I took my Toyota in about a month ago or so and couldn't be happier with how my car has been running. The price seemed a bit high...I wasn't expecting it, but it was a much needed investment and my Yoda couldn't be happier. Car has been performing for once...it was so lag and rough before. I got my clutch and breaks repaired...my car is much more solid. I'm also sure he checked other things and may have tightened some other things up along the way. My elderly father thinks EZ is as honest of a mechanic that there is. That is saying quite a bit, given the fact that he is in general extremely suspicious of most businesses. In fact, I just about swallowed my proverbial gum when he mentioned that he thought Quality Auto Service was honest. He took his Camry into the shop when it didn't start and EZ solved a problem that other auto shops (I'm looking at you Sears) could not and in the end, charged a very reasonable amount for his time. Amazing! I was told by a competitor that I needed new rear brake pads, rotors and calipers. The competitors quote...$430. YIKES! My boyfriend suggested I talk to Ez and he agreed I needed brake pads, but everything else looked just fine. Needless to say, I didn't pay $430. They got my car in within 4 days after my initial call and fixed my car at the price we agreed upon over the phone. There was a miscomunication about when the car would be fixed as I needed it the same day Friday that I dropped it off but they thought they could keep it until Monday. Either way, they got the part and got it fixed by the end of the day Friday and I was able to pick it up before they closed. I drove the car 1000 miles with no issues. I have been to a number of private mechanics and chain businesses in the Denver area but I will be taking my vehicles to Quality Auto for any future needs! read more

I've had two stellar experiences here. I originally brought my minivan in for a check engine light. I knew that an O2 sensor needed replacing, and Ez got that done for me at very little cost. And now we've brought our car in for shocks and struts, with Ez coming in way lower than 5 other area shops as well as letting me know my tie rods did NOT need replacing as two others said. He does something most mechanics don't, he tells the truth and doesn't charge you through the roof for quality work. No more shopping around for us! read more

I took my car 2000 Calvalier here and he gave me a free estimate on my clutch. He said it would be $500. After he fixed it he charged me over $1100. I just recently also took the same car in for what he said would be a free estimate because my car was over heating. I went in to pick it up and he charged me $60 after saying it would be free. I will never take any of my vehicles here again!!! read more

Absolutely, the only person to take your car to. Last I took my car for breaks he said that it will most likely need new rotors, then he got to work on it and was able to save the old rotors. $200 in savings. Just and update on my review. The incident I referred to in my original review happened 10 years ago when there were not websites available to review businesses. I now have the opportunity to review this business so I chose to do so long after it happened. This does not take away or change the fact that id did happen. When someone does me wrong I do not just forget about it because it happened years ago. The owner of this business does or did work on older vehicles at the time I took in my car. He had an employee who came in and did the work on older cars.This incident did happen exactly like I described but the owner of the business did go back in his records far enough to find my work invoice. I only write truthful and honest reviews. Ez had ME go buy a new window and then charged me 1/2 of the normal cost for the labor to put in the window. I should not have had to pay anything, it was clearly his responsibility. He either didn't have cameras in the lot at that time or chose not to look at them. read more

My son lives in Boulder was buying a used vehicle in Arvada. I flew in from out of town to help him with the process. We needed a mechanic to inspect the truck prior to purchase but had no clue so "googled" it. Ez's shop was listed #1 in the the top 10 mechanics in Arvada. I called to inquire about his availability and if he provided this service. He wasn't able to get us in until the next day. He spent almost an hour on the inspection and kept coming back into the waiting area to tell my son what he had found. He coached him through the entire negotiating process, suggesting what to offer the seller, etc. All of this for only $25! After purchasing the car, my son took it back to Ez, to have the A/C repaired. He initially told my son that it would be a $500 repair job and then when the part arrived from Toyota, it was the wrong part. He called him back to give him the bad news that it would be closer to $2000. When we went back to pick up the truck, Ez took my son out to the truck, opened the hood and showed him where the part was that didn't work and explained what the part looked like. When they went back to the shop to get his key, Ez refused to charge him a dime. This guy is the real deal and taught my son a valuable lesson in honesty and integrity. What a blessing to have found him. He won us over! Even though Arvada isn't the easiest spot to get to, it would be worth it to frequent this business. read more
