Cesar refurbished our 4 dining oak chairs and fitted new leather slip seats in 1 week, as he said he would do, for a very reasonable price. I would recommend. read more

Freddy was able to give me an estimate for my chair from a photo that I emailed to him. He answered all my questions and I sent my chairs in. He finished the job when he said he would and the chairs turned out great. He took replaced all the foam and reupholstered with fabric that we brought in. His price was very fair and the work is first class. Highly recommended. read more

I had such an incredibly positive experience at Venice Interiors - during a global pandemic and in the middle of moving his business to a new location, the owner Fredy went out of his way to help me and get my project completed in time for a special occasion. The finished product - which was a reupholstered settee, was done beautifully and delivered prior to the expected completion date. Thank you Fredy! read more

Freddy made an upholstered window seat cushion, a wicker chair seat and back cushion with matching ottoman covered in a Sunbrella pattern as well outdoor cushions for cafe chairs. His work is perfection. The fabric pattern is beautifully matched and attention was paid to every detail. The work was done promptly and returned to me on time and as promised. Freddy was a pleasure to work with. I will be giving him all my upholstery work in the future. Carol J read more

I've had three three things done here. 1) outdoor upholstery on vintage wood theatre seats 2) butterfly chair fix and 3) kids backpack fixed. This pro team has outdone themselves and exceeded my expectations each time. Friendly, meticulous and well priced, we are very impressed with the work here, projects big and small! read more

Venice Interiors is a great place to have all your upholstery needs met. I have had ten chairs reupholstered so far and each one looks beautiful. The quality of the work is excellent. Friendly, courteous service and fair prices, too. I have 8 more chairs to reupholster and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Freddy and his team get my highest recommendation. read more

I am sad to say that I am joining the other negative reviewers to warn people about Brass Tack's deceptive practices. I go out of my way to support local businesses so when I needed some upholstery done, I went to Brass Tack and gave them a simple project to test thier skill level. Vinny and Freddie were very nice so I left my small ($50) job with them without obtaining a written quote. When I returned to pick it up, the work was completed well but they now wanted $200 payment for the job. I refused and said I would pay only the $50 quoted or I would simply leave the fabric behind. They finally gave in and I left with my item after paying $50. I was thankful I had not given them a bigger job right away. What if they had held my item ransom until I paid them more money? For bait and switch tacktics, they get 1 star. read more

We recently brought our 6 sad Danish teak dining room chairs to Venice Interiors for reupholstering because of damage to the fabric from our cats. Freddy was wonderful and allowed us to borrow his fabric samples to choose the best color and material. I brought the chairs in on Saturday and was told that the job would require 2 weeks. I asked him to try to finish 1 chair sooner so that my wife could see it before she went out of town. I received a call on Tuesday informing me that all 6 chairs were ready. The quality of the work was first rate. The chairs looked like new. I would highly recommend this business to anyone seeking to have furniture redone or custom made. I don't know what this person below was going on about but I have been working with Brass tack since 1999. They are great. I am a professional interior designer, ASID and have been so happy with The brass tack. They may be rough around the edges, not a beautiful showroom, and I get that they aren't too up to spead with E-mail, but they have always done an amazing job for my clients! thanks Guys Adrienne Studioblu interior design read more

I wanted to send a note of thanks to Cesar and Freddy at Venice Interiors. My wife purchased a Glider rocking chair and ottoman from Craigslist that was in good shape but needed new cushions and also for the chair hardware to be repaired. I came here because I found it on Yelp and it was close to home so I hope the next person that reads their reviews will also go here. Freddy and Cesar were super accommodating. I brought the chair and ottoman in and they took a look and let me know they could fix the hardware and also quoted me a great price. My wife ended up deciding that she wanted to try to make the cushions as a DIY project so I let Cesar and Freddy know that I would come back to pick up the chair and we wouldn't be using their services unfortunately. Freddy and Cesar said no problem and when I came back to pick up the chair and ottoman they had even fixed the hardware for me! It was a pretty cool experience that they helped me out even when we decided not to use their services. I really appreciated that. Thanks Freddy and Cesar! read more

I needed bar stools and a custom fitted window seat recovered. Freddie was very nice and helpful when I came in. They did a wonderful job. I am so happy with their work. The piping looks amazing. The stools are complicated because I chose a plaid material. They did a great job lining up the plaid. Cesar, the owner, is so nice and knowledgeable. I am really happy with their work and the quality of the finished product. I would highly recommend Venice Interiors to anyone. read more

Venice Interiors re-upholstered our kitchen chairs and 1 other chair with same fabric. We live very closeby so Freddy (the Owner) picked up the 5 chairs and delivered back several days later. Freddy gave us a fair price and the work was excellent. All of our questions were answered and work was done exactly as agreed upon. I highly recommend Freddy and Venice Interiors and will use again. read more

Freddy has reupholstered both our Dellarobbia Sofas and has made cushions for several other pieces of furniture as well as throw pillows. His work has always been first rate and he is very conscientious about delivering on time. On top of all this he is the sweetest guy in the world. His prices are very good for the quality of work he does and he's always been very helpful in suggesting the best way to approach the job. We're so happy we found such a great craftsman. We whole-heartedly recommend Venice Interiors. read more

Fabulous job, fabulous service and a fair price. They reupholstered a very odd-shaped armchair and two floor cushions and did an exquisite job. I can't fault the service at Venice Interiors. Fredy at Venice Interiors is great. He gets things done quickly and perfectly, and their pricing is very reasonable. A great find!

I had a small job--a couple of cushions for a day bed--and this shop is in my neighborhood. I realize now how lucky I am to have such a great resource so close. I spoke with Freddy--very polite, very professional--he told me how much material I would need, and where I could find it (right down the street). Excellent result! I will use them again For Sure!! read more

I recently brought in a Crate & Barrel couch slipcover to be replicated and I can't sing enough praises about the amazing job they did. The slipcover looks even better than the original. Not to mention, they did it for a very fair price. When I called Crate & Barrel the quote they gave me for replacing the slip cover would've cost more than the couch itself originally cost! Brass Tack had a wide variety of fabric and I picked one I am so happy with. I also had several pillowcases I bought in morocco that were all odd measurements and had small openings for a fill pillow to be inserted. They made me 10 custom pillow fills and stuffed the pillows which look awesome. Not to mention they did this QUICK, I needed it done in a week and they were able to finish before that deadline. They do pick up and delivery which is super convenient. Overall such a GREAT job. I am happy to have brought them my business and will continue to do so. read more

Don't let the storefront at 820 Lincoln fool you there are old world masters at work here breathing new life into favorite chairs and sofas. We reupholstered my wife's old sofa once followed by an unsuccessful slip cover experience then lived on the worn out designer fabric for a number of years before finding Caesar and Freddie at Venice Interiors. They picked up our old tired sofa and two weeks later brought us an entirely new sofa. Frame and springs tightened up, cushions literally better than when the sofa was brand new in 1980. Venice Interiors had thousands of fabrics to choose from and the quality of the workmanship is nothing short of spectacular in today's world of furniture in boxes. Great job guys! We'll be back. I always come here for personal or professional projects. The quality is great and the work is done quickly.

Freddy and his team were amazing! I needed to replace the foam in our couch cushions and they had a good selection of different foams in the store. I dropped the cushions off that morning and they were ready that same afternoon. When I brought them home I realized they were too big and didn't fit back in the couch. Freddy drove to my house within 30 minutes to re-measure, took them back to the shop, re-cut them, and dropped them back at my house within the hour. Awesome customer service and high quality work. I'll definitely be using them in the future. read more

GREAT work! These guys are real craftsmen. We have been taking pieces to them for years. They have done everything from sofas to the interior of my 1962 Airstream. They have brought some of our old mid-century pieces back to life. Most recently they did 2 Knoll chairs and a Danish sofa. They look as good as the day they were made. I'm glad these guys are still here. They are an asset to the community. I highly recommend them! read more

Venice Interiors reupholstered my office chair and they did an excellent job. The chair was brand new but I couldn't stand the scratchy fabric and I couldn't return the chair because I ordered it custom. They have a huge choice of fabrics and I love the fabric that Freddy helped me choose. Venice Interiors charged me a reasonable, good price. They estimated 2 weeks and finished 2 days early. Anne's review above made me nervous, but I am so glad I chose to ignore it. Ceasar and his team are so professional and personal, and delivered great work. He did an in-home consultation, was happy to pick and and deliver my couch free of charge, and matched my new upholsterly fabric flawlessly to the old. My 8 foot white couch looks gorgeous, all of the craftmanship and complex stitching on the original was honored and duplicated AND he came in under budget. I wish I had more projects to send his way! I had a very successful experience with Venice Interiors. We had our 7ft couch re-stuffed and reupholstered- not only does the couch look PERFECT but Fredy and his guys had it completed and delivered to us in just 3 days! Initially he told me 10 days, I asked if it could be done any sooner because we had company arriving and Fredy made it happen. Fredy is extremely professional and was very quick to get back to me and offer me a reasonable quote. Not only am I 100% satisfied with the outcome and service that was provided but we also had a couple of chairs that needed to be moved to a location down the street and Fredy and his guys gladly dropped it off for us on their way to the next job. I would definitely use Venice Interiors again and I highly recommend their services. read more

I really like supporting local businesses and was excited to work with Venice Interiors on my project, especially after reading the great reviews. I called twice last week and left messages - received no return call. Finally got somebody on the phone on the third call; he told me to send pictures and somebody would get back to me. Immediately did so and waited 2 days for a response. Nothing. Called again today and was told that somebody would call me back in a minute. Still no response. I'm a little confused - the project is just reupholstering a sofa, so not sure why I am chasing them for this. I am sure their work is great, based on what everyone says, but if I can't connect with them, that means nothing. Such a shame. read more

I have had a few items re-upholstered in the past that I was very happy with but my guy retired so I'd been asking around and reading reviews for months when a neighbor referred me to Venice Interiors. I stopped in and met with Freddy and decided to go with him. He is very knowledgeable and seemed like a nice, honest guy. I am so happy with the results. He recovered my 20 year old sofa in heavy white brushed denim and it looks amazing. His pricing is very fair and much lower than a few places I got quotes from. I would highly recommend Venice Interiors and wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere. You will be happy with your results! read more

My local Venice girlfriend referred me to Venice Interiors. From the moment we walked in Freddie was extremely professional, helpful and kind. We had a slipcover couch and chair re-done. I picked out fabric and when I got home realized it wasn't what my heart wanted...I am picky. He told me that he wants me to LOVE and be happy with this long awaited project, so come back in and let's make it what you want. Phew, he was so helpful and over the top nice. He picked the furniture up the morning he scheduled and brought it back, looking like a brand new couch and chair, the day he said he would. Freddie even added more feather stuffing to our worn cushions and it came back revived and wonderful like when we bought it new. I was so happy, and he said it made his day seeing the expression of joy on my face! I LOVE the work they do (and I am very picky) and I LOVE Freddie. He is an amazing man doing incredible work in the world!!!! read more

I needed to have 5 seat cushions for a sofa reupholstered. Venice Interiors did a fantastic job! Freddy came specially to our house to take measurements, as my measurement taking was not precise enough. Freddy refused to take any payment for this extra measurement job. I would return to Venice Interiors in the future for any upholstery job, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reupholstery work. read more
