Overall I've had a great experience here, it's a short and quick class at only 12 weeks but I definitely feel prepared to take my EPA and get ready to work in the field, lots of hands on like Brazing and learning Recovery and Recharge. I'd recommend this over comparable programs seeing as you can get to work earlier and regardless if you take this 3 month course or a 12 month you're still starting as Tech 1 or install, these courses are preparation for what will be learned over the years, the learning never stops.

I have just finished the 12 week HVAC class and am surprised by how much i actually learned in that short period! Im REALLY glad i didnt take one of those year or two classes. I am now back for REFRIGERATION class and am enjoying it! They provide some basic tools to keep, LOTS AND LOTS of hands on training. Well recognized school to lots of employers ive talked to already. Ive also got my UNIVERSAL EPA certification from this school. One stop shop.

Is this a free technical training or will you have to take out loans?

There is very affordable financing available , payment plans and for some students, state grants. 👍

I've learned a lot of new things that will not only help me with HVAC but other things in general like basic electrical & motors.

Anybody who's been interested in secondary education during this epidemic knows how hard it is to…read moremake it work. NTI makes it happen. I was a reinforcing ironworkers apprentice for 416. Awesome job right? Wrong. Sure they pay was great and there were amazing benefits too but the people and culture are absolutely terrible. I found myself in a position where I loved my work but absolutely hated my job. I knew I had to get out so when we inevitably got laid off due to Covid, I applied for and received a grant through DETR that is specifically designed for adults who want to change careers. I didn't look back. I knew I liked and wanted to work with my hands, I knew I couldn't be stationary and the added bonus of running diagnostics made HVAC on an obvious choice. NTI was the superior choice among the HVAC programs covered by the grant. In comparison to all, it should really be the only one. I took the hybrid course (20 chapters online and 5 weeks in person). They have awesome facilities and a bunch of different equipment for you to tinker with and learn all the ins and outs. The front staff is awesome as I'm sure are the other instructors but Adam (the instructor I had) is the shit. He legitimately cares if you understood the material and what's happening in the systems. He'll come in early before class to work with you if you're struggling and he'll stay late just the same. Adam is a super cool dude too, he made class really enjoyable because he clearly wasn't there to collect a paycheck and enjoys teaching a trade in which he is an expert. You probably aren't going to believe this but, on the 3rd week of class, during Wednesday's instruction I was reaaaaallly slacking off so ADAM pushed me to do something productive at least. I filled out a job application on indeed for one of the top HVAC companies in town and since I had time, I wrote a good cover letter. I was called the very next morning for an interview! I started work on monday of week 4! Two weeks BEFORE graduation.... Now I make waaaaay more than I did ironworking and it's significantly easier. Guys it won't be easy and it'll take a lot of work but if you want to better yourself you must CREATE YOU'RE OWN PATH and take control of your life. Set a goal and commit head first.

The staff…read moreconsistently fail to advocate for students, show little accountability, and appear far more interested in collecting tuition than supporting education. The Respiratory Therapy program is especially disappointing and clearly in need of major restructuring Many instructors are disengaged, unapproachable, and outright rude to students including Concerns are routinely ignored, communication is poor, and leadership is essentially absent. A large portion of staff seem disconnected from both students Multiple clinical sites have openly expressed negative experiences with this school and its faculty staff and embarrassing reflection of how the program is run. For the cost of tuition, the facilities are unacceptable. The building is small, outdated, and not remotely worth what students are paying. Students feel unsupported, unheard, and misled about what this program actually offers. There is a widespread lack of professionalism, and serious rumors about inappropriate behavior circulate due to the absence of transparency and accountability

Throughout my time here, I witnessed many positive changes that directly benefited students and enhanced our learning experience. The faculty has been incredibly supportive, advocating for students' concerns while maintaining transparency and accountability. They provided the necessary resources for those willing to take initiative in their education and seek help when needed. Dean Green, in particular, actively listened to our feedback as nursing students and implemented meaningful changes that improved the program. The instructors were dedicated to our success, guiding us through complex nursing concepts and ensuring we were well-prepared for clinical practice. Hands-on experience in both the skills lab and clinical rotations was invaluable, allowing us to apply what we learned in real-world healthcare settings. These experiences truly reinforced our critical thinking and patient care skills. Overall, my time here was a transformative journey, and I am grateful for the education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences that have prepared me to begin my career as a nurse. For students who are committed to their success, this program provides the tools and support needed to excel. I've made long-lasting relationships with faculty, and students from different terms and programs and look forward to staying in touch :)

I was lucky enough to work for Golden Gate Casino until life brought me to California.  I've been here a short time now.  Yesterday I auditioned for the new Hard Rock Casino in Tejon, they hired me on the spot.  Thank you for our time together and the education to help me land two Casino jobs.

I can honestly say Alex is a FANTASTIC teacher who really just wants you to succeed. He works really hard to help you get all the tools and training you need. It's on you to practice and get better. during the time of my schooling, I had just learned Blackjack proficiently and decided to go for an audition at El Cortez. Unfortunately, they told me they were full on blackjack dealers, but they can REALLY use dice dealers. Alex worked with me and helped me get better at the math and practicing with units. He gave me chips to practice my cutting and told me to come back whenever I want as often as I want but practicing at home too would be crucial for faster success. He was very honest saying it takes about 6 weeks to be proficient in craps and I appreciated his honesty and directness. I kept practicing, but my 5th week in my teaching job opened up and I took that job. Alex has ALWAYS invited me back to finish up the package I paid for even though I declined. He really wanted me to continue to have something to fall back on and invited me back on numerous occasions to finish training. I firmly believe he is THE BEST ISNTRUCTOR in Vegas and really just wants to see people succeed and get better. Even at this location 7 years ago, the other students also learning were sharing horror stories of other school not helping, not coaching, and pairing you up with other trainees that didn't know what they were doing. I never EVER felt this at CEG, I always had personal coaching every minute I was there from him or another professional, and everyone there would go out of their way to help you succeed. Alex is the best man for the job. I firmly believe he wouldn't do business with anyone that didn't share his passion to help others and am glad to see him pair with Casino Quest staff. I'm DAMN SURE his vision is shared by everyone he works with. I'd bet the farm on it. He's an outstanding coach and person, and this was 8 years ago before they even got "big"!
