I was shockingly informed that the Inspector CE classes I took online, and received my 2-year CEs to renew my license, were audited and determined to be not approved via the Real Estate Division Are you kidding me???!!! We had to sit through 2 different weekends, 5 hours a day to find out that this company's classes are complete BS. Then when I reached out to get them to try and work out exceptions based on their screw-ups, they don't offer ANY help whatsoever. So to summarize, their products won't stand up to Real Estate Division requirements, they don't take any account for the SIGNIFICANT PROBLEMS they caused all of the inspectors who were in that class, and they won't provide any help whatsoever. If I could give them 0 stars that would be too much. Any 5 year old kid could run a company better than Key Realty does. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS POSSIBLE!!!! read more

I enrolled in Key Realty School's online real estate program and have been disappointed with both the organization of the course and the customer service. The online platform is confusing and difficult to navigate compared to other schools I've attended, including Gold Coast and Kaplan. Whenever I've called with questions, I often felt rushed, interrupted, or spoken to in a condescending manner. Most recently, I called with a simple fingerprinting question and spent nearly 20 minutes on the phone without getting a clear answer. The representative told me she normally doesn't handle those questions but didn't offer to transfer me to someone who could help. As a paying student, I expected a more professional and supportive experience. Unfortunately, customer service has been the weakest part of the program. read more

I have been working with key school since 2022 and I have always had the best experience. Today I spoke with Tamara and she was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely helpful, she took her time and explained everything and I was truly pleased. However, Allison was extremely rude. Very disrespectful not helpful at all. My review was drafted in parts every few weeks during my experience (took many months of studying). Finally finished it now that I completed my courses. Admissions: The sign up was easy and didn't take too long at all. Study Options: I choose the Home Study / Online course, not only because it's at your own pace but it costs less and apparently covers everything that the in-person classes offer. Studies / Materials: I received a soft cover thick textbook and another booklet that was almost like a second textbook in a binder. I also received access to many audio and video files of pre-recorded classes. The only part of the instructions that threw me off was that the guidance for selecting the online files / subject folders were not organized well or lets say set the tone for a confusing flow. What I felt in the admissions office as being simple to follow, really wasn't when I got down on my laptop to start.... Not as concise as the actual written instructions verbatim. It ended up being sort of vague. Online files: The audio files seem discouraging to listen to as the instructor they chose (at times) sounded tired and stumbled over words... lol. Just get through that part and everything will be totally fine, as I found later on that everything he said was pretty much supported with pdf files so nothing was missed just annoying to not be able to hear some of the words and having to constantly rewind. The video files that you do last at least gives you an option for the instructors. I highly recommend choosing Robin for the first set of pre-recorded class and for the rest, their teaching style and energy is the best. For the other classes that she doesn't teach then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jim! OVERALL: I recommend paying for the in-person classes even though one might be tempted by the lesser cost and convenience of not driving... but Trust Me you will get through it faster and be able to ask the instructor questions to get answers right away. The rest of my review is for is constructive criticism for the school to redo their website for the online students or reorganize it somehow. In the end I got what I needed from this school even though I wish I would've chosen in-person classes to finish much faster without out these other issues with home study. I immediately scheduled my national & state exam a couple days after I finished here. Happy to say that I passed both my psi exams on the first try!! read more

Andrew Larson's property management class is one of the best real estate classes I think I have ever taken. He is part instructor and part DJ and snuck a great amount of detailed learning into our structured class activities. Property management is a broad topic with a lot of material to cover. Now that I've taken his class, I feel very confident at how to continue to study and prepare for the exam. Having him as my Key Realty instructor is critical for my preparation. He gave us time to talk together and ask group questions so we could better probe and understand the complexities of relevant laws and regulations, and a surprising amount of networking ensued at the end of the class thanks to the environment our instructor created for us. Erica is the BEST!!! Anytime I call and get Erica on the other end of the line she is always chipper and upbeat. I can be a bit inquisitive at times and she is always patient with me. I get nervous about making sure I have the correct amount of continuing education for the licenses I hold and she never gets short or frustrated with me. She makes me feel valued. There are so many people in customer service nowadays that have no business in that position. That definitely doesn't apply to Erica. I wish someone like her was on the end of every customer service related call I ever have to make throughout a day. My life would be far more pleasant than it usually is dealing with people in that line of work. They just cut me off. I was tryna log in on zoom. 5 minutes late. It said instructor would let me in so I waited and waited. Left room and tried again and it said it was locked. And they told me I had to reschedule and won't let me in. Now they just messed up my whole schedule cause the other days they offer this course, conflicts with my schedule. I don't have availability. the instructor was late at the 9am course this morning not a problem for me. But I just got screwed over and I am not happy. Key Realty is the best Realty school in my opinion. They have the best resources and the best instructors and I can say that because I can compare to other schools. Even my father in law who took the brokers course spoke highly of Key when he compared the school he went to with Key. From all the materials and the ease of navigating the online courses and having access to information is amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful, you just gotta ask and they will explain everything and they offer so many different ways you can achieve your real estate goals no matter what situation you are in from in class to zoom to online or book on your own. Some of the instructors are way faster then others and some slower but you can take the classes as many times as you need to do it all works out. Prices are very reasonable my wife and her whole entire property mang company attend this school for their real estate license. Key Realty is my go to for CE courses. They make enrollment easy especially with the coupon deals! Jimmy Dague is my favorite teacher but Andrew Larson was very good as well. Jimmy keeps me engaged and I love that he shares books/sayings/experiences that make everything realtime. Andrew Larson had a different approach and generated a lot of dialogue as well. I am extremely upset with this school! I signed up for my class on Feb 28 and cancelled my class on March 26. I didn't take ONE class and returned books that were BRAND NEW and unused. I was supposed to be charged a 10% fee which is $44! (Still rodiclubut I was charged WAY MORE! I paid $440 and was only refunded $297!!!!! This is ridiculous!!!!!! This establishment STOLE my money and now I am having to reach out to find out where the rest of my funds are. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Update: they apologized and refunded me all my money. My experience with Key Realty was very disappointing. The instructor sounds like a slum lord and kept complaining about his tenants. Based on his political comments, the class knew where he stood, and we'd all turn our heads to look at each other in disbelief. The comments were rude with a prejudiced undertone. No one in the class said anything, including myself, because I still had to come back the following days and didn't want to deal with that level of uncomfortability, but I'm glad one of the students who was taking the class via Zoom spoke out and shut him up, at least a bit. The lady who answered was super rude and condescending. She kept referencing an email that I never received and talked to me like I was an idiot. If the email was sent, it hit my spam, which has since been emptied. And if Key Realty School emails are going to people's spam folders, they should be aware of it and understanding.
