in Well, regrettably I have to give a follow up review for Mike. While my initial encounter with…read moreMike last fall (closing down our system) was wonderful, this spring and summer interchanges have been incredibly frustrating. On 2 occasions Mike made appointments with us and did not show and did not reach out (I totally understand that unexpected things happen, but you have to let the customer know). On the first planned rescheduled visit he came several hours later than he had indicated and by then we had guests over that I had to completely ignore. Mike was tired (it was late afternoon on a Saturday) and asked to come back a month later to address some issues that needed to be fixed and in the meantime he had me order parts (about $100) which I did for the follow up which was supposed to happen last weekend. I texted a day or so before the appointment to confirm (got nothing back), then reached out early on the day of the scheduled appointment and he texted that he would not het there in the morning as planned, but would again come in the afternoon, then a couple hours later texted that he needed to reschedule (again very frustrating since I had rearranged my day (which also happened to be my birthday to accommodate). He never called in follow-up and his voicemail was completely full and not taking messages. Then 2 days later I again called and he immediately texted that he would call me. I never got a call back! So now I have to move on. I get it that life can sometimes be complicated, but a little respect and communication goes a long way. I guess I should be glad it's not my physician or my father, and just a sprinkler guy who has ghosted me, sitting with $100 of unused parts he had me get. A couple of points in response to Mike (the owners) reply to my review. 1) I ended your phone call this morning after you started to scream and called me a "Liar" 2) I have provided lots of availability for us to get today; as I indicated to you when you asked if Saturdays were okay (and we agreed upon July 11), I had/have availability almost every Monday and alternating Wednesdays 3) The system I have in place has been working fine for the past decade, and yes does have some issues now that I was hoping you would help with...presumably this is the type of repair service you are skilled at. I would have gladly walked away from proceeding if you had indicated any hesitancy or inability to achieve remedy of the issues. However, you did not do this, and instead had me purchase replacement parts in preparation to your appointment this past weekend (which you cancelled midday. 4) The bottom line is, at least with me, you were impossible to reach (through either your intent or lack of organization). I work intimately with over a hundred people every week as part of my job for the past 30 years. And while it is not always possible to meet everyone's expectations perfectly, for the most part, an open dialogue and truthful follow-through goes along way. It is unfortunate that you didn't always "mean what you say" nor "do what you say".

The insurance adjuster was more than happy to give me a quote based on my own work and restoration. (That time I injured my lower back hauling debris.) That was several years ago, recently I had a tree fall on my property from my neighbors yard damaging my fencing, vehicle and home. I started doing the same thing quickly as a concerned husband and father to make sure my family was safe and had adequate shelter at the end of fall. It was cold and I moved everyone to our master bedroom to stay warm that night. The tree knocked down all the power lines and it was hours before the electric company shut it off. This sent several surges of electricity to our home damaging the furnace and appliances among other things. My neighbor hired Angelo from Americon Restoration. It just coincided we were outside at the same time. I was clearing the small debris panicked after I had just called my insurance company. They were professional but seemed to lack the sense of urgency. He spoke to us briefly and put my mind at ease. I clearly had no idea what I was doing. They consulted with me and our insurance company through the whole process. I highly recommend them to everyone including my friends and family. I won't do this again on my own again. Angelo and John were always a text or phone call away. I hope we don't have to use them again for a natural disaster or emergency but if we do I will surely contact Americon.

The crew arrived, punctually, worked, meticulously, and were respectful of our space, ensuring everything was cleaned up before they left. The painting job itself was flawless. They even had to take down wallpaper, which was not an easy task, but did it perfectly. Their strengths were having crisp lines, no drips or errors, and an impressive finish. The color recommendations they provided were spot on, as I was struggling to pick out the perfect color their craftsmanship truly brought our bedroom to life! This family owned business was so easy to work with, and they literally felt like family in my home always had a smile on their face.
