner David is very friendly, accommodating as well as his staff. I went back couple hours later, the car was ready. David said they also double check everything to make sure is okay. This is a complimentary service and I did get an exceptional service. Thank you David and your staff. Greatly appreciated. read more

I went to Toyota dealer and other garages to fix a enduring problem in my RV4's exhaust system. $2000 more has already been spent but the problem comes back once again. I really did not know what to do until I came to this garage, who really fixed the problem once for all. Thanks! read more

They also send you an email on your car inspection for you to look over. read more

Came in for a smog, wheel balance and alignment. They let me come into their garage to show me what they working on. Great place, honest, honors coupons, does great work, fast; nice waiting area with desk, coffee and TV.

Best place to have your work done! Always great service and technicians with a lot of knowledge to get you back on the road safely.

I have been going to this place for couple years. Amor is the best. But not the other front desk guy. I am still confuse who is the owner, and who can I trust. I was told that I could use competitor coupon and they would beat it. But when I scheduled appointment through email. The reply was NO. Asked me to go to the coupon store. Feel very bad because I have been trusting them for years and referred so many friends. But end up rejected by a new guy? (OK, I am not sure.) I think, may be, the ownership is changing... Anyway, no longer a nice place to go. read more

I think this will be my go-to place for all my car care needs. QualityAuto were upfront with the cost of the services I came for, giving me a quote before performing them. I just told them the make and model of my car, and they were able to quickly pull up the kind of product and service it needed. Tip: Call ahead and make an appointment first, because they seem to be so popular that they're too busy to see walk-ins. read more

Just found out about this shop it's only a few minutes away from my house. The service was great and Shawn was very knowledgeable in helping me diagnose and fix my car. After the maintenance they emailed me a transcript about what was checked and also attached photos - something I've never experienced before...an added bonus. I'll definitely be coming back for future maintenance. Thanks again. read more
