NEVER STAY HERE!!! This place is absolutely disgusting! It is not clean at all. The bedspread and blanket are not washed after each guest. I took off the bedspread and blanket off the beds. I was afraid of getting bed bugs or anything on me, so I threw them on the floor. I checked out. I waited for my Uber in fron5 of my room as i had alot of luggage. They started working in the room and I watched the use the same bedspread and blanket I threw on the floor. The room was nonsmoking, but you can smell how it use to be a smoking room. The headboard still has multiple hand prints you could see. Omg, its so gross. I regretfully stayed one night. Don't believe what's posted on this website. The owner is rude as well. Don't know how they havent been shut down yet. Just don't EVER stay here. You're better off sleeping outside, it's cleaner. read more

Called the front desk for me and my fiance's anniversary to book a room with a spa tub. Mike the employee advised us angrily no rooms were available and hung up. After looking online and seeing 4 rooms left, my fiance called back and asked about why there were rooms available online. The associate responded that he hadn't updated it yet but to book a room online if we really want one. My fiance asked why should we do that if we were told there aren't any rooms. Mike responded, that's my problem not yours and hung up. So rude. We will never ever go here and do not reccomend this place at all. read more

If I could give a negative 5 stars on this place I would. We were forced to check into this in because there was no other place within walking distance and we were stranded. When we went into the 1st Room The smoke was so thick I thought I was in a club. We requested to change rooms to a non smoking room and were switched. When we got into the non smoking room and turned the bed down we noticed that the sheets were nasty and stained with body fluids, there were stains on the blanket, there were what appeared to be bloodstains on the walls next to the night table, and there was hair in the bed. We went to the front desk and asked for clean sheets the last four a nasty attitude and slammed the window in our face and and left us outside for 5 minutes then came back and handed us sheets to change the bed ourselves. Those sheets were stained and dirty as well. The toilet had not been cleaned and had urine drops on the seat. We slept in all our clothes and kept our mask on from COVID-19. We were charged $75 for 1 night, then I looked and saw the rates are $55 -65 night. The board of health should investigate this place and shut it down. read more

This place is a dump. You get one little soap. Smoke smelling rooms. Improperly cleaned rooms (a nail on the floor in my room). No fridge or cookware unless requested. The wifi isn't site-wide. There's only about a dozen working cable channels. The hot water ran out during a shower. But it's the best price you'll find for miles. The staff is friendly. read more

Other reviewers have crazy expectations , this is one of the nicest under $80 hotels I've ever stayed in. My expectations were low when we checked in at midnight. But It's pretty clean, recently updated room, ac worked etc. Is it perfect ? No but is I think $65 a night. What do you expect ? Despite the other reviews, this place wasn't that bad. Not great, reason I gave 3 stars. But, after the horrible experience we had at the Nashville Airport Inn, this place was basically a palace. The floors appeared to be recently updated. Newer lighting fixtures. Fairly clean. Sheets were clean. Shower was clean. Newer TV. Fridge worked. The customer service was really good. Decent price. The A/C worked great. Only bad part was the odor. Nothing too terrible, but it was fairly strong. Sort of like an old cabin or something. The A/C helped knock it down a bit. The bed was a little too firm for my liking as well. Also a few little bugs in the corners.. I'd recommend if you're looking for a cheap quick stay. read more

Very low water pressure in the toilet. Could not even flush the toilet. Mold on the walls in the bathroom next to the shower. Mold on the shower curtain. Very, very, basic room. These should be $35 a night. We can only get one channel in on our television and the remote was duct taped together. I definitely would not stay here again!!!!!! read more

This place was horrible. My wife and I check then the 1st thing we noticed on a quilt there are all sorts of stains Then we pulled the quilt down the sheet was covered with stains so I called the desk and told them their response was I'll bring some she's so you can change the bedding I told we are fine till the next morning we left they came in and clean the sheets did not get changed the quilt just got turned upside down the furniture is falling apart the lights didnt work..batroom sink was cracked i could go on...this was one of the worst places I have ever stayed in stare clear if I could give it less than 1 star I would read more

Avoid this place. Room was disgusting and smelled like cigarettes despite it being a smoke free room. Bedsheets had holes. Hairs were found all over the "clean" towels. Their free breakfast was a joke with only coffee and a cereal. Additionally their customer service was horrible. read more

I'll give this place 0.0000 stars if I could: 1. Sheets are filled with old cigarette burns. When we asked about it, they made up some excuse that previous guests lied even if there is a no smoking policy. Well, yes, but they should throw those sheets away already! Ewww. We arrived at 2am so we just told them on our way out. The person on the front desk didn't care. She didn't even quite get that you're supposed to throw bad sheets away, especially if you're a business. I don't care what other guests did, we didn't have to suffer for it. I don't care if the lady we talked to thinks that it's okay to keep old cigarette-burned sheets in her home, this is a business in America. Did I miss anything? Have we lost our sense of business integrity and standards? 2. There were no tissues. There was one roll of really thin toilet paper and sachets containing a drop of shampoo typically found in dirt cheap hostels in developing countries. (Soap was good. Thanks.) Am I supposed to feel lucky there was a roll of tp? 3. The room smelled of smoke even if we specifically booked for a non-smoking room. 4. The carpet was dirty, sticky and grimy. 5. The room was dank and dirty. 6. It's always a bad sign of business culture when front desk calls me shortly before checkout time to remind me of checkout time. For one, we arrived at 2am. No decent inn keeper would do that. We were on our way out anyway. This place did that. This is a sign of a nickel and diming (fear of lack) business culture versus a generous opportunity-filled culture that we all are supposed to collectively contribute in the USA. Thirdly, it's just not polite. 7. Front desk rang us this morning chasing after his $10 pet fee. We get it if you have to charge pet fee and we did gladly pay (In fact, we usually pay more than this amount for pet fee. So the amount is fine.) But when we booked online, we did disclose that we had a pet and they didn't say that there was a pet fee. We paid everything online. When we checked in to verify the night before, we tried to make sure that we were all paid up, but the gentleman on the front desk did not even speak English! Then this morning we got a call and said oh we forgot to charge you pet fee and by the way check out time is now. It's unprofessional. But really, you can charge me all the pet fee you want, I don't care. It all boils down to this--the room is dirty to begin with and the sheets are gross. I get that it is an old motorists' hotel. But I've traveled all over the USA and the world, and have stayed from luxurious to old motels by the road--this was NOT just some rustic old thing. This hotel stinks. The business process is subpar to American standards. I cannot get over sheets with old cigarette burns all over and yet management does not have the eye or integrity at the very least decent and courteous to their guests and not reuse these sheets. Budget friendly if that's what you're after. Sometimes you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a bed to sleep in, and a shower to wash up in, then this is the place for you. If you want the finer things, like a fresh smelling room, a coffee pot you don't have to run water through several times to clean before use (then deciding to just give up and go to the corner store for a safer bet), or a peaceful nights sleep, then this place is not for you. I made my reservation against my better judgment after reading the reviews, but as I was traveling with a horse and had him boarded for the night nearby at a beautiful farm, I figured it'd be convenient. When the woman I spoke with on the phone at 11:30 that morning took my credit card info, I advised her to hold the room late, as I was going to be arriving well after midnight, probably in the wee hours of the morning. When I arrived after putting the horse up, around 2:15 am, I went to the after hours window, and it took me several phone calls and banging on the glass to get the staff to show up. He was extremely rude. He told me flatly he had no rooms and when I told him I had s reservation he told me he had just given my room away 15 minutes earlier. He claimed he had tried calling me to see if it was ok and when I didn't answer he gave it to someone else. I had my phone on me and it never rang, and it never showed his number on my caller ID. I was very disappointed, especially given that it was the middle of the night, every hotel within a 50 mile radius was booked (college football weekend), and I was exhausted after driving 10 hours after a busy day. Pretty certain that when you book a hotel room, and you arrange for a late arrival, you should get the room. I spent the night at the truck stop across the street and I slept in my trailer, which thank goodness I had, even without a bed in it, it was a flat spot to lie down. From what I read on the other reviews, it might have been a blessing in disguise. My horse trailer is at least clean and free of roaches. My advice, book a hotel at the next exit. This place sucks. read more
