I went for an oil change and tire rotation using a GroupOn I bought ahead of time. Price was…read morepretty good with Groupon for a full synthetic oil change and air filter. I had a 1 pm appointment but when I got there they told me the oil change and tire rotation and multiple point inspection would take 1 hr and they were running 20 min late. I expected to get out there at 2:20 pm but when everything was said and done it was 2:45 pm. You can choose to drop off your car or wait. Also they test drive your car before and afterwards. By test drive they basically drive it around the parking lot of the shopping center. I found it weird that they do that for an oil change and tire rotation. I've been to other places where they are faster and don't need to test drive your car. I suspect there may have issues in the past where people complained about a problem with their car and they was no way of knowing if it was an existing problem or a new problem. The salesperson was upfront and honest with me and gave me a bunch of recommendations for my car because it's approaching 100k miles. The cost of doing all the recommended things basically cost $5400 but nothing was an existing issue. That declined all the recommended repairs for me and didn't try to upsell anything. I did have to sign that I was declining all recommendations. I honestly think if it ain't broke don't fix it. Some of the items were maintenance items like brake fluid flush, cabin and air filter changes, etc. They do charge a $5 oil disposal fee on top of the oil change which is no biggie but just know that it isn't included in the oil change price. My only complaint was that from appointment start to finish I spent 1.75 hours instead of the 1 hr I was expecting. They got so backlogged that a walk-in customer needing an oil change couldn't get one and the place still had 3 hrs to go before closing. I would recommend to an appointment by booking online and if a walk-in, go in the morning.
