I purchased a relatively cost effective but cute banquette for my dining room. Fast forward 5 years, my son gave me a rambunctious puppy who proceeded to eat it piece by piece. After looking for a replacement, I found Quality Custom Upholstery on Yelp. I decided the banquette had good bones and that the best choice was to preserve it. I reached out to Eduardo in May. He let me know he was pretty solidly booked but we kept in touch. He began my project in July...I loved the color selection and it looks better and much sturdier than when I first purchased it. I would definitely recommend Edward and Quality Custom Upholstery - they do an excellent job! Tips for Edward - I would require a 50% deposit. It took Edward longer than anticipated to complete my project. He took $500 off the quoted price which is a perfect make-good in customer service. But never ask the Customer, as a make-good, "what do I think I should pay you for the inconvenience?" Too many people are unscrupulous and may say $0. He also delivered my banquette to me free of charge...another great make-good in customer service. Great job Edward...I love my banquette! read more

Moises constructed a super tough zipper case last year for my wife's tri-fold wheel chair ramp. The ramp weighs about 40 pounds and was getting beat up transporting it around in airline baggage holds in its former thin zipper bag. Not anymore! Traveled with it several times and have gotten many comments on the case, "Were did you get that ?". I tell 'em Quality Custom Upholstery in Lawndale. They've also fixed a few other things for me. It's not much to look at from the outside, but M & G upholstery really comes through. Though we…read moreused them a couple of years ago, I am pleased with the reupholstery of my father's "easy-up" recliner. The piece is complicated; lots of seams, pockets, and moving parts, but also mechanics under the chair and power cords to deal with. Not only was the upholstery work beautifully done, but the chair worked without a hitch when they returned it. They delivered the chair in a timely manner, assembled all the pieces, and made sure it was in working order before they left. As I mentioned, it's been a few years since the work was completed; my dad has passed, but the chair has been handed down to another family member, and the upholstery still looks as good as new. I'm sorry I don't have images, trust me. I will definitely use M & G again. Great workmanship and excellent customer service.
