The job was left incomplete after being started, with unclear and shifting expectations about completion.

He said to give him until Monday to get an estimate to me. Monday came and went, so I emailed to follow up. Someone responded, saying he was working 12 hour days, and that she would get back to me. Well, that was 4 days ago, and I haven't heard anything back. I understand that landscapers this time of year are extremely busy, but it doesn't cost anything to follow up and tell a potential customer you need extra time vs. ignoring them and making them wonder if you want their business. As much as I liked him and felt he would do a good job, I hired someone else because I don't think they run an organized operation.

The team sent to clean my house was extremely thorough and made me feel like I could actually start moving in. Beyond that, the owner contacted me to thank me for supporting his business. Maybe it's just because I am coming from the west coast, but I thought, who takes the time to contact their customers like that? It was so thoughtful. As I get settled, I plan to take advantage of other services this company provides. Their customer service is top notch.

I had a very bad overall experience with this business. I used this business because of a referral…read morefrom a mutual acquaintance; this lulled me into a false sense of security. I had several verbal quotes on lawn installation. We decided that we only wanted half of the work done and gave the go ahead to do half the job. I came home and found an entire lawn installed. It wasn't what was agreed to. I feel that this was part of the plan--do all the work---then bill! Second problem: I had about ten 15 foot white pine trees installed. These are significant trees. Two of them died in the first six months. I contacted the landscaper and he refused to do anything. It is standard that large plants, trees, and bushes are warranted for one year. Not from this landscaper. I can't recommend using this business. Very bad experience. More work done than asked for. Lost more than $1000 on two trees that died.

Noah, the excellent maintenance service representative who always takes care of my lawns, apologized to me, telling me that this was not a very good day for him. I totally understood, because Noah has always been very kind, polite, and courteous, always answering any questions I have. And how many of us have had an "off" day now and then?
