    Before bench

These have been in the family for years. Each actually fit the space perfectly so when they were looking quite old I had to debate new or reupholstered? Since they are sentimental I went with reupholstered and sought out where to go. I found Venice Interiors and Freddy who is so professional. He does the work. He knows his stuff. I highly recommend Venice Interiors for all your needs. Let me see if I can add before and after pictures of both my small chair and the bench.

I highly recommend Venice interiors. Freddy from the start was very kind , professional and helpful . From design concept to sourcing the perfect material for our needs and his attention to detail was amazing , as well as his completion timeline was perfect !!! I am a big fan and will continue to use Venice Interiors for future projects . My dream / custom master bedroom head board and frame is perfect and better than I imagined. Thank you Freddy and team . Best regards Gigi de Leon Krysiak

Spectacular workmanship finished ahead of deadline! This CB2 chair was purchased on Craigslist with some stains that could not be removed. I loved the form and comfort of it so much that I decided to give it new life with custom fabric. The cost to reupholster was $700 (plus the cost of fabric) so while not cheap the workmanship is well worth it given quality. The chair looks beautiful and seamless. Overall super happy and will use these guys again in the future.

I'm not sure how I found Venice Interiors, but I'm sure glad that I did! I had two bad experiences with a referral service that kept sending handymen to do upholstery repair. They kept asking me: "What do you want me to do?" This was very odd since if I knew what to do, I would be doing the work myself. Finally, I contacted Venice Interiors and they knew exactly what needed to be done. They handled getting the sofa from and to my home. The price was reasonable -- especially for the work done. And most important, the quality was superb. I feel like I have a new sofa! In the meantime, I already have another item there being worked on. 100% recommended. Thanks, Freddy and team!

Absolutely fabulous work! The chairs were from A. Rudin 20 years ago but still in their catalogue. VI's recover with my fabric made them more beautiful than when new and with better detail. They are artists!

Freddy Horta delivering the expert craftsmanship he completed for us!

I highly recommend Venice Interiors!!! Freddy Horta is the owner, and Antonio works with him. They did an outstanding job revamping, remodeling, and reupholstering my/our vintage, 1957 sofa. This sofa was made by my grandfather (who lived in Venice and was a master upholster) as a wedding gift for my mom and dad. I have seen the couch revamped four different times, and this transformation is really perfect! I communicated to Freddy that I envisioned my piece to be made more comfortable, updated, change the stitching and styling, make it deeper, higher, change the legs, seat and back cushions, add a substantial custom ottoman, and do this piece in quality leather. Freddy added his touches, he made great suggestions, and he perfectly executed the concepts I had in mind. He was always responsive, informative, and he kept his own personal deadline of creating the piece in 2-weeks, which fulfilled. I am so very happy with this custom piece. It is beautiful, functional and very comfortable. He used high quality materials, and said it should last 50 years easily. Someone came into his shop while my sofa was there, and they commissioned Freddy to create the same couch in a smaller size. Thank you so much Freddy and Antonio! Additional bonus, his shop is easy to get to, and it's right next door to what I think is the BEST Mexican Restaurant, Casablanca!! Helene Pisciotta-Di Salvo Venice, CA

Fredy turned my 20+ year old chair and ottoman that I loved into a modern gorgeous chair. His work is impeccable. He changed the shape from a rounded dated chair to more square off. His recommendations to omit to skirt and change the legs were on point.

I contacted a few other Companies before hiring Venice interiors, so I'm so happy I picked this one - Freddy is excellent. I had two cushions custom made for two different spaces and they turned out amazing. Freddy helped me pick the fabrics, came to the house to measure the spaces, and delivered them at home (I live close by). Btw This business takes credit cards. My cushions were made timely. In addition, they repaired a dining chair. Extremely happy with their quality of work and customer service.

    Before Venice Interiors

Gorgeous work! My father died in 2018 and I had several vintage furniture items shipped from LA. I was able to entrust Venice Interiors with my most valued and sentimental items and they came through in style. Cant recommend enough!

This place was AMAZING! I had dining room chairs that had seen better days and were in desperate need of recovering. Years of stains and lumpy stuffing had made them hard to sit on. I could see our guests recoil in horror. Fredy Horta did his magic on them and turned them into something out of Architectural Digest. His work is high quality and it is no shock that interior designers go to him for all their upholstery needs. I risk letting the secret out of the bag but he was too good to not to sing him praises. Fredy has an impeccable eye. I think he needs to design his own furniture line and told him so. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him and working with him on my little project. I brought my own fabric and he honestly told me that it wasn't strong enough to withstand the wear and tear of a chair used daily. His recommendation to get it lined was the right call. I am planning more projects with his company.

Loved working with Fredy to get my chairs fixed and reupholstered. He was friendly, communicative, and reasonable. I loved how my chairs turned out!

The quality has been great, and it's really nice that you can select a custom fabric for the same price as just the regular beige (it takes longer to get a custom color, but worth it). We also got an umbrella and was surprised at how good the quality was. Delivery was on the outer end of what they thought it might take, but still within the schedule. The guys that delivered it were terrific and we are really thrilled with our purchase. We're planning to go back and get another couple of umbrellas.

I really appreciate it, and am revising my review accordingly--I will keep using this company and hope it all goes smoother in the future! Original review: They really don't care about client experience or quality of work anymore I was a customer of this company for a number of years and used to have a great experience with both Rick (for cleaning) and Javier (for repairs). Then, the company started cutting costs and hired a young guy with no experience to take over the cleaning. Suddenly, my service became haphazard--with pieces of my spa broken during service with no notice. When I would call later, they would deny that the new cleaner had broken the piece. Anyway, I had to finally quit their cleaning service when I came home after a cleaning to find dirt strewn all over my yard and concrete tiles stained through negligence. Enough. But I stayed with the repair service, because Javier was great, knew my spa and was always reliable. A couple months ago, I needed a repair and requested Javier specifically. They said he was in demand and it would take longer to book an appointment with him. Fine, I would wait happily. Finally, the day of the appointment, a new young guy showed up, shocking me since I'd been waiting for the person who knew my spa and who I trusted. But, to be open-minded, I let the young guy work on my spa. Mistake on my part, and I now regret it. He diagnosed it, got the part and came back to install it. So far so good. But after he left (without refilling or testing the spa) I realized my spa now was leaking. Turns out when he was installing the new part, he broke our custom drain system and didn't mention it. Just like the other young man. It's shocking really - to have a company culture where service folks think it's okay to simply not mention to you when they break a piece of your equipment. I called them back to diagnose, which they did, and said they'd call back with a "plan". But I didn't hear back from them. When I finally reached out to see what the plan was, they said they had pieces "on order" and they'd call back in 2-3 weeks. The pieces were pvc pipes and valves that can be purchased at any hardware store. No need to "bulk order" as I was told erroneously. I said forget it - we'd fix it ourselves, but could they at least discount the original repair to make it fair to me. They refused, and immediately charged my card the full amount. So, here I am, doing the only thing that a client can do in these days of declining accountability and lack of quality service: giving you a full report of what you can expect when interacting with this company. I hope you can learn from my experiences.
