Over-promised, under-delivered. After a month of phone calls and texts, Alex got the cushions done before the Christmas party. BUT, no piping on cushions, no rubber grip material on bottom of cushions. Both were agreed upon in the contract. He did not return two couch pillows that were supposed to be restuffed. Also, four yards of material appears to be more than enough to make the cushions. We paid $1200 for 8 yards of fabric. We finally got three yards of fabric returned to us. My wife will never use Alex or Sugars Upholstery again because Alex was very hard to get ahold of. Also, he said he could have his expert sew a couple buttons back onto a leather couch. One button was sewn back out of place and the other button he couldn't sew on after pulling it completely off. read more

We just received our new beautiful outdoor cushions. We learned about this business on Yelp and have really enjoyed working with Alex. He was very professional and courteous. Our cushions were done on time. He even picked up some of our furniture to make sure the new cushions would fit. I purchased a vintage chair and ottoman on Facebook Marketplace for our primary bedroom. The chair was in great condition with the exception of the upholstery which was stained.
