A guy from the shop asked me did you just have your transmission fluid changed? I replied no. He said it was the cleanest he had ever seen. That's because there was none in it. My transmission went out. My mechanic said no fluid wrecked it. I contacted Scott the owner he blamed my van? So I leased a truck and went to a koo. My customer asked where's your van I told him what happened. He said I brought my truck there they didn't put oil in it and my motor went out. Snappy Lube had to replace it. So I thought I would take them to court. Then I read someone else did and Scott got on a payment plan? That customer said it took forever to get paid back. All said Scott cost me $2,500 to bring it to Snappy Lube for an oil change. Don't be fooled on his website as well look for lowest ratings he has a lot of them folks.

I was looking to get a new remote programmed for my system and was quoted for a whole new system after being told by the manufacturer that any dealer can replace my remote. It took them weeks to actually get my car and system looked at. I then took my system to another dealer who was more than happy to look at my system and quote me for a new remote. auto Xpress needed to see the car in person when the other dealer (Remote start MN/12 volt heaven) was able to determine the type of remote I would need and have me a cost and how long the programming would take. The cost was what he quoted but took significantly less time than quoted which was ideal for my situation. another time we had a fuel tank brought to auto Xpress to he resealed and they outsourced the tank to a place in chaska who lost it. The entire time they lied and were saying they had it in the shop. After about 2 months of waiting we told them to give it back even if it wasn't complete. Overall very disappointed in the service received and trying to be scammed into buying a whole new system.

Valvoline's negligence destroyed my transmission…read more They put the wrong amount of transmission fluid in my vehicle. It's clearly documented on their own invoice. As a result, I had to replace the entire transmission. My insurance, who almost never covers damage caused by auto shop errors, immediately sided with me. That's how obvious Valvoline's mistake was. That's how inept Valvoline is. Insurance covered the replacement, but I'm still out my deductible and rental costs. Valvoline refuses to reimburse. Valvoline also failed to follow proper procedure for performing a transmission fluid change, which directly contributed to the damage. Every shop makes mistakes but ethical businesses take accountability and make it right. Valvoline chose denial, dishonesty, and deflection instead. To make matters worse, the Valvoline manager went to the repair shop where my vehicle was being serviced and attempted to coerce the staff into letting him drain and take the transmission fluid all without my knowledge or consent. The shop refused. Was he trying to destroy evidence? I won't speculate. Read the reviews on Google, Yelp, and the BBB. This isn't an isolated incident. Time and time again, Valvoline damages vehicles and refuses to take responsibility. Quick and cheap can cost you your entire vehicle. Don't make the same mistake I did.

He tried to sell me Transmission service, Rear differential service, Fuel system service and Radiator service. He told me that the LH rear cv axel seal was leaking and it should be repaired. I asked Tyler if they were able to take tips, and he replied yes. I gave Tyler a one hundred bill and told him to buy the guys lunch. if left there 55 minutes later. I made a appointment at the Lexus dealer for the upcoming Thursday on July 9, 2026. When i got off the phone I realized not only did I not get my wheel lock key back, but they never rotatied my tires. I called Valvoline the next morning on July 8th, 2026 and explained to the guy that I needed him to check if he could find my wheel key? He replied (if they didn't give it back to you it's here so come and get it.) After work that day I stopped by to pick it up. I was there for 45 minutes and they couldn't find my wheel key, Tyler said to me (not that I don't trust you, but I need to see in you glove box and in your trunk. Tyler tried to call his manager Dylan for 10-15 minutes but no answer, so I left. Tyler called me about 15 minutes later and said Dylan told him to refund me for the tire rotation and we could call it even, I replied you never rotated my tires, At that point Tyler said he would call me in the morning. The next monring I waited for his call, that never came, so I called him and he said we are really busy, can I call you in 10-20 minutes? I said yes! That was 17 days ago, so I'm thinking they have no intension on replacing my wheel lock key. I will be telling everyone I know about my visit to Valvoline in Elk River. This is the worst tire place I've ever worked with. The first tire blew 3 weeks and 1 day after I…read more purchased them on 94 at 70 miles per hour with no warning. Tiremaxx said that reducing from freeway speeds down to the side of the road and stopping immediately wasn't enough to protect my warranty. When I  asked what was I supposed to do apparently I was supposed to slam on my brakes and stop in the middle of 94 the second it blew. I had the tire changed professionally and the guy said the side wall blew out. I brought it to them right away to fix it or replace it and Tiremaxx fed me more lines of crap about my warranty being voided. They said repeatedly that something had punctured the tire that wasn't there anymore and heavily implied that I had removed it. I did nothing of the sort. The sidewall had completely severred from the rim. Before I even got home from paying for the 5th tire the sensor light was back on. Then Tiremaxx claimed that it was because the car needed to reset the tire sensors when a tire was changed. So I went back and let them reset the sensor. TURNS OUT THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO COVER ANOTHER PROBLEM. By morning the sensor was back. I called a different mechanic and they said the tires were probably installed incorrectly and now that its getting cold they are separating from the rim. He thought I'd need ALL NEW TIRES because left uncorrected they will continue to blow out. I don't know when the next one's going to blow but I need them to fix it and they haven't called me back.  I can't believe that it's this difficult for a tire store to install tires correctly. While I was sitting in there waiting for my new tire yesterday, they said the exact same thing to the customer behind me about their warranty. Do not shop here if you want to be able to drive safely.

I took mine in for the first time to get the oil change before I put it up for sale. As they completed I asked for a recommendation for a tire rotation location in the area and they did them here as well. Just needed to switch bays and it was done in a snap. Great service. Awesome staff. Extremely reasonable pricing. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
