Amazing service and professionalism. I run an optometry clinic and business in Torrance. Our exam chair's seat portion started showing signs of aging, wear n tear, and cracking on the synthetic leather (vinyl). It was both troubling and embarrassing to me as I was still seeing patients and business has to continue. So I need this repair quick! I brought the portion of the seat to have it reupholstered to Parker. Everyone was extremely professional, gave me a fair quote, and finished the job within a day!!! Wow! Now it's like having a whole new exam chair without having the trouble in buying and installing a new heavy medical exam chair when everything is already working fine. Thank you. I would totally recommend Parker to anyone! I'm even attaching before and after photos. read more

Really nice owner and son. Took my cushion to get a comfortable foam. Mine was so hard that your rear end would get numb!! My new cushion was like sitting on a cloud. Love it. The only issue is a bit too expensive. $245.00 per cushion. Way too expensive to replace the remainder 4 cushions. If you can afford it, I do Recommend 3 stars only because too expensive. read more

I just had Parker Upholstery re-stuff the cushions on my 15 year old leather couch and loveseat (5 cushions in total). The leather is still in good shape, but the cushions had really flattened out. They did an awesome job and now the cushions are nice and firm. (And the turnaround time was only 3 days!) read more

We love this shop! The actual shop size is small but the expertise and knowledge is endless, as well as fabric selections. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, actually gifted, and understanding the challenges involved with finalizing a final selection of material. Let me start from the beginning! I bought a sofa bed from Pottery Barn years ago. The back cushions have been sagging, no matter how many times I fluffed them up daily. The Pottery Barn Consultant said they don't make my model anymore, but just fluff up the cushions. I looked up which company made the cushion inserts and they received a low 3 stars on Yelp. I was shocked that Pottery Barn would use such a low end company for their cushion inserts. Then, I started looking on Yelp for upholstery companies but they were at least over an hour away from where I live. I finally found one, Parker Upholstery less than 15-20 minutes away from me. What an amazing find! They were so helpful and informative. I took my back cushions there immediately and showed them the sagginess of them. Right away, the manager told me that they will be able to fix my cushions. Not only were the cushions' inserts done beautifully, but quicker than they were promised to be completed. They look brand new and guess what? They don't sag one bit!!! I'm so happy with their professionalism, work quality, timeliness, and going way and beyond to remedy the situation. The manager said if I needed less filling or more filling that they would do it. But, it was perfect! It's like I have a new sofa bed. Plus, they were more reasonable than the companies who were far away from me. I strongly recommend Parker's Upholstery!!! I will be sharing my experience with my family and friends! read more

I am over the moon in the fantastic job Parker upholstery has done on my dining room chairs. Ben and Bobby are wonderful to work with, their showroom/work room is clean and their selection of fabrics is wide. Ben helped me choose a fabric in five minutes. The quote was reasonable and they estimated 3 to 4 weeks. I was able to get my chairs done in two weeks. They came out beautiful. I highly recommend Parker Upholstery. They rescued some dining chairs that I had nearly given up on. The chairs look great, and the Parker crew were a pleasure to work with. Thankfully the chairs look better than ever, which means I get to minimize waste and not send them to a landfill. Have been telling all my friends about Parker Upholstery. read more

My dining chair cushions had sunken. Bobby suggested some fabrics and reassured me when I selected one. The wait for the fabric to come in was minimal and it was easy to schedule the installation. My chairs are firm and great. I was so happy with my dining chairs and asked if Bobby would be able to reupholster my kitchen seat cushions. The wooden undersides were falling apart. I chose a striped fabric, Parker Upholstery replaced the wood, and I couldn't be happier with my chairs. read more

Great service and care taken of our chairs. The quality is top notch and they look and feel amazing. Thank you!

I sent photos and a request for contact and no one ever reached out. I am disappointed as they have such good reviews. I recently went to Parker Upholstery in hopes of having a headboard reupholstered. I am so glad to have found them. Bobby and his team are the absolute best. I picked out the material with their guidance, and they did the rest. They made the process so easy. From picking up my headboard, to keeping me updated on the process, to delivering the finished product. All in a very timely manner. And it looks incredible. They are not only highly skilled, but complete professionals as well. I can't recommend Parker Upholstery enough. Thank you Bobby and your entire team! read more

We were fairly certain our recliner couch needed repair, but we weren't sure if it could be done. We contacted Bobby at Parker Upholstery, sent him some pictures, and he said he could do the repairs. He gave us a preliminary quote, scheduled a pickup, and we were ready. His pickup/delivery crew are through professionals. The estimate was two weeks to complete the repair, Parker completed the job in less than a week. We were correct, the couch needed repair, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. We highly recommend Parker Upholstery for any furniture repairs you might need. We thought the price was reasonable, especially considering the cost to purchase a new couch. read more

Once again Bobby and his talented team have done an amazing job! 15 days before moving away from California, we decided it would be great to recover our couch. Bobby and team were up for the challenge! In 7 days, our couch is back and it's gorgeous! I made the mistake and used a different South Bay company to reupholster some chairs last year, because my designer swore by them and they did a horrible job. The Parker Upholstery workmanship and attention to detail is so excellent, even on short notice, I don't know why you would go anywhere else. On top of all the beautiful work, Bobby called us and asked us to come look at the couch, and then he wrapped it all up so it would arrive at our new house in perfect shape. That is customer service! Thank you Bobby! I would give you 10 stars if I could!! read more

Parker Upholstery - Furniture Reupholstery Near Me - Torrance, California

I had a nearly 50-year-old reclining chair. It was beaten, badly wrinkled, and showing the worst kind of wear and tear. My husband repeatedly said, "Get rid of it." I have always found comfort and relaxation in using it. It was also our memory of marriage life; I couldn't let it go. He passed away a few years ago. It reminded me of our happy life and made me sad. One day, I found Parker Upholstery in Torrance. They have an excellent online review, so I emailed photos and consulted with Bobby over the phone. I visited his shop and chose one beautiful, off-white soft fabric from the millions of samples he showed me. The estimated cost was higher than I expected, but I liked his honesty, sincerity, confidence, and compassion. He came home to pick it up, and I said goodbye to our memory chair for a makeover. Bobby called me over a week later and said, ready to deliver back, "It's all done beautifully." So I went to his shop and paid half of the price. And here there was, "Oh My God!" I saw a brand new, entirely redone chair. It was incredibly gorgeous and magnificent, which made me speechless. All the professional handicraftsman workers at the shop even polished rusty chrome, like brand new. Speaking of attention in details. "Oh My God!". I asked them, "Have you purchased a brand new one from somewhere else?" They laughed. They delivered it back home, and Bobby helped me bring it upstairs. He did not ask me to write an honest review about their job on Yalp, but I had to share it with anyone looking for or needing upholstery. I highly recommend them. Please see the before and after photos. The seats are so comfortable I slept for a while. My late husband introduced and guided me about Parker Upholstery from heaven, saying, "You want to keep it so bad, then fix it perfectly." I would not live for the next 50 years to enjoy sitting in this chair, but I am so happy I invested our money in Parker Upholstery. I am grateful to all the handicraftsman workers and Bobby from the bottom of my late husband's and my heart. Kathryn read more

LOVE! This great little shop helped me spruce up a pair of beach style captain chairs I acquired from friends. I was under a time crunch due to an even I wanted to host at our place this past July. (Originally I wanted to find Sunbrealla Fabric in LA but did not have the time). The shop helped me with picking the fabric and also rushed the order for me (2.5 weeks) time. The end result turned out wonderful! (I am still in the process of finishing the wood...so no judgments :) But I look forward to my next project with them! After recently moving and retrieving some old furniture (that was my grandmothers) and deciding that it needed to be reupholstered, I started looking through reviews on Yelp. Seeming that Parker Upholstery would be a good start, we decided to go by their location and look at samples. Upon scheduling a time and not knowing exactly what we wanted, Bobby guided us through options and made the selection seem so easy. Long story short, to say were were impressed with the thoughtfulness, professionalism of everyone and the impeccable work that was put into my furniture would be an understatement. I requested a quote on 2 chairs to be reupholstered and Bobby responded quickly. He took the time to listen and educate me on the process and overall cost. This is our second incredible experience w/ Parker Upholstery over the last two years. My wife and I really wanted a leather couch and once again after spending almost a year shopping for one that we wanted to love, we just couldn't agree on anything. We decided we would reach out to Parker Upholstery to have our linen sofa re-upholstered, but also we wanted to change the framing based to something we had envisioned. With out hesitation, Nile immediately started pulling out samples for us. I could tell he understood our vision because he pulled out samples that were perfect. Bobby (the owner) then began to discuss design with us... and thats when we knew, we were finally going to get the sofa of our dreams. After figuring out all of the details and deciding on the right leather, Bobby gave us a heads up that we were looking at a 10-12 week delivery. at first, It seemed long but to be honest, with getting exactly what we wanted, what was another 2 months? We decided yes and moved forward with the sofa. fast forward 9 weeks, the SOFA IS READY! Earlier than we anticipated. It was just delivered and pictures just don't do this sofa justice. IT IS PERFECT! Parker Upholstery saw our vision and they made it into reality. We are absolutely thankful to Bobby, Nile and Parker Upholstery for making it happen! read more

Bobby is friendly, very professional and a highly skilled craftsman. He offered an in-home service to repair a sofa that was too large for me to bring to his shop. My Dad gifted me 2 beautiful chairs that he had made years ago. They had seen better days and fabric was outdated. After my Dad passed last year, I really wanted to refinish the chairs more than ever but I was also hesitant because I did not want to take it some place that could potentially harm the chair. These chairs have a high sentimental value for me so it was very important that they came out perfect. Bobby and team delivered. There is not enough words to describe how pleased I am with the final outcome. The attention to detail is amazing. I almost cried when I saw them for the first time.
