If I can, I will give negative stars. I got my car in to get the radiator replaced due to leaking and got the spark plug set (including the cap and wire) replaced before moving to Concord, CA. My car was misfired and the temperature went up and down. After taking my car to the mechanics, I was told the radiator was leaking again due to cheap parts used and the spark plug set also needed replaced due to again cheap parts used. I will never ever recommend this shop to anyone although those guys pretended to be very friendly. read more

Good, honest shop with local team of guys. They tell you straight if you can get more miles out of a part or if it's dead. They'll compare part prices and find you the best deal and are consistently friendly and efficient with their work. They know me pretty well at this point after dozens of oil changes, alignments, changing brake pads, rotors, fluids, taking apart my door to fix a window with a broken hardware, check engine lights, air filters, dead battery, etc. Like I said, good shop and my go to place to maintain my Chevy while putting 30k/yr of miles into it with Bay Area commute and trips around CA. They do a $19.95 oil change deal with coupons coming in that big envelope clump with 30 other coupons from local places so watch for it and use it to save a little if you're like me doing oil changes every 2mo. The radiator fan controller failed on my 2005 Toyota Sienna on the way from Sunnyvale to my parents' place in Alameda, which caused my engine to overheat. AAA had me towed to the closest shop, which was QualityAuto. They were able to look at my car right away as soon as they opened. I was nervous about taking my car to a shop I don't have a relationship with, but I didn't really have a choice. I'm really glad they took me here! First and foremost, David (the guy managing the place), is awesome! He was incredibly communicative, totally transparent, and gave me regular updates all the way through the repair. There wasn't any noticeable markup on parts (I literally cross-checked with Toyota's parts department) and the labor took pretty much exactly the amount of time he quoted. I'm a bit mechanically inclined (rebuilt an engine myself once) and David was nice enough to take the time to give me the raw details of all the work they did and even saved all the parts that were replaced for me to look at. Unfortunately, the repair ended up being rather expensive (both head gaskets were blown and the knock sensors literally melted), but they had it completely repaired in under a week. Overall, the great customer service made it much easier for me swallow the overall cost of the repair. Even got a nice discount on labor for being an AAA member :) I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family! read more

Come in, find out they recorded no such appointment. Tell me I have to wait 45 minutes for an oil change. The whole reason for booking an appointment is to not waste chunks of my time...to which the guy just shrugged! Apparently my time is not valued here. Went for a transmission flush front desk guy was helpful and customer oriented. Only thing I paid for transmission flush and not a transmission drain. Obviously transmission drain ( service) is cheaper because they don't have to use a machine to flush. I was observing while they worked on my car and realized they were not using a transmission flush machine. I asked the front desk guy, why they're not using a machine to take out the fluid. According to front desk guy their transmission flush machine was broken and they just did a drain only. I accepted it because I had no time plus they drained the trans fluid already. They need to inform the customer about it before they start the work on the car and be honest about. read more

My car was brought there last july for a/c problem. The passenger side is blowing hot air. It was "fixed" according to them and I paid $300 something and got the receipt. Lo and behold after 3 months, the same problem came back. Brought back the car to them for warranty and thats where the problem started. We neglected to check the receipt. It states there that it was the drivers side vent they fixed (although theres nothing wrong with it) and not the passenger. Now they tell me I have to pay for the repair on the passenger side which was the original problem all along. They said that for three months everything was OK and that was it. I was asking the guy about their warranty and they said in only covers for the driver side job. This blew me off. I asked him why did they fix something that is not broken? Didn't they check first before fixing? This auto shop is shady at best. I ended up getting my car back and bring it to somewhere else to be fixed properly. I wouldn't recommend this shop to anybody. Responsibility and hustling are the most important things to me. I went on a late Saturday morning. David checked the passenger's door where my molding was broken off, and he took some pictures. I left within ten minutes and another two hours later I got an voicemail from David telling me the estimated cost of the parts and labor. On Monday morning, David let me know that the parts have been ordered. First thing on Wednesday morning Luis called and scheduled the installation in the late afternoon of Thursday after my dental appointment. Mr. Huang was the one working on the parts. He has been working in the shop for over eight years. I have no doubts of his experience as well as the professionalism of the team. Everyone is wearing the uniform with their name on it. The shop is big, with at least eight spots inside the shop if I remember it right. Plenty of parking spots outside. Luis has kept the reception room organized. One of my neighbors recommended this shop to me. I'd definitely recommend my friends to come over. read more
