My wife had brought our official plot plan -- an actual surveyed document of our property -- and was told Melissa "couldn't even talk to her" unless she also had photos of the yard. Not asked for additional info -- told she couldn't proceed at all, despite having the more precise and useful document in hand. My wife called me on the phone during the appointment, and Melissa's rude tone came through clearly even secondhand. I told her directly: based on how she was speaking to my wife, it was obvious she didn't actually want our business. She didn't disagree. Instead she hung up on me. If this is the level of customer service you get just trying to give this company money, I can't imagine what happens once you're a paying customer stuck in a contract with them. Between this experience and the pattern of complaints I've since found from other customers -- surprise fees, contract disputes, and allegations of scrubbed reviews -- we're taking our project elsewhere. Due to poor workmanship, we were forced to empty and refill the pool three times at our own expense, and there is still unfinished plaster work remaining. Communication was also a major issue -- he would disappear for days at a time with no updates while the project sat untouched. Even more concerning was the complete lack of accountability. Every issue was blamed on subcontractors he hired, and instead of taking responsibility, we were asked to "give him a break" because he is young and inexperienced. At this point, due to delays, ongoing issues, and repeated out-of-pocket costs, we are pursuing legal counsel. We strongly caution others before working with this company.

The team from Lux, from receptionist (Janet) to owner (Billy), they have been quick and professional in addressing the issue. No judging just addressing the issue. I was having a concern insuring that the filter "freeze protection" was com ing on. Rich came out and found the system was operating correctly. He then checked the hardware and found there was a sensor that could be better positioned. instead of putting in a work order to have it moved he went and got a replacement part and had everything resolved within an hour.

The problems not discovered continue to be an issue and have cost me a lot of money. Already "called your office" in 2023 and was told "we don't inspect the chimney" and the only recourse was a refund of the inspection fee. That wasn't helpful to me.

Well here we are - no call, not even a "we are checking on it", etc. So obviously I will have to find someone else to help - they have lost any future business and/or referrals from me.
