I came to these guys in full car-parent disaster mode -- my seat had a massive rat hole (yes, rat hole), thanks to the little monsters who took over after the Palisades fires. I have kids who've turned my car into a snack graveyard, which attracted the rats, who decided to move in, poop everywhere, and start nesting in the foam of my Prius seats. I was disgusted, overwhelmed, and honestly didn't even realize how bad it was until the team at ATS pointed it out. But here's the amazing part: they didn't judge, they just rolled up their sleeves and got to work. They opened up the seat, cleaned out all the rat poop and nesting mess, sanitized everything, and patched up the damage beautifully. The upholstery repair is seamless -- you literally cannot tell there was ever a hole there. It looks perfect, like nothing ever happened. I even brought in my other car after realizing it had the same issue -- they handled that one just as perfectly. Both cars are now totally clean, sanitized, and rat-poop-free. These guys are total pros. Not only was the work top quality, but it was super reasonably priced, done quickly, and with real care. If you've got any kind of upholstery issue -- no matter how gross -- ATS Upholstery is the place to go. They're the real deal.

Highly recommend! ATS is a family-run business that treats the customer like family as well. I'm very happy with the work they did to repair some tears and discoloration on the driver's seat of my BMW. It's like a brand new seat. And all of the seat controls were properly reattached and are working perfectly. I made an appointment and was prepared to be without my car for a few days while the work was done. They had the car back to me the same day I dropped it off! This is not easy work. The ATS craftspeople had to match the red stitching on the seat and it looks like it came straight from the factory. Serious artists. If you are wondering about price, I find the results very much worth the fair and reasonable cost. One more thing. Their communication from estimate to pick-up was spot on. And the owner, Alberto, invited me to bring my car back anytime if there is anything not to my liking. One does not find business owners these days with this level of artistry, integrity and pride in their work. Alberto is the best.

Ive been coming to ATS for my motorcycle seats for a while now, absolutely love these guys! Nothing but positive things to say. Just recently had a seat cushion made and the work was excellent as usual, but I needed an adjustment made for my application. When I returned with a complaint, Albert stopped what he was doing and helped me right away! These folks are fairly priced and the most reputable shop around. They do it all. Treat em right, cuz they're probably gonna quote you lower than the competition and produce a better product.

ATS upholstery fixed the upholstery with OEM leather texture fabric (mbtex) within just 2 days. They did a great job and the entire process was fast and easy. I called them first to get an estimate and went in to drop off the car and came back a few days later to pick it up! I think this job was under $200. If you are a true Los Angeles resident, then you have a car and you love your car and you want your car to be in nice condition -- ATS Upholstery can take care of all of your car's needs with convertible tops, upholstery, carpets, really anything that has a textile material . . . .which is most of your car. The value is great and the advice is great and the car is great and everything is great! They'll even install parts that are adjacent the textiles, like weather stripping and all those minor details that really seal things up nice and sweet. So, unless you like driving around in a crappy moldy box, call ATS and drop your car off and get ready to fall in love with your car all over again. :-) read more

Everyone at ATS Upholstery is a model of customer service. Responsive on Yelp, open early on MLK day, got my repair done even faster than they quoted, all with a very reasonable price point. When I asked, they even gave me a recommendation for a shop to do body work. The work speaks for itself, just check out the before/after pictures. Carlos did a fantastic job. Excellent service. Very reasonably priced for a new headliner on my old Mazda. The guy who did mine went above and beyond in every way. I was able to pick up my car on the same day I dropped it off. Had convertible top on VW beetle replaced 1 to 2 years ago, top was let down maybe 3 to 4 times at the most, the cloth/canvas stretched away from the glass leaving a big gap at the top of glass, they stated the, without the original receipt they do not know who they bought the material from, when I picked up the car I did not notice they did not date the receipt, and they apparently have a bad record keeping system so they cannot pull up the record of who or what company they bought the material from so now I have to buy a whole new top, per my research the top should last 10 to 20 years depending on care, I am extremely anal and have a lot of pride when it comes to keeping everything I own top notch, this is not how you treat a customer especially a repeat customer. read more

George Did amazing work on our Tesla seat, seriously, you can't even tell anything was done. His price was very fair, compared to the $2,000.00 tesla wanted to replace the seat. Oh my gosh! Got referred here by Rony's Car Pros. So glad! I didn't even know work like this could be done! The fabric on my car seat cushion was tearing... and the foam was sagging through years of use. I swung by... they said they might have trouble matching the fabric. I said, "That's OK. I just need it functional. Can you use a patch or something, on the underside?". Their technician did better than that. He was somehow able to sew it closed, and match the existing seam. Plus they put in new foam for the entire bottom seat. Cost.... $250. Total win!!! Plus, everyone was so friendly! Love small businesses! Would happily refer them to anyone. read more

I'm so impressed! My 1998 Mercedes started to have the upholstery hanging down. The sun roof was breaking away and behind the back seat. I called them and they were immediate with sheduling service, and very congenial. It took less than a day and looks beautiful. I waited a few weeks to do my review as I wanted to make sure it all held together. It looks like a brand new car! It looks factory finished! I highly recommend them! They are very good at what they do, and reasonably priced as well! read more

I brought my car in to have the ceiling upholstery repaired. The glue and fabric had been deteriorating for a while and I couldn't see out my back window anymore. Dropped the car off in the morning and had it back by the end of the day. Quick and efficient service. When I got in the car, it was absolutely beautiful. It had never looked better. I was very impressed with their friendliness as well and highly recommend them!!! read more

REALLY HAPPY with the time and work put into the leather restoration of my old Volvo! Matching the ridiculous color of the Volvo seats was a feat in itself, and sincerely appreciated the care to get it right--the leather looks like new! Thank you to the amazing leather restorer (there aren't many out there), Carlos, and most of all Jennifer for the personalized care! Killer work. I wanted to get some custom suede work done and they did a great job quickly and for a good price. They covered my headliner in suede along with my shifter boot and center console. I received excellent and professional service from a more than patient Kristina, who answered the flood of my lengthy questions in detail. While the services rendered all came out great and I never had any issues with the products for the entirety of me owning the car, it took a rather negative experience with another installer on my current car to realize how knowledgeable and professional Kristina / Impero actually is. During my negative experience with another installer, I received more support, more useful and accurate information from Impero than from the place I was having issues with at the time. In retrospect, I would've been better off had I just gone to Impero again right away with my new car, but I wanted a specific brand of tint that Impero isn't offering (for good reason, as I now know) so I went with a different installer (who even charged more). I can't recommend Impero highly enough to anyone looking to get their windows tinted, or their car wrapped, Kristina really seems to always keep up with the latest products and knows what's currently best on the market.

Sadly it didn't turn out this way, as I randomly got a text message on February 27, 2023 from his wife suddenly banning me from returning since apparently they had marital problems and decided to involve me in their personal lives. I was absolutely blindsided and quite frankly disappointed at how Alonso and the "co-owner" went about their issues. I wanted to let this go however since his team replaced my car's dash screen, CarPlay system, tinted my windows, the sound system has been absolute trash for taking calls. Callers say they either can't hear me or hear an intolerable echo that makes it hard to listen to what I'm saying. I have not been able to have clear calls ever since the work they did. So l was left with an unusable phone audio system in my Mercedes that required an added expense since I clearly am "not welcome" to fix the crap they did to my car in the first place.

They buffed out the scratches and repainted, and they also re-aligned the bumper with the side panel. In total, it cost $575. Everything looked great - they even washed my car!! I drove home and upon further inspection, the paint looked like it had dribbled, so I called the shop back. They told me to come back and they quickly fixed it and now the car looks as good as new! Everyone who worked there was very nice and I'm happy with the results.

I wanted the old carpet and the old padding completely taken out and new carpet and padding put in. I made that very clear from beginning what I wanted and what kind of carpet I wanted. He quoted me an amount of 300-400 and I clarified again what I wanted and he said it would be done. When I came back to pick up my car he said, he took out the old carpet and the old padding and replaced it. HE LIED COMPLETELY TO MY FACE AND THOUGHT I DIDNT KNOW THE OLD CARPET WAS UNDERNEATH. He never removed the old carpet or the old padding and did the worst job ever. He didn't clean up the edges and he used the carpet I told him I didn't want. This guy just thought he could made an extra amount for a half-assed job. And he admitted to his poor job and said he would refund me the money . I came the next day to get my money refunded and his dad said they wouldn't refund me the money because it was still a job done. But the job was horrible as you can see from the pictures. I have to get the whole thing redone because this isn't the kind of carpet I asked for nor anywhere close to being done . THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF ON PURPOSE. AND THEY WILL DO A HORRIBLE JOB. No photos because it was a small, simple job. But it was done perfectly: replacing the very center portion of both front seats in my 2017 Hyundai Ionic. Albert made the seats look like new - actually better through adding tasteful sewn details. Everything was delivered fast and carefully with Zero hassles in what was obviously and refreshingly a family business - the honesty and friendliness can't be beat. This place will rip you off intentionally. They did a half assed job and they knew it and tried to tell me otherwise. I wanted the old carpet removed and the old padding removed and I wanted it replaced with plush cream colored carpet. I made all of this very clear and he quoted me. I came back to an unfinished job with ugly carpet I said I didn't want and he lied to me and told me he took out the old carpet. Which as you can see from the pictures he clearly didn't. No bull! This place is practical! Get in get what you need done and get out. They fixed my leather on my drivers seat and as I was waiting a tiny guy came in and I asked if when he was done with his first job if he could tint my ride. He agreed on the cheap! These guys are very friendly and work with you. I had leather damage to the seats in my Audi TT. They replaced it but because of the fading from the sun on the rest of the seat it didn't match. They said no problem and dyed it to match without complaining about it. Very customer oriented. read more
