I booked a suite for a week here, and at first things were a little Rocky.. Starting with the night…read moreof 10/30 being $800 for one night... I ended up cancelling my reservation and booking another hotel... but when I checked the rates again closer to the first night I noticed the rate had dropped down to $180 for the night.. So I rebooked. We hung out in the room in the afternoons, and for the most part it was a quiet location. Did not have many complaints other than random guest dogs barking. But that was not a constant issue. We got the impression that nobody really cared about anything there, which in my case wasn't a bad thing! Driving a Tesla, while this location does not have a charger.. We did find a regular plugin outlet on the side of the building. Nobody seemed to mind that I used it to plug my car in at night, which provided about 10% of charge per night. Room Service came daily, and every other day would do a full service on my room. This was greatly appreciated, not having to worry about running out of certain supples. The breakfast was pretty good every day, we ate 6/7 days here. Overall, Great place to stay. Will likely be booking here again the future.

Hotel is well-maintained and clean inside. They plow the parking lot immediately after a snowstorm. The hotel is also close to all the major restaurants and shopping centers in the area. You will be very happy if you stay here. All the cool kids are doing it.

I see some reviewers don't realize that Motel 6 is strictly a budget motel. We are staying here for…read moretwo reasons: its free dog policy, and the central location between Portland and Bangor, the two places we are visiting here this week. But there is a balloon festival this weekend, so we are just staying two nights for now. It has an odd but not unpleasant setup. We are on the first floor. We have a sliding glass outer door very convenient to our vehicle parked just outside. Our normal inner hallway door is across from the registration office and right next to the laundry room where the ice machine and handy microwave are also located. The furnishings are stripped down, kind of funny so I took pictures. The "closet" is a high up shelf with a few hangers in it, the tv stand is a single shelf under a wall bracket. A bookshelf is the bureau. A tiny and low center shelf that is attached to the beds, holds the phone, no clock. I am not complaining about all that - it is Motel 6 after all. The price seems high for a budget place, but we are up north. This same room would be around $45 down south. It is not without issues, however. The toilet doesn't flush well at all and the secondary door frame lock on the inner door is broken. And of course, the walls are as thin as you would expect them to be. Oh, and on a side note, if you look at Google Maps and see a hiking trail around the corner at the Ramada Trailhead, don't believe it. It is mostly a snowmobile trail. It is physically possible to hike it, but the weeds are allowed to grow tall and one look at it suggested to us that it must be Tick Central. On the plus side, the A/C is quiet and the bathroom roomy with a shower that worked, so that is good. We always carry a bathroom bag, and that is helpful, for they offer tiny bars of soap but no shampoo.

I'm very happy with my room. It's clean, everything works (even the toilet), it's well maintained,…read moreand the bathroom is nicely remodeled so it looks great and is very clean. My gripe is that it's hard to find. There's a sign on I-95 that only lists the Ramada for exit 80 when in fact there are several hotels here. This may not be Motel 6's fault, but it made my life harder since if you drive past that highway exit you're going 7 more miles before you can turn around, total 14 miles wasted. And there is no tall Motel 6 sign visible from the highway. Even after you exit you can't see the hotel. The sign is so short you have to be right in front of the hotel before you can see it.

It had two sitting areas, both with stunning views of the lake, a gas fireplace and a Jacuzzi tub. It was a very peaceful and romantic setting. We Also booked an hour in their oasis sauna which is located outside with a large window facing the lake. After sitting in the sauna for 15 to 20 minutes, we stepped outside into 17° winter weather and it was amazing! The staff and the owners, Nicole and Geoff, were all very friendly and accommodating. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast in the dining room. It was a very relaxing getaway, and we highly recommend the Wolf Cove Inn.

Nicole and Geoff have a beautiful inn and were so accommodating to our small wedding. The food is something I really want to highlight, the complimentary breakfasts were so tasty, and everyone loved them. We did a lobster bake for our rehearsal dinner and for the night of the wedding the Microwedding package we had purchased included a coursed dinner. Both meals absolutely blew us and our guests away. Our group's favorites were the seasonal creamed spinach, the hot honey burrata salad, and the filet mignon. We tend to be a little particular about food and the meals could not have been better. If you are debating having any kind of wedding at wolf cove or even just a romantic weekend away I would not hesitate to book here! Thank you to the Wolf Cove Inn team for making our wedding weekend so seamless and beautiful!
