My catalytic converter was stolen earlier this week and I asked the shop that replaced it if they knew anyone who could put a guard on it. They sent me to 3C and whoever I spoke to on the phone told me, "guards don't work, we put a cage on it." Sounds good to me! I called the guys as soon as I picked my car up and told them I could get there by 5:20. They close at 6 so I was so grateful they allowed me to come in. The process was quick and we were out of there by the time they closed. Shortly after leaving, I realized I had left my sunglasses at the shop. I called at 6:12pm and THANKFULLY one of the guys picked up. He confirmed that my sunglasses were there and said he'd wait for me to drive back (which was SO sweet because I live across town and did not want to drive all the way back the next day). After sitting in traffic for 20 mins, I felt bad having him wait and called back to see if he could just leave them in a discrete spot outside. I'm not sure who I spoke to but he was happy to do so, and left them in a very discrete spot outside the shop, wrapped in a towel. To me, that's above and beyond customer service because the guys didn't have to answer the phone after hours, and they certainly didn't have to wait, but they made sure I got my sunglasses back. Last but not least, I took my car into my Toyota dealership for an oil change today and I asked them to check the catalytic converter + cage to make sure everything looked good and they said everything looked great. My only complaint is that I wish I had known about this shop BEFORE my converter was stolen. The price is incredibly reasonable and the guys are great 10/10. read more

After our Prius had its catalytic converters stolen, Louis & his team replaced them quickly, efficiently and for a very good price. They included the fabrication and welding in place of stainless steel rods as a kind of cage to prevent them from being stolen again. (YouTube videos say that theft, then re-theft of converters, especially in Prius' is common! In fact, I counted 10 Prius' at 3C being worked on each time I was there!) They also helped me communicate the claim to my insurance company. Later, to prevent the 3 separate catalytic converters on my Tahoe from being stolen, I had them install a cage over each of them. The price was well below the cost of my insurance deductible, so it made sense financially, as well as preventing the hassle of having to make another insurance claim and organize replacement, etc. after a theft. I strongly recommend having them install the converter cages over your catalytic converters to stop thieves. I highly recommend them for any sort of exhaust repair. They have expert welders and can handle any kind of vehicle or exhaust system. And they are really good people! read more

They will rip you off. I had an attempt on my cat converter that sounded like it was stolen. I brought to them to replace. I waited an hour to even be seen after making an appointment. They put it on lift to inspect and found out that the thieves who attempted to take it only loosened the bolts enough to make it seem like cat was gone. It took 5min to put on lift, inspect and to tighten the bolts back. He charged me 90.00 because I wouldn't have him put on a 300.00 cage. Instead of making a long time customer and saying have a nice day. I have many cars could have done some custom works. Instead Im here trying to save someone else the headeaches and rippoffs from this poor business to the community. read more

This place is THEE SH!T ! Awesome service and customization of your system that you CANNOT get out of a box. I've had my truck worked on twice now by 3C Mufflers and I won't go anywhere else. I have to drive 40 miles to get to this shop. But they are SERIOUSLY worth it! I normally give a cash tip to the crew that works on my ride when I'm having work done. Their work is so good that the 2 bays with ramp style lifts ALWAYS have vehicles on them. As well as the apron area outside of the service bays having vehicles waiting AND vehicles lined up in the very small and narrow access road that runs in front of the shop and around the side to the east. Then south to La Cienega. Thanks to this access road. It actually helps you exit the shop due to the heavy traffic that is stopped at the intersection and red lights at Washington/La Cienega Blvds. I have known Luis and the team for over 10 years now, and can highly recommend 3c performance exhaust for all your exhaust work. They are a highly skilled welder and provide one of if not the best services to the LA community and more. I had a unique situation where my 20 year old car had the muffler rusting out, and I wanted to refresh the look and sound. The team installed a quality exhaust for me while remaining under 93db's. Unfortunately, my rear sway bar kept hitting the exhaust so Luis was able to show me what he could do to customize the direct bolt on exhaust to make it fit without it hitting anything. He made my exhaust that fit ok, to something that fits perfectly with no rattling. I appreciate Luis and the team here, it's always a pleasure coming here to see the folks. I had a huge hassle with a locknut which was broken off/the key broke. After several attempts to find a garage to fix it, Mario at 3C got the job done. It took him one hour to weld a piece on 4 locknuts and remove them!! My rims did not get damaged, they even cleaned them afterwards, it was quick and inexpensive.
