I normally get a massage at my chiropractor, but they were fully booked for days. I found this place nearby by and gave it a try due to the reviews on Google and the price. I should have known better. It's in a run down strip mall area of SB. The first warning was the double bared doors when you enter. It was very creepy. They make you pay before the massage. I paid by card $40 for 30 minutes. 2 guys came in after me and they were trying to push me to the back of the building quickly. They put me in this small back room which smelled weird. I informed the lady that I needed my neck muscles massaged only. She told me to remove my top & bra, but didn't give me anything to cover up with or she didn't walk out while I changed. The massage was okay, but I couldn't relax because it was so creepy in there. I kept waiting for some guy to start moaning in the next room. It had that vibe. She also kept reaching down and snapping my panties. I kept telling her my neck only but she kept doing it. Gross!!! The thing that really upset me was I gave her a $4 tip with cash on the way out. Then the next day my husband told me that they charged my card an additional $6. That place was so creepy that I didn't want to go back to dispute it. Beware that they over charge your card.

My masseuse was Lili and she did a great job. She could tell how tense my body was and applied the right amount of pressure, but still asked if I was comfortable. She didn't skimp on the service at all, she made me feel so comfortable I didn't care that I was naked, lol. I left feeling so much better, my 3 week headache went away and my left shoulder that's been bothering me for a month felt 90% better. I'll definitely be returning at least once a month because Lili gives you bang for buck and I feel my body is circulating blood properly now. You can use your card to pay, but I recommend bringing cash for the tip.

My husband's thoughts and review : 34 yr old male, never had a massage and doesn't really understand why he waited so long for this. They really worked on his legs and helped alleviate his Charlie horses he experiences with a focus on his TMJ and sore neck from previous accident. A man that can't even let his wife massage him was comfortable enough to endure a full 1 hr deep tissue massage from summer. He is excited and expecting to return bi weekly if not monthly!! My thoughts:I sit at a desk all day and then commute on the 91 daily so my hips and neck are tight, I look like Batman fr I love to how sweet and comforting MJ was and how she was able to work out all the kinks in my shoulders and neck and upper back/ arm area while stretching my hips in a way that allowed my pelvic to fully relax and reset !!absolutely incredible work 100/10 will definitely be returning with my husband soon!!

A friendly therapist and a professional massage, but a very dirty and smelly environment that…read moreprevented me from relaxing. First of all, the massage itself from Jesse was solid and professional. Based on his technique, I can tell that he was professionally trained in massage school (his certification is displayed in the room). Also, he even asked me what areas I'd like him to focus on which was a plus. Calling for an appointment was easy with him; he immediately accommodated me same-day on his schedule and was happy to answer any questions I had. When I met him for the first time, he politely greeted me and led me into the massage room. ... And that's when things got bad; the old, musty smell from the room hit me like a freight train. NEVER have I seen nor smelled such poor maintenance in a massage room. Ever. The carpet appeared to have not been vacuumed nor cleaned in ages (specks of debris scattered throughout). It may not seem that bad in the photos, but in-person you notice everything. It smelled like an old, unventilated storage closet with dirt and sweat. This was a major turn off for me in terms of my comfort and relaxation. It would have done wonders to even just open a window to let fresh air in. There was, however, an air-conditioner running which was old and humming loudly, adding further to my disgust. Overall, a solid massage and top-notch customer service from a friendly therapist. If only that level of professionalism was reflected in the cleanliness of the environment.
