My wife and I spoke with 16 different pool companies in the Myrtle Beach area before choosing Delmar--and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From the very first meeting, their professionalism stood out. We were completely new to pool ownership, and Jesse took the time to walk us through every step--from construction to installation--answering all our questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. That level of care and attention was something no other company provided. Once we selected our pool model, Frank and the installation team were outstanding. They treated our property with respect--no damage to the yard, no issues with landscaping--and kept us fully informed throughout the entire process. We never had to chase them down or wonder what was happening; their communication was proactive and consistent. Now, with the pool in use for about three weeks, we are thrilled with the final result. Beyond the excellent service and craftsmanship, Delmar was also tens of thousands of dollars less than other quotes we received. Usually very calm and quiet in there with the exception of open swim days . They also have a competition pool that is 100 meters. That one is 7 feet all the way across . The therapy pool goes from 3 to 6 feet . Both are heated . Locker room facilities is very nice and clean. They have a full time lady there that just cleans all the locker rooms and bathroom all day. Keeps the floors dry. There are lot of showers with HOT Water and locking dressing rooms also. There are always life guards on staff and they are all friendly. They also have classes for swimming as well as baby floating classes and special needs. I pay 30 a month for unlimited use and I just added my husband for an extra 10 a month. They have day passes also. Definitely check this place out!

I'd heard about the Northside Splash Pad and was excited to check it out, but the first two times we swung by during "open" hours, it actually wasn't open. I guess it was undergoing some repairs, but I never saw any info about that or info about when it finally opened. We've gone three times in the past few weeks and it's perfect for my little guy. Small, contained (if we close the gate), benches and tables to sit at, and enough water fixtures to be fun without being too much for a toddler. Some of them could use some upkeep, but it works well for us. Thrilled to have this other option for a splash pad during this hot summer!
