Our baby is sleeping 11 hours at night with no wake-ups, with 3 hours of naps with clockwork consistent timing. I truly believed our son was just on the very low end of the sleep needs range. At 10 months old, he was still going to bed late, waking 2-4 times a night, and waking up early in the morning. We read a lot online about sleep routines and optimization of the sleep environment. We tried non-stimulating activities before bedtime. We tried "drowsy but awake". Nothing made an appreciable difference. It felt like we'd tried everything and exhausted online resources. We were in desperate need of consistent and continuous sleep. Admittedly, I previously felt pressured by a lot of the recent social media posts saying sleep training is harmful and unnatural. These claims are NOT backed by science by the way. I was wary that sleep training would be synonymous with "cry it out" and did not want my baby to feel abandoned. Thankfully, Kendra provided precise and gentle sleep training instruction. There were some tears, but we were in the room with him to provide comfort as we both learned a new skill together. The differentiators were (i) having a very detailed plan that I could follow, not just general concepts, (ii) receiving benchmarks of how long he would take to go down and how long certain phases would last, and (iii) having a resource to ask questions to as bespoke situations arose. Kendra's plan and support has given me the confidence to handle nighttime sleep and naps like a pro. She has given me back crucial nighttime sleep, so I can continue to work to my fullest potential and give tons of energy to my son during playtime. She's taken away the fear of "solo parenting" while my husband is away on travel for work.

I spoke with Ms. Hasiet Domenico, who ran my insurance eligibility and clearly told me they were in-network. I trusted her word and moved forward with the appointment. Two months later, I was blindsided with over $1,500 invoice claiming they are not in-network. When I called the billing department, Ms. Saroa told me, in the most dismissive tone, that "scheduling staff have no clue or knowledge about insurance" and that the information I was given was "inaccurate." She gave me an ultimatum: pay the full amount immediately or she would send my account to collections. No apology. No attempt to fix their error. Just threats. I decided to double-check with the scheduling department. The representative confirmed that they do check insurance before scheduling and inform patients if they're out-of-network. After further digging, I learned the truth: Ms. Domenico ran my eligibility, got an error, informed the billing department, and both decided my insurance would not be accepted. But instead of telling me, they kept it a secret and went ahead with the appointment anyway, knowing full well I would later be hit with the bill. This wasn't a simple oversight. It was a deliberate act to lure in a patient under false pretenses and then pressure them into paying a massive bill. Ms. Hasiet Domenico and Ms. Saroa both played a role in this deception, and Integrated Neurology Services clearly tolerates these unethical tactics. If you value honesty, transparency, and basic respect, steer clear of this place. They are not just unprofessional but they are calculated, aggressive, and willing to trap patients for profit.

(I'm big on this) My experience with the workers and the doctors has been amazing. They're very kind, great bedside manner, and they take the time to discuss your care without feeling rushed. I think the only real snag with them that I had was the lack of sleep study appointment availability and communication. My sleep study was scheduled months from my initial appointment and when we had inclement weather, I was rescheduled for another appointment months later. I was told that I'll receive a call to be bumped up to a better appointment time considering the circumstances. After two weeks, I realized that call wasn't going to happen. I called to get them to reschedule for a better appointment time as bad weather is nothing that anyone can help. They were able to fit me in but I disliked the communication in trying to get this completed. Especially since they put in a request for another pre-authorization from insurance since the approved time span was going to expire with the new appointment that they scheduled months later. There was some miscommunication as well with the sleep study time as well since I was told we would have to be up and out by 6am. I had some place to be by 7am that day and was woken up at 630. It wasn't a huge deal, just a little irritating that it was stressed from the assistant when making the appointment that 6am exit is non negotiable. That worked for me. So I would just say to ensure that you speak up and confirm times with them. After that, I'm sure they'll follow through.

But that's unfortunately where the positives end. I've had to call multiple times about getting a sleep med only to find out the doctor is no longer there. I have gotten multiple invoices from them "misplaced" and then getting a bill over a YEAR later. I've gotten the wrong supplies on multiple occasions(or no supplies). They were who my PCP sent me to. I ended up completely cutting off my account with them. I would suggest finding another place that takes your insurance. I wrote this review after trying to get them to send me single invoice with all the required info for my FSA to process. The 2nd ask still doesn't have all the info my FSA wants even when giving them a bulleted list of what was needed. I'm cutting my losses and will find someone more organized.

My dad's is 82 years old and his mental state took a drastic turn for the worse in the last few months. My Stepmother Joyce has been lovingly taking care of my dad. She did this with the thought of keeping him at home and not committing him a facility. I came 2 weeks ago to help my father who was in a highly agitated state. He was hallucinating ,panicking, falling out bed, generally in a state of panic and terror. Dr. Maru prescribed a med in such a low dose that it did absolutely nothing and possibly made things worse. We finally took him to the ER at Dr. Maru's suggestion and found out his only issue was severe dementia. At this point we hired a home health agency to sit with dad 12 hours per night, When they saw my father they immediately said he was a candidate for hospice. We got an order for hospice and palliative care. I carried the ER report to Dr. Maru's office he refused to sign the order for hospice, stating he had seen him weeks ago and he was not in such a state. We were at a complete loss. My dad was in mental agony couldn't stand, eat or even recognize us. At this point we hired an Md. to do a house call and assess my dad. He immediately agreed my dad needed to be in the care of hospice. He is now unconscious But fortunately in a comfortable state. He will pass away soon fortunately at peace. Dr. Maru completely failed my dad. He is at end of life and needed care and compassion. Dr. Maru offered absolutely nothing and didn't have any idea of my dad's condition who was his patient for 5 years. It's as if he didn't believe family members or for that matter the ER. To let my dad be in such state of misery for weeks is unacceptable. While he may be a good MD for sleep studies. I would "beware" and not trust your loved one to his care. Especially at end of life. He completely failed my dad. He has a total lack of attention ,caring or compassion.

    NIKKI IS AMAZING!!!…read more We started sleep shaping with our daughter with Nikki's guidance and coaching. Nikki walked us through detailed timelines and things we need to do in order to help our daughter to get better sleep at night. Nikki is VERY detail oriented, and when our daughter turned 6 months, Nikki helped us sleep train her to sleep in her OWN CRIB! And in turn, baby is sleeping better, well rested. And my husband and I are also SLEEPING MORE, since baby has learned to sleep by herself and sleep through the night. I honestly don't know what we would do without Nikki's coaching through our sleep journey with our daughter. When I had my baby during the summer of 2020 at the height of the pandemic with a toddler at home, I knew we would need extra support. We were focused on lactation support and light household support such as help with the kitchen, laundry and light meal prep.  Nikki and I got along right away, and not only did she provide the hands-on help we needed, but she also played a big role in helping with my postpartum anxiety with her gentle encouragement and lactation expertise. She was very transparent about her activities and safety precautions during the pandemic so I was ensured that she was safe to have over in the house, and she always wore a mask. She gave me all kinds of insight to helpful sleep tips for both the baby and toddler (she's also a professional sleep consultant/specialist!), feeding tips for both baby and toddler, and pumping and nursing tips for me. I trusted her completely with my baby and in the house, and she was excellent at time management. I would give her a list of things to do for the day, and she'd get through them all, while doing additional things around the house too that I didn't even realize needed to get done. Nikki's also a professional organizer, and she tackled piles of messes that have been sitting around for months!! She even single-handedly helped to change the layout of our guest room to make a telework space for me while also watching the baby. She also helped get both the nursery and my toddler's room organized and in shape which was causing me a lot of stress. Any parent knows how much work it is keeping on top of transitioning the kids clothes, shoes and toys as they grow, and she came up with storage solutions and systems that made the transitions easy. When Nikki traveled during the holidays, she connected me with another doula to cover for the couple of weeks she was gone, who I really liked too. Overall, Nikki was fabulous and her company and friendship was amazing during those foggy first couple of months. The postpartum journey is a sacred time and I appreciated Nikki being there for me and her flexibility along the way to what my family needed. I looked forward to Nikki's visits so much. I highly recommend reaching out to Nikki for any support you may need whether you're a new parent or have a couple of kiddos already. I plan on keeping in touch with her for sure!

We knew because of COVID we wouldn't have the hands on support from loved ones that new parents need and there are truly no words to describe how much Joya's support meant to me. We initially booked a mix of day and night sessions the first 6 weeks and ended up extending until I went back to work at 12 weeks because I wasn't ready to let her go! The overnight sessions meant this exhausted mama could sleep, something that was so foreign those first few weeks. And while for a brief moment it seemed like a true luxury, it was actually an investment in my health and healing from labor and delivery which ended in an emergency c-section. Joya helped me get the most ideal latch and hold the c-section (maneuvering baby around incision was tough), maintain a robust supply and also build a decent stash in the freezer. When my supply dipped she helped me get it right back up. Because we didn't have access to in person childcare classes, I had quit a bit of anxiety about bringing baby home that I didn't expect since I had so much hands on experience with my Godchildren. Joya eased my first bath anxiety because I was worried I'd either make the water too hot and hurt her or too cold and make her uncomfortable, she showed us how to help baby receive gas, as gas was the culprit in our hardest nights, and even organized her room in a way that made middle of the night diaper (and sometimes clothing) changes easier. Most helpful of all her support was establishing good sleep habits and routines with our daughter that i'm sure will be life long if we keep up with her suggestions. At 3mos, she's slept through the night 4 times, so I think we're on the cusp of consistent restful nights ourselves! This was critical for me because sleep plays a huge factor in their development, behavior and overall wellness. Our baby is HARD to put down - sometimes we rock her for nearly 30 minutes - but has gotten easier over time the more we stick with tips from Joya. I felt like I had a shoulder to lean on in Joya, I felt seen and heard and no question seemed too small to ask.
