A friendly therapist and a professional massage, but a very dirty and smelly environment that…read moreprevented me from relaxing. First of all, the massage itself from Jesse was solid and professional. Based on his technique, I can tell that he was professionally trained in massage school (his certification is displayed in the room). Also, he even asked me what areas I'd like him to focus on which was a plus. Calling for an appointment was easy with him; he immediately accommodated me same-day on his schedule and was happy to answer any questions I had. When I met him for the first time, he politely greeted me and led me into the massage room. ... And that's when things got bad; the old, musty smell from the room hit me like a freight train. NEVER have I seen nor smelled such poor maintenance in a massage room. Ever. The carpet appeared to have not been vacuumed nor cleaned in ages (specks of debris scattered throughout). It may not seem that bad in the photos, but in-person you notice everything. It smelled like an old, unventilated storage closet with dirt and sweat. This was a major turn off for me in terms of my comfort and relaxation. It would have done wonders to even just open a window to let fresh air in. There was, however, an air-conditioner running which was old and humming loudly, adding further to my disgust. Overall, a solid massage and top-notch customer service from a friendly therapist. If only that level of professionalism was reflected in the cleanliness of the environment.

That is where the entrance is, you can't see it from the street. Once you find it, it seems like a very quaint establishment - a very simple room with a massage table and not much in the way of decor. I was not expecting to get the best massage of my life there, but that's totally what I got! So awesome! As the previous reviewer said, his hands are magic. I can't wait for my next visit!

I normally get a massage at my chiropractor, but they were fully booked for days. I found this place nearby by and gave it a try due to the reviews on Google and the price. I should have known better. It's in a run down strip mall area of SB. The first warning was the double bared doors when you enter. It was very creepy. They make you pay before the massage. I paid by card $40 for 30 minutes. 2 guys came in after me and they were trying to push me to the back of the building quickly. They put me in this small back room which smelled weird. I informed the lady that I needed my neck muscles massaged only. She told me to remove my top & bra, but didn't give me anything to cover up with or she didn't walk out while I changed. The massage was okay, but I couldn't relax because it was so creepy in there. I kept waiting for some guy to start moaning in the next room. It had that vibe. She also kept reaching down and snapping my panties. I kept telling her my neck only but she kept doing it. Gross!!! The thing that really upset me was I gave her a $4 tip with cash on the way out. Then the next day my husband told me that they charged my card an additional $6. That place was so creepy that I didn't want to go back to dispute it. Beware that they over charge your card.

She went last night and had her first appointment with Jeremiah. She has chronic pain due to depression, anxiety, and a variety of other health concerns. Jeremiah set the tone by asking what her goals were for her massage, and allowing her to completely feel whatever she needed to feel while he worked on her pain through out her body. She spoke highly of the facility, the staff, and the care that was taken on her visit. I want to thank the staff and Jeremiah for having my daughter in such good hands and care. The trust this establishment cultivated with her was enough for me to know they care. Truly care. I'll be making an appointment for myself in the near future as I myself have fibromyalgia and deal with a great deal of pain myself.

Lily is the complete opposite of that. She doesn't just massage you. She studies your body while she's working and somehow finds the actual source of the pain, tension, or imbalance instead of just rubbing where it hurts. There have been so many times I walked in with neck pain or lower back tightness, and she traced it back to completely different areas that were causing everything to flare up. That's what separates her from everyone else I've been to. Nothing feels scripted or routine. She tailors every session to exactly what your body needs that day. You can tell she genuinely understands muscle tension and body mechanics on a deeper level than a typical massage place. I see her once a month now and it's become something I genuinely look forward to because I know I'm going to walk out feeling like my body got reset. Not just relaxed for an hour...actually better. This is real therapeutic body work. The kind that makes you realize how much pain and tension you've been carrying around without noticing.

An Oasis for Journey Work and Massage My early morning…read moreJourney with Rev Pamela was well planned and facilitated. I'm at a transition in my livelihood and she was able to craft an experience to bring clarity, direction, and momentum. Knowing that integration begins in the body, I had body and energy work from Isca to relax and revitalize afterwards. She has exceptional presence in her hands for both massage and energy. She is not intrusive or chatty while giving a treatment and her pressure is invitational to the muscles. It started with a meeting with Pam and Isca to explain the chakra we would be focusing on and set my intentions for the session. I then experienced a magical massage by Isca that was both relaxing and strengthening. Next was an enchanting labyrinth walk and guided meditation followed by a nourishing tea ceremony where I sipped delicious chakra-specific tea and reflected on my journey. This was not just a treatment for my body, but also for my soul. Taking self-care to a new level. I am looking forward to my next session and further workshops and experiences at this wondrous new space in the mountains.
