Most will mention the negatives. Those folks may have forgotten they have chosen one of the least pricey places in town. The negatives are not really that negative for the price paid. We stayed overnight on our way from Ohio to Oklahoma due thanksgiving week. It was fair priced and clean. The breakfast was nice they had the traditional waffle maker,eggs and sausage gravy. It was quite and located next to a couple gas & convenient stores. I would recommend this hotel for a overnight on a road trip. read more

Do not stay here. We rented our room, got our key & went to go in. The bed was not made & room was not cleaned. Go back to the front desk, the man leaves to then yell at a woman & young man about the rooms not being ready. He says it's now taken care of. We go back to the room and it's still in the same way. So we go back to the front desk to ask for a refund to stay elsewhere. That's when the gentleman started fighting with us to "give him another chance". I was in Nashville for work and I could not find a hotel room after calling maybe 40 or 50 hotels I finally found the quality Inn in Kingston Springs. My work was paying for the room so I had to charge it to my company and the front staff were very patient after several calls that I made between the front staff and the corporate lodging. I finally got a very nice and clean room. It's a very nice hotel olderhotel, but Stillstill very kept up and clean. All the staff were very professional even though they were very busy checking people out they still found time to deal with several phone calls and emails from my company. The rooms are not that bad. However, the location is quite a dangerous one. Especially for women so I would suggest that women do not stay here even in groups. I have a wonderful perk from work. It is called TicketsAtWork. I used it to plan an adventure from the west to Ohio. At one stop in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, I was to stay at a Quality Inn. The desk clerk insisted on running a $100 charge to my card "just in case of damages." When I went into the room, it smelled. It looked like someone had taken a knife and slashed the chair ottoman. So, I proceeded to pick up the phone to call the front desk. No dial tone. When I looked at the phone line, it had been pulled from the wall. I was clearly upset. I noticed when I walked out of the room there were piles of bagged trash on an embankment... source of the smell? I went to the front desk and spoke with the same person who check me in. I told him the room condition was atrocious. He told me that if I didn't like it to leave. I asked him for a refund for the total that I had already paid when I reserved the room and for the $100 security deposit. The man laughed and advised me to call Priceline (aka TicketsAtWrok). My loud response, "No, you will give me a copy of the refunds, or I will call the police for assistance." He said, "Get the F***k off my property." After I went to get my things from the room, I saw that there were two people now at the front desk ... two men. I let them know that I was awaiting the police's arrival. One of the men started around the counter toward me with the other following telling me to get the f**k out of the lobby. The patrolman arrived, heard my story then went in to talk to the two men behind the desk. I stayed with my vehicle. The policeman came back out... told me that they said I threatened them (all 5'2" of me) and to leave the property immediately. I asked him to at least see the room with me (I still had the key). He walked with me to the room. When I pointed out the trash next to my room, he said, "What does that have to do with your room?" I asked, "Would the health dept approve of this?" The policeman said not a word. We walked into the room ... no light would turn on ... I pointed out the slashed ottoman and the ripped-out phone cord to illustrate why I wanted a copy of the refund. He said, "I have it on body cam. What do you want me to do?" As we were walking back to my car, I handed him the keys to the room. He said, "I am not taking those in." I responded, " What do you want me to do? I have been asked to leave with no copy of a refund for the room or the $100 security deposit." He took the cards. His parting shot to me ... "Leave or I will arrest you for trespassing." Tomorrow, Monday ... phone call to Quality Inn Corporate office ... phone call to Kingston Springs's Health Dept, Chamber of Commerce, and Division of Police. read more

Made a quick stop to get some rest on a long road trip. Although they were listed as a Best Western, they switched to a Quality Inn. We were pleasantly surprised to find such EXCELLENT SERVICE in this tiny little town. We have a pick up truck with a 26' car trailer attached. The gentleman at the front desk, Prem, was very knowledgeable and welcoming! He made sure we got the best rate and he suggested a room with a hot tub to soothe our aching muscles. He even helped us park our truck and trailer. Clean, comfortable rooms with the best costumer service around! What a wonderful stay! We WILL stay here again on our way back through! This Quality Inn was absolutely disgusting! The room smelled like smoke and mildew. Walking in we first recognized the black office chair was all torn up....the rug was very poorly placed onto the floor....every time you walked in the room you felt bumps underneath your feet. The refrigerator was broken and leaking water. There was a cockroach on my kids bed, comforter, and it was SO disgusting. No towels.....The airconditioning was loud and terrible, didnt work properly at all. We will NEVER go here again. This place needs to be out of business immediately. VERY poor management. The front office staff was clueless and unresponsive. We didn't even want to eat the free breakfast.....our appetite was completely gone and needed to be free of this horrible situation. When we confronted the office staff of such horrible conditions that the room was in....they were unapologetic and didn't care. Just plain rude and disgusting. read more

A terrible experience! Reserved a room two weeks early through Booking.com. Checked in at about 2 pm. Was given a key by a very nice receptionist. But I should have known something was potentially awry when she was speaking with a person off to the side who wouldn't show her face. She said the room would be ready in 20-30 minutes. On our way somewhere else, we didn't wait, but drove to our meeting. Came back to the Quality Inn about 9:30 pm, dragged our luggage up the stairs, and tried our key. Wouldn't let us in. So, we went back down stairs and got a new key. A different person was at reception who was equally nice and she gave us another key. Still wouldn't work. As we were trying to get in the room a voice from the other side of the door said, "who is it?" There's someone in the room!!!!! They had given our room to someone else!!!!! So, went back down to reception. The person tells us that the previous receptionist had moved us to another room without informing us--or without informing the new receptionist. Ugh!! So, she gave us a key to another room, this time on the ground floor. But when we got to the door, there were three or four people sitting outside near the door, apparently having a little party. One of the men was shirtless. Others were smoking and drinking cans of beer. So, we dragged everything back to reception and asked for another room. They only room left by that time was "the family room"--a larger room with two double beds, at the top of the stairs! Finally, about 10:30 pm, we were in a room--soaking wet with sweat. Although new carpet had been installed and some new paint slapped on the walls, the room was pretty tired. And so were we. So we finally got to sleep just before midnight. The next morning, as we were preparing for showers, we thought there was no hot water. After a few minutes of letting the water run, we found out that there was, in fact, hot water, but the shower regulator valve was installed wrong, so the hot water was found at the place where the cold water would normally be found. Needless to say, after that dodgy experience, we didn't partake of the free breakfast. We won't stay there . . . ever. I'd rather go camping...and I hate camping! read more

This Quality Inn is operated by Sam Patel and is a horrible business. They are flat out thieves. I had booked this hotel when it was a Best Western, it switched ownership and became a Quality Inn. I canceled my reservation for my stay in June 2016 in December of 2015 when I was notified that it was changing ownership. After getting back from my summer vacation I noticed a charge from this hotel. I called them immediately to report that I had never stayed and had cancelled my reservation back in December. First they asked for proof of cancellation. I gave it to Misty via email. They then said that they were working on updating their billing system because they were illegally charging people under the name of Best Western still even though they were a Quality Inn and asked me to be patient. I was, then when they updated their system, they said nothing could be done because they could not bring up the old system information. I contacted Choice Hotels at this time and they said I needed to work with the hotel. I then called the hotel back asked to be connected with the manger/owner. They said they would let him know. After a while I contacted them again and they said that he was out on personal leave, I backed off to give Mr. Patel some time to handle his family. After that I emailed him and he never responded. I then contacted Choice Hotels directly and they ignored me for a while. They then after me contacting them several times said they could not do anything because the charge appeared as "Best Western" yet Best Western is not the one who received the money, Sam Patel is as they were illegally using an old system that was still using the Best Western name, something they admitted to when I first contacted them in July. It is now October and Sam Patel, Quality Inn, and Choice Hotels have decided to do nothing to right this wrong, even though I have proof that I cancelled. Patel is a thief, Quality in is anything but Quality, and the Choice Hotels will never ever be my choice ever again. read more

Sam Patel and his family may own many hotels but this was by far, one of the worst experiences I have incurred while traveling. I checked in late in the evening after many hours of driving with my service dog. Since my dog is treated for fleas and ticks, I like to ask if they treat their rooms since we are placed in previous animal rooms. I asked because I got flea bites all over my arms from a stay at another hotel two days prior. The lady who was working had a name tag that also was engraved with the last name of Patel so I will assume she is a family member. This younger woman has a lot to learn about being in the business. The lobby was so hot people were sweating as we waited our turns. She informed me the next morning after complaining that I held people up by asking questions......Really???? So, I go to my room, lay down for a little while and decide to take a hot bath due to back and pain issues, finding only cold water. I call down to the front desk and a new girl is now behind the desk. She comes to my room and cannot get any warm or hot water to come out. She goes back and informs me by calling that there were no other downstairs, non smoking rooms. Since there were no elevators and I cannot climb stairs, I stayed because I was exhausted, did not know the area and had already unpacked all my things. I had meetings the next morning which I had to cancel because the internet was not working in my room and I could not provide the information for the meetings or bath. I asked the front desk for a 50% discount and 3 hours later, she had negotiated me from $11.68 to $30.00. I felt like I was in Mexico negotiating on clothes or a piñata! So, no hot water for a bath although the housekeeping was able to get me hot water the next morning....after sleeping dirty and missing my meetings. I was so angry with the treatment from this lady that I even called the Kingston Springs police....the officer that was sent made Barney 5 look like Einstein as he stood there and laughed about me not having hot water and commented while snickering, "I guess they came in this morning and turned on the hot water". He also made comments about me having my service dog which were none of his business nor his place to do. I had a black coat lying across the back seat and he wanted to argue that I had two dogs with me. He even said he could see its ears so I told him to go out to my truck to look at it. I thought he was rude, unprofessional, incompetent and was trying to challenge me. He just stood there looking stupid, refusing to write me any type of report, stating that he only wrote them if it was criminal. Funny thing is, I have been with a Sheriff and Chief of Police, both, who would write a incident report if asked so I assume Kingston Springs makes their on rules.The Patel family can keep my money as I would never stay in any of their hotels again. She could have refunded me $48.00 and let me leave. Instead, she acted unprofessional, made me stay there for 3 hours to get a receipt, missed my meetings and left as a customer who was very angry and dissatisfied. I would recommend staying at a cheaper hotel in the area because the service was beyond poor and the hotel is not worth what they charge! read more
