We got a Brizo kitchen faucet and needed the matching soap dispenser. I did my research and decided to purchase the soap dispenser from QualityBath due to 1) they have one of the best prices, and 2) have one of the best reviews regarding customer service. After i ordered my item via the website, I sent an email inquiring when will I receive the item. Rikki, from QualityBath, responded within a day and gave me a date range. My item came precisely in the middle of those dates, which I was thrilled. The soap dispenser arrived in the Brizo package, but internally, the wrapping around the dispenser looked disheveled. There was no instruction, but I didn't need it. The item looks new with all the necessary parts. I was able to install the soap dispenser with no issue. As a repeat customer, I've come to expect better from Quality Bath. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very disappointing. I attempted to cancel my order before it shipped, but was told it wasn't possible -- which is hard to understand given that it hadn't even left the warehouse. To make matters worse, I was charged shipping on an order under $99 (a policy that feels outdated compared to most modern retailers), and when I returned the item -- without even opening the shipping box -- I had to pay for return shipping as well. This level of customer service simply doesn't hold up in today's competitive market. Companies like Wayfair offer much more flexibility and customer-focused policies. It also needs to be mentioned that they are an authorized dealers for all their brands so you aren't stuck holding the bag down if there are warranty issues. I have been working with Dov since 2015 on both personal and professional projects. I'm the type of person that will scour the internet with SKU# and spreadsheets of pricing with all the competitors. Trust me when I say Dov offers the best prices and the most impeccable service. He is not pushy but will follow-up if there are any questions or concerns about an order. I am getting very nervous. I purchased a sink in August, it gave me a December 20-31 delivery. I have been waiting months and now they just extended it! I ordered a Hans Grohe hand shower holder and outlet. We have other Hans Grohe products and are happy with them but when the $87 part arrived we discovered it was all plastic including that water fittings. I should have read the description in more detail and not assumed the price meant metal. I entered the return process and QB wanted a 20% restock fee (stating that they cover part of the HG 25% restock fee) plus shipping but there are ominuous words that the product has to be in brand new condition with no opened packages to be eligible for refund. Or, QB offers a no hassle 50% refund and we can keep the part. I agree with others on Yelp and Reddit that you really need to be sure of what you are buying from QB because of these charges. We are building an ADU so I don't have time to do such detailed online research before purchasing. For an online business, it seem QB needs to have a more online friendly return policy. For example a very prolific online company that also has local show rooms is only charging me $7 shipping and handling for returning a Kohler component I decided that I don't want. read more
