I'd give a zero if I could. Boot prints in the plaster. Zero help with warranty issues. Installed a pentair system but gave me a salt cell off the internet so its not covered in the 3 year warranty. After you 50k you expect perfessional work. Gapping holes around the jets and they will not adjust. I was told not to call the company anymore even though they are the builders and I have 2 more years on my warranty. read more

Paying for weekly pool maintenance, this is a vacation home for us. Came out today (for a whole 5 minutes) and did not add any water in which it was in need of due to level getting low. We were here so we added it ourselves. Called their office to make sure that they do add water as part of the weekly maintenance schedule while we are not in town. Woman who answered was sooooooo rude. Basically said if you aren't happy with us, go elsewhere...........SO WE DID! No way would I trust them to properly maintain the pool while we are not present. read more

1. start with the false statement in their name "landscape" - they don't landscape. 2. once they receive their final payment - game over, they dont return calls. 3. they leave an absolute mess of your property, $13,659 in repairs to my property. 4. I have the pool less than one season, I call b/c the filter is not working; the receptionist says " I'll send a message to service dept, TY and she is about to hang up - I say, Wait - do you want my name and contact info? We were ready to have a pool installed and spoke with many companies and received many estimates. We decided to go with Quality Pools because the designer pointed out something about our yard that no other pool companies did. She was very concerned about our overhead electrical line. I even asked another company specifically about it and he told me that it was not a problem. Long story short, called the electric company and it was a problem, the line needed to be 10 ft from the pool. Our installation was not to begin until June. They started the middle of May and our pool was complete by July 1st. We had a few issues but the staff was always willing to work with us and remedy the situation. Pool started 7/22 and 7/23 still not finished. Numerous problems. Calls and excuses are the way this company works. Never consistent with follow up. I kept a continuous journal from the beginning of construction until the present of all the issues and any activity in or around the pool. All we get is lip service or an email from the owner. We had a warranty service call to replace a light sent to Quality from Pentair. They were more prompt than I would have expected coming out in just a couple days. The issue is the service that I got. Our installed lights have a few bends in the conduit making it hard to install them unless the retrieving line is tied to the light coming out. In this case that wasn't done, and it was clearly difficult to push the metal fish-tape through the conduit. I walked to the back of the pool and the tech was ramming the fish-tape into the conduit with 2 hands REALLY hard, evidently thinking that would navigate the bends! I had to yell to "STOP YOU'RE GOING TO BREAK THE PLASTIC PIPING UNDER THE CONCRETE". I ended up installing the light myself by simply putting a rubber tip on the fish-tape to help navigate the bends. How could anyone could think that ramming away was okay or would work is beyond me. Thankfully I was here to stop the madness. I don't recommend this company. read more

The lack of communication has been the main issue. We have been trying to notify the Quality of some issues that we are having. However, the owner, vice president, Roy and staff have been unprofessional in communication and follow-up process. We have spent and estimate of $80,000.00. The issues: Leake near the spa, some pavers settling around the pool, the bottom surface of the pool is not level, making it difficult to clean properly, resurfacing the damaged area, and finishing touches around the bottom layer of the top pavers of the raised spa. They all keep keeps giving me the runaround. I would like some answers as far as what is going to be done and when. I would like to know what we can do to get this resolved in a timely manner because we have been dealing with this for the last 12 months. read more

We called Quality Pool to refurbish our pool deck. We sent a copy of our lot survey as requested and have been unable to get a call back to messages left since October 2021. We were ready to have the work done. Seems they aren't even answering our phone calls anymore. If they didn't want to or couldn't do the job, all they had to do was say so. Every time I was told " I will give them the message" All they had to do was give me a call back and set up a time to come look at my pool ( needs lots of work ) But I guess this is a small job for them even thought they don't know how much work is involved. I highly recommend Quality Pools. After looking at several recent pool installations in our neighborhood, we determined that Quality Pools provided the design, customization and time frame that we needed, within our budget, for this project. The owner came to our house several times with ideas and improvements on our original concept design. Each customer can choose from a selection of colors, materials and pavers so that each pool can be uniquely customized. Because the cost of the pool came under our budget we were able to add on a water heater and palm trees to our finished project. Although Hurricane Florence delayed and complicated the project, their dedicated team was still able to complete the pool within the promised time frame. This company does not forget about the customer after the project is completed and the bill is paid. I still occasionally email them with questions about the pool and they promptly address my issues either via email or by coming out to the house/pool. Bottom line: we are very pleased with our beautiful pool, the waterfalls, the lights, the heated spa tub, the company and their employees! read more

Quality Pools put in our pool 3 years ago and last year the tiles all started falling off the jacuzzi portion of the pool and the pool began to crack all over. When we called them, they said it would be over $5000 to fix the pool. we could not use the warranty since the previous owner had the warranty and we, as new owners, did not. Whatever happened to QUALITY work and standing by that work??? You should be ashamed of yourselves for putting in a pool and it not lasting past 3 years. Additionally, to not fix shoddy work that you did by using a loophole with you warranties is disgusting. read more

We hired them to put in a pool for us and until construction started, all went well. But that changed when we began questioning some of the work that we were not happy with. At that point, the owner got very defensive and refused to correct all but 1 minor thing (out of 8 that we pointed out) saying either "that's the way we do it", or "there's nothing wrong with that", or "we didn't cause that". We didn't even mention some minor imperfections since the more major stuff wasn't getting fixed. Owner very difficult to work with, slow in responding, never admits error or mistakes. I could not ever recommend him to install a pool. Be very wary!! read more

I would never ever recommend Quality Pools. They installed a pool for me in 2015 and the water feature has never worked it has dumped mud in our pool each time we turn it on. We have contacted them continuously for the last two years to correct this issue. We have been blatantly ignored. Recently my husband became ill with a life threatening disease and I tried to appeal to them to please help me as I wanted him to have a stress free summer. I made a phone call and spoke to someone in the office and I also sent a text to the owner and his son. No one bothered to get back to me. I was not asking for anything free I just wanted the job, that I paid for, completed and done right. I have come to the realization that they are completely heartless and not good business men. This is a bad company who does not care about their customers. I will continue to post this and get the word out as much as I can. The next time I see Bill and his son, Drew will be at the Myrtle Beach Home Show where they will have to talk to me. I put my trust in them and I was completely let down. I did not expect it I believed them to be good men. But they couldn't even bother to help a man who is so seriously ill. This cannot be overlooked or forgiven.
