I came late to checked in. Mariana was great. She waited till 11:30 pm for I to show up. She gave me a great clean room. She gave me dinner since I arrived late and the town was closed. Amazing customer service!! After a long drive it was so nice to be welcomed like family!! It really felt like I was staying in my cousins guests house. The bungalow is just that a cute and cozy little bungalow from the 40s.... just enough room for the two of us and our little chihuahua. They are pet friendly and at a very nice $10 small pet fee. The decor is nothing spectacular but again.. it's very nice for sleeping and cleaning up. We appreciate the effort and above all, the cleanliness. Didnt use the TV can't speak to that.. awesome shower head and pressure and the hot water is hot. Overall.. we would definitely stay again. read more

The owner is so sweet and friendly. She was waiting outside for us. Greeted us and made us feel welcomed. She has a friendly,cute dog too. I was a little concerned if it would be clean and safe. No need to worry! Completely the opposite. Nothing fancy. It had a tv with lots of channels and free Wi-Fi. The ac is loud but works great . Nice spacious sink area and had a luggage rack too. We asked if there was a microwave but there isn't one. She brought her personal microwave down for us to use. Where would you ever get treated like that? She's so personable. She even thanked us for supporting small businesses. It was so inexpensive too. Definitely please stay here!!! read more

Came here for the night as a overnight stay between our travel. Loved the place it's cozy and has a home style feel to the place and the staff made us feel very welcomed! They have a beautiful garden to hang out at and the rooms were very clean and nice. This is an old school style place and we loved it felt like home. Mary Ann was super nice and very a accommodating as we were traveling late in the night. She made sure that we were all set for our stay. Amazing place will definitely come back! Make sure to call ahead to make the reservation, If your planing on staying here for the night. Their set up is by phone only which makes it very convenient so if your in the area or getting close just call ahead. read more

We were in town for Softball and decided to get a jumpstart on some fun. To our surprise, every single hotel was sold out. A local "Chain" hotel referred us to The Ranch Motel about 20 mins up the road. They thank goodness they were able to accommodate us on literally zero notice. The Owner and her mother were so kind a welcoming. The room was clean and and was fully stocked with toiletries. It was super affordable. The Town was charming and offered everything we needed. Perfect location for a layover while traveling hwy 70. read more

I'd called to ask if they had hourly rate (since that's how it came up on my google search) and very rude, judgmental and unprofessional, without knowing what the situation was, she assumed wrong things by saying "who asks for an hour room?" 1. I didn't ask for an hour. 2. What are you implying? So I tried to ignore that ugly comment and ask ok, then how much for the day since I been driving and need to sleep. Which she answered again very rudely "no no no I don't do that," and like that repeatedly while I tried to explain my situation and not whatever her judgmental self had thought. Anyways, if she's like that with new costumers I can't think how she really is with customers who have already paid and can't get their money back. read more

We were traveling through the area the weekend of memorial day. Could not find a place to stay anywhere . Then we got to Salina and found Ranch Motel . Life saver ! The sweetest young lady , very friendly and professional, welcomed us with a kind heart . The room was perfect ! Very clean and the sheets were like sleeping in your own freshly cleaned linens. My parents and I were had driven past Moab to Green River only to discover that they too had zero vacancy in town. We were exhausted and it was getting late, so I called ahead to the Ranch Motel in Salina and we were lucky enough to be greeted with a room and great customer service. The rooms had an old charm for sure, but they were charming and cozy none the less. The bedding smelled amazing, so much so that I asked the motel keeper for the name of the detergent. Communication was super easy and efficient. I also left some items there and she was kind enough to mail them back to me, free of charge. Overall it was unbeatable customer service. read more

Forget your name- brand chain motels- this place is not only very accommodating, but super clean and really affordable! Maryanne went over the top in order to provide me with my needs and was extra welcoming snd kind. Room was perfect- it had everything a person needs and all they may want including a mini fridge, microwave and tv. Towels were bright white, soft snd nice. Bed was comfy- in fact, I overslept I was so comfortable. The Ranch is located back from the exit about a mile and a half into town off of the exit in Salina just past the only streetlight in town on the right past all of your ordinary name- brand named motels. Due to this, it must not get the recognition it so Well- deserves! I will for sure stay here again, as well as, Recommend this little charming motel to everybody traveling that I know. A nice little budget motel owned by a nice family who lives on site. They were really accommodating and just what I needed.

After a long 12 hr drive heading towards Moab, UT, we thought that Salina would be a good place to rest. We couldn't find the motel 8 and ended up at the Ranch Motel. The basics were there, but the bed was awful. Besides the sagging, I could feel the springs inside. Something I never do is ask to see of there was a better bed or a refund. After they refused for a full refund, I looked at what they deemed the best bed they had, and it was no better. We would have liked to have moved to another motel, but we didn't have the budget to spend on yet another motel for the night. Why such a low rating as if the bed wasn't enough? The floor shook as you walked on them...literally, only one window in the bathroom opened to get some fresh air, and the walls are paper thin. My recommendation is to do whatever possible not to end up here for the night. read more

Absolutely disgusting.... Ranch motel? More like roach motel!!! This place was so bad I didn't stay. I left so fast I didn't even bother trying to get my money back or anything. The place smelled like piss, roaches in the bathroom and on the wall above the bed. The bed looked like someone was laying in it before we got there and the bed bugs freaking grows. Not to mention the rude staff who acted like their life was so miserable and they didn't want to be there so they were going to make you miserable as well. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. My advice is... Run! Don't stop... If you do, who knows what will be crawling on you in your sleep. What you are sleeping in because I seriously don't think the sheets were cleaned and you don't want to take roaches home. read more

Was exactly what we needed. The price was good for what we needed. Although we wanted to pay a little less, it was actually the best price we could find, and had more than what we needed. It came with a fridge, which was good, as we needed to keep our milk cold. Very friendly staff. No complaints. It's not the ritz and I didn't pay for the ritz. Great deal for a place to sleep. For the techies, there's no HDMI input for the older television we had. But whateva.. not really traveling to watch television. Wifi was a good connection. On our long road trip west this year, my husband and I spent a night at the Ranch Motel in Salina, Utah. This owner of this family owned motel, Mai Tai, welcomed us, and we were treated like family. When we left, my husband forgot his Ray Ban sunglasses. Not only did the owner mail the sunglasses to us, but did so at her own expense. You will not find a friendlier or more accommodating spot as the Ranch Motel. (It's also a short walk to Lotsa Motsa Pizza, where we grabbed a tasty gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza). read more

4 stars for the price; was $30 less than another local motel we checked. We did not check the price at the "chain" motels by highway & truck stops. We weren't looking for amenities, just a place to sleep and clean up. Proprietor offered a few levels of rooms with an offer for us "to take a look" and choose what we were comfortable with. We checked in about 6 pm and planned an early start the following morning. I check motel rooms thoroughly before we unload our belongings and this one passed my cleanliness criteria. Cleanliness does not include decor choices. The mattress could be upgraded and the walls were thin. But we did not chose one of the pricier rooms. I like that I can park my vehicle by my door and a good cafe is a very short walk. TV had the weather station channel and WiFi worked well. I'd definitely stay here again. read more

You definitely get what you pay for here... the bathroom was in really bad condition and all of the shades in our room were make-do out of blankets etc. the owners could really enhance their business if they renovated because the room i stayed in is borderline violating safety code. read more

Not a luxury motel by any means, but it was cheap compared to the rest of the limited options in town, room was good enough, and the service was very friendly.
