What an awesome experience we had with Central Maine Powersports. We'd spend a fair amount of time researching for a side by side 4 wheeler and had narrowed it to either the Honda 700 or 1000 Pioneer. The sales staff was outstanding and took the time to answer all our questions. The nice part is there wasn't a lot of pressure to hurry our decision. We went back the following week to test drive both models and still hadn't decided. It felt like they really wanted us to make the decision that was right for us. We dealt with Jared and Dean and they were both great to work with. Ultimately we ended up with the perfect machine for our needs and couldn't be happier with our choice. The walk through at the time of purchase, the personalized attention and support can't be beat. (And banging the gong after the purchase was pretty cool!). This was my second purchase through Central Maine Power Sports. My first was a Yamaha V-Star bought in 2006. The process was friendly, informative, and I absolutely loved the motorcycle, the warranty, and the lifetime maintenance package! Just recently I bought a brand new 2018 Kodiak ATV. The sales person walked with me, answered all my questions, and helped me purchase the exact machine that would meet my needs for hunting, fishing, riding, farming, playing, and family fun. Different loans, additions, warranty packages were offered. Again, helping to chose which best suited my needs, not theirs. Everyone was helpful, personable, and they walked me through the entire building showing me were to go for parts, repairs, maintenance etc. Before taking my ATV home, they did a walk through showing me all the parts of my ATV. (oil, air filter, gas, tire pressure chart, gauges etc) As a woman, I am extremely satisfied with both purchases and feel very supported, prepared, and will enjoy several years of safe riding as a result! This is a great company and I will be a life long customer. I started off by emailing the company to inquire about there motorcycles and got a very quick response. After exchanging a few emails with clay I decided to go to the store and look at some bikes. From the time I stepped into the building I was given great service. I met with clay and was then paired with a sales associate who helped me find the right bike for me. Nick was a great sales associate and felt more like a friend than a salesman which was nice. After picking the bike I wanted nick went over every option I had to choose from. After that he helped me with all the financing paperwork and long story short I ended up with the bike I wanted. I must say that the finance department was excellent. After I purchased the bike nick then went over every inch of the bike with me so I knew what everything was on the bike. We bought our new Ranger 570 EPS and had a good experience with all the staff,sales,service,parts,and finance. The amount of time we were looking at side by sides they were very helpful and there was no pressure about sales. We would recommend Central Maine Powersports to anyone looking to buy an ATV. Now for the difference between 4 star and 5 star when we arrived home all excited to try it out on the trail that borders our property about 35 feet from the trailer it ran out of gas (discouraging to say the least), also the adhesive from shipping tape (I presume) was on all 3 spokes of the steering wheel and the seat belt shoulder harness bolt on the right side had rattled off (the nut was lost somewhere on the trip home) and the left one was loose. That being said and the problems being fixed in relatively short order we are satisfied with the machine and will continue to do business with Central Maine Powersports. read more

Of course Jon in the shop gave me the confidence in what I was buying that it was a great product and he would take care of any issues with the shops excellent knowledge. I am a return customer four times over a 10 year period. The bad well if someone buys a big ticket item there excited everyone should celebrate take a walk next door when someone buys a Harley wicked coool. This purchase benefits everyone in this building. We came into CMPS with the intention of taking something home with us, that was within a certain dollar range. The salesman was friendly and listened to what we wanted/needed the side by side to accomplish for our campground, Wilderness Edge Campground. We ultimately settled on something a little more $$ than what we had intentioned but the Wolverine is exactly what we needed for working and a bit of fun on the trails. It rides so smooth and we have already used it several times as a work horse. The finance guy was very helpful and when we spoke to associates in the accessories and service departments they were pleasant and answered all our questions. We are even doing a fun ATV trip up Mt. I had already decided on purchasing the 2015 Honda F6B before I contacted Central Maine Powersports. Via email and phone, I worked closely with Dean who made it all come together easily. I particularly liked the dealership walk thru for each department explaining what each has to offer. A lot of dealerships could learn a bit from Central Maine Powersports when it comes to customer service. We even had the pleasure of meeting Clay, who was new to the team and part of our walk thru. My husband and I stopped in to Central Maine Powersports over the weekend. I had been looking at a 08' Victory Vegas Jackpot that they had advertised and really needed to see it in person. Both my husband and I, were pleasantly surprised at how orderly the inventory was. We were blown away by the extremely, outgoing, friendly personalities of ALL of the sales team, parts desk and service crew. Drove Over 100 miles to pick up a part only to get home and find they gave us the wrong part! If the staff had been paying attention to the customers instead of complaining about each other and the lack of customer service that another employee wasn't doing... We may have received the right part! It was a friggen oil filter!!! Now we get to drive another 100 miles to get the right part... Hopefully...my time is worth over $50 dollars an hour and this is inexcusable! There were at least 5 employees in the store and 3 customers... And even as we were walking out we got to listen to other employees talking crap about each other! Bad bad business.... Wonder who the owner is?! read more

A very friendly and knowledgeable team. We really liked the sales person we worked with, Dave. CMP has a nice selection of toys and accessories, they are definitely worth checking out. We put a down payment on a Honda Rebel 500 in June, but because everything is in such high demand it didn't come in until early November. We live about 90 minutes from the shop, it was pretty cold that day and it had just snowed so we loaded the bike into a truck we had borrowed (we have 2 Subarus). My in store sales, Birch was very attentive responsive and helpful as well as Roger. The other dude that contacted me by email and phone just wanted his money. The parts department know their stuff and very willing to help just be a little patient. Service manager is great easy to talk and understands what you need. Looking around the shop the techs seem a little lackadaisical maybe just some coffee would help. I did purchase some accessories that had to be ordered and installed. I had been looking for a new Polaris Indy 120 for my son everywhere and I couldn't find one. I found CMPS and called them and the assured me they could get me one I would just have to put down the deposit. I went up right away and did just that. They couldn't guarantee I would get it for Christmas but they said they would do their very best, and they did just that. They called me to let me know I could pick up my new snowmobile on Christmas Eve, just in time for Christmas and just in time to make my kids Christmas extra special! I have done business with Central Maine Powersports for many years. I have bought their bikes, traded in my bikes and used their service department and I have always been very pleased. They work hard to please the customers and it shows. If there is any criticism of them it is their service department gets very busy at times and the wait for appointments can be frustrating in peak season. In fact, I just bought a new F6B from them and am very pleased. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so. I might add that I have done business with most motorcycle dealers in central Maine and they are by far the best. read more

I've bought 2 new machines from them. In 2016 and 2019 so as a whole they do try to do a good job to keep your business from all departments. Nick in sales has been great, very attentive, and follows through on the sale and coordinating with the parts and service dept on any accessories to be added. They send letters from the owner/manager to show appreciation for your business. Randomly send coupons too, which is fun. They are a busy place, but handle the load smoothly and remember me (or my vehicles) when I come in or call. I purchased my first motorcycle on Wednesday. Corwin was an amazing salesman! We showed up later then hoped and didn't feel rushed to finish our sale. We purchased a motorcycle for me and went through all the paperwork. We had to wait til the following two days to pick it up. They had replaced the front tire, and inspected it. I purchased a 2019 Honda Ruckus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are honest with you, they show you how to use your new machine. There are a lot of accessories in store.
