Mostly ok, need to get rid of the 1970's deep tub and put in a shower stall or normal tub. I was not about to try to crawl into the hideous tub to shower. Also remove old carpet in rooms and replace with vinyl flooring like most hotels have done. read more

Arrived around 10:30pm to check in, there was someone at the front counter and the process was quick. I requested a late check out, and was granted 12pm. I offered to pay extra for even later but was told that was the latest they could do. Room was large enough for the 2 of us (each in a queen bed), and could spread out all of our stuff (we're on a road trip so we have a lot of stuff, including 2 bikes). Bathroom was also spacious. The gym was small, but had all the essentials (free weights, tread mill, elliptical, cable machine). Breakfast was decent and served until 9:30, oatmeal, cereal, waffles etc. Since we had to leave the room at 12, we spent the next few hours working from the lobby which was fine, there was a desk and some large couches and good enough internet for my work and a couple of video calls. read more

Front desk and employees were very nice. I arrived late and found that the Quality Inn shared parking with the Black Bear Diner. There is limited parking around the Inn and if full, as it was this night, I was directed to the restaurant lot. If the restaurant is busy as it was when I was there, you may find it challenging to find a parking spot. This is a 2 story Inn with no elevator. It's showing its age and could use a refresh. If on the ground floor, you will hear those above you should that room be occupied. Doors do not close quietly so you will hear others entering or leaving their room if they don't grab the door. Lighting in the parking area leaves a bit to be desired but it did not seem unsafe. Location is good for anything in Richfield located directly off the main road through town. This could make turning left on a busy afternoon problematic. Room was clean even for being a pet room. No complaints there. Either way, it was the cheapest place in town and I was glad to have a room. If you can tolerate some of the things mentioned, and if you get there early enough for a parking spot alongside the Inn, this would be the place for you. read more

Depends on what you want. I want everything. Great staff at check in. They didn't balk on my paying by cash. The room was all you could ask for. Breakfast was superior and again the staff offered to help due to an injury sustained another location that had nothing to do with Quality Inn. Plus, they have a pool. In need of lunch or dinner there is a nice restaurant within 50 feet. And Richfield offers so much. I was on a road trip and have stayed at numerous hotels. This is far and away the best. Prepare to be spoiled. I have decided to only stay at a Quality Inn. read more

We were traveling from Colorado to California on May 7th and stayed overnight at the Quality Inn in Richfield. The receptionist was very friendly and assigned us a room which was really clean near the next-door restaurant. Our dog, which was traveling with us, was welcomed and enjoyed his stay too. I recommend this motel highly and will reserve a room for us again the next time we are in the area. read more

In a way, that isn't the fault of the hotel, and I feel bad that they have to deal with inconsiderate guests. I don't ask a lot from hotels, but "ability to get a night's rest" is at the top of the list. They can improve things greatly with some small changes: Install an arm to slowly close the front door of each of the rooms--like most every other hotel. The doors are heavy, and the noise echoes down the entire hallway whenever people go in or out. It wasn't just a few people either. Parents yelling at their kids all the way down the hall, as well as drunk partiers outside. On the side of my room opposite the hallway was an enclosed courtyard dining patio just outside the window, and the pool on the far side of that. Until 10pm at night I could hear drunken guests right outside. And several times it sounded like someone was trying to break a door down or hitting the wall with a 2x4 repeatedly in the pool or gym area. Hire a bouncer and a life guard, and kick people out for rowdy behavior. Your customers shouldn't have to put up with this, and honestly, neither should your staff. read more

Stayed there for a night after a day of driving (10/13:2022). The receptionist is nice. Room is clean and decent. Bed is so comfy and spacious. Breakfast is great and the staff especially the guy was very nice and helpful. For the price, it was awesome! Best deal!!! read more

It's everything thing you want in a budget-friendly stay. The hotel smells nice, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, A/C worked great. Breakfast was staffed and stocked well. They have 2 waffle irons running and a small hot buffet among several pastry choices, instant oatmeals, yogurts, coffee/juice:milk. Staff was on top of cleaning chairs & tables. Bonus: it shares parking lot with the friendliest Black Bear Diner, so it's steps away for lunch or dinner. Bonus bonus: just a 1/2 block from Ideal Dairy. Win-win for this stay. read more

This is a good value hotel -- comfortable room and bed, nice shower, clean room, safe area. The breakfast wasn't great and the coffee was pretty weak, but considering the cost, this doesn't hurt the hotel too much. Definitely a reasonable choice for a stop over on a long drive. read more

Forgot to review this 3-4 months ago! I was driving my way from SoCal to Denver and didn't want to make the full 15 hour drive so I broke it up into two days. I booked the Quality Inn in Richfield, UT because it had good ratings and it looked safe- especially when my car was full of my belongings. Check-in was easy, room was clean, and I was really impressed with the continental breakfast for such a simple Inn in such a remote town lol. I'd stay here again if/when I'm road tripping through there. read more

Breakfast was really really good. They have a do it your own waffle and pancake machine. King bed was comfy and large. The pool and gym were open but also observing social distance measures. And this location was walking distance from quite a few key places. Next door there is a steakhouse which was really good ! Disliked · Bathroom tub needs a new mat. It was pretty dirty and the heater is basically a raging inferno- we put 70 and it felt like 90!! read more

I had a great overnight stay at the Richfield Quality Inn. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet, with an excellent well lit bathroom. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were nice too. I have lost respect for choice hotels. The advertised price for this hotel is $59.00. I called to get that rate and once the rate was confirmed the customer service person informed me the total is $90.00. I protested, and he says, "well there is $20 tax and $8.00 service fee, which means they overcollect on tax and add a service fee that increases the room rate by $30.00. When I checked in, the gal behind the desk told me the rate is about $80.00 with tax, if you do a walk in registration. BUT, if you book on line, you pay $66.00. I am OK with the scam of different prices depending upon how you book, but I am not OK with telling a customer the room is $59.20, spending 20 minutes to register (they intentionally put you on hold so that you've invested a ton of time and just throw in the towel when they come back to "confirm" your room, and inform you that the price increasd 50% more. Disception doesn't deserve customers. I'll never stay at a choice hotel again, based upon the principle, and I'll let me friends an dfamily knw as well. Thank goodness for social media - so others don't have to fall victim to deception. read more

Me and my fiancé stayed here on our way to Vegas from Colorado. Price for the room is a little expensive but not too crazy. The town is very small but cute. The pool size is pretty weak and the location of the pool is very odd being in front of the front desk area so no privacy. Outside of that the staff was great and there were many restaurants near by. I would stay here again if road tripping to Vegas. read more

Plus, there are two restaurants within a minute's walking distance - both of which are good. Not a bad place to stay. The pool was clean and it's inside. Great way for the kids get the crazy out after being stuck in the truck for 10hrs. Yes the hot tub was as I could set and watch the kids in the pool. Lots of chemicals is the hot tub as the bubbles started growing. So the check in was quick and the lady in the office was friendly and took time to explain everything. The room was clean and ready. Plenty of hot water and it was quite. No issues. We chose this hotel because it has many good reviews on Yelp and on that other well-known travel site. We must be spoiled and elitist, but we hated it. The best things about it were that a) it was clean b) the vanity was large and inside the bathroom. We were given a room on the second floor and the hotel has no elevator. Great if you're 20-something or backpacking, but we are neither and have never learned how to travel light. The room had so much deodorizer that it burned my eyes. The towels were thin, almost as thin as the toilet paper. The bed was too hard for my painful back. A hang tag in the bathroom touted the curved shower rod. Not in our bathroom! We couldn't get local channels on TV even after the front desk guy told us how to access them. Breakfast was ordinary. It may earn its good reviews as the best of a bad lot, but for our money, it just didn't cut it. We had little choice but to stay in Richfield on our way to Minneapolis. I think next time we'll plan a different route. read more

Good little spot. Used this as a stop gap on way to Vegas. The rooms were clean and nice. they had newer flat screen TV's and nice showers. The hotel was quiet which was a plus. There is a jacuzzi that is open until 10pm nightly. Its very nice and gets pretty warm. The beds were comfy too.... well, not great, but better than expected anyway. When you stay here, you get free breakfast at the restaurant next door. Its buffet style and includes 1 drink. Well worth it. Think about it........ If you pay $60 for the room for the night and are traveling with 3 other people (2 queen beds), thats 4 free breakfasts. Valued at atleast $10 each.... mo money, mo money, mo money. Check in was quick and easy with friendly front desk people. they even have fresh cookies in the lobby. There is a gift shop store that is pretty cool too. A couple of negative things were that the exercise room had equipment that was not in good working condition, but a couple of things did work. The free wifi was horrible. I stayed here 2 different times, and both times, I had trouble connecting using cell phones, laptops, and ipads. And when something did connect, it was so slow, it wasnt worth it. Also, the outside doors are not key operated. In other words, you dont need a key to get in the building at night, so some of you that like the extra security will not like this. read more

Bedsheets were a little uncomfortable but that's okay. Room was super clean, and the front desk was the best part. So friendly and helpful. It was quiet and felt safe, too. Traveling back to San Diego from Denver, we stopped in Richfield for the night. I looked into Yelp for suggestions of a hotel and Quality Inn was the place to be. They are located on Main Street, next door to Steve's Steak house (which provides a delicious dinner). The receptionists were very welcoming and accommodating. The place had everything we would want in a quick stay. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The air conditioning worked very well and was quiet enough to sleep through. There were plenty of towels and the bath was well maintained. The only problem we found was that there is no elevator in the building. So, if you have large luggage or can not handle stairs, request a first floor room. The price was amazing (under $100 per night). This also includes breakfast. So glad we decided to stop in for the night. We will certainly stop again on our next travel on I-70. read more

Pet-friendly and competitively priced. The room is smallish, basic, but clean; bathroom is a tight squeeze; free wifi. Small fridge for your convenience. The pool is warm and clean. The front desk clerk was so nice -- so refreshing especially compared to the anal witch at La Quinta in Zion from the night before. I stay here once a year on my way to Moab, UT. It's about an 8 hour drive from where I live and makes for a good overnight stop. The reasons I love this hotel: 1) It's in Richfield, the most down-to-earth small town I've been to in Utah! 2) A continental breakfast which is actually good. 3) Nice hot tub 4) Someday a new pool. Currently (May, 2013) a hole in the ground 5) Friendly staff. 6) Ample parking 7) Easy walking distance to Walmart, K-Mart and downtown 8) New A/C which is quieter and works better than the older ones they used to have Drawbacks 1) Was a better value when the restaurant next door provided a free breakfast for hotel guests 2) An older Hotel, thin walls, small bathrooms 3) Fitness center was full of worn equipment, some of it not working. After getting into our room, noticed quite a bit of noise from the stairs next to the room. Tried calling front desk but room phone not working and went to the desk to ask for another room. I was told they were fully booked and could not change rooms but noise should subside later in the evening and when I said the phone was not working received an "oh" response but no repair. While the noise quoted down around 11pm, it started up at 6am the next morning. Also room was in rough shape and bathrooms in need of renovation. Could not recommend this hotel (or make sure you don't have a room next to the stairs. read more
