Great experience with Quality Auto Service. Trusted the previous great reviews and they did not disappoint. Brought in my daughters 2008 Subaru Legacy with an oil leak. They assessed the issue and the rest of the vehicle and called me with the details. Loved the honest "hey you can do this now, wait on this and check back with me in 6 mos... would be this at that time. Went to this shop for an oil change and engine smell diagnostic. When I went to pick my car up, I didn't get any feedback on what may be causing the smell. I was just told that they didn't smell anything. Also, they put the wrong oil in my car (synthetic blend when I asked for full synthetic). I would not recommend this shop to anyone, as they don't seem to pay attention to their customers. read more

The lights on my dashboard were flashing and I seemed to be having some electrical issues with my CR-V. I took it to another local auto shop where they diagnosed the problem and said it would be about $430. I wanted to get another opinion and ended up taking it to Quality Auto Service... and I'm glad I did. Ez was really helpful and said my CR-V didn't need all the work that the other auto place suggested and that he could fix it for much less. If you are looking for a mechanic, and you live in arvada, or even as far as denver, this is the shop, and the guy, totally worth the drive. Ez, the owner, is helpful, informative, and very honest! There is such a thing as an honest mechanic, and this guy is great at his job. Not only did he teach me how to check my oil at no cost, he didn't charge me for diagnostics when I brought my car in, which is really nice and not required of him to do. This guy understands how to run a business and retain customers, and the value of an honest mechanic, and repair issues, prices, and quality have been spot on. I once was told by another mechanic that my brakes were very close and needed to be changed. I brought my car in to Ez and he told me when he changed them that they weren't as close as I was told. I can't say enough positive things, the guy is just great at his job. Also, there's free pepsi in the lobby while you wait. read more

You never know about mechanics but this shop is great and Ez is amazing. You can't find integrity like this at any other shop! I have many great experience stories from taking my car to Quality Auto but I wanted to share something that happened today. I had my Rav 4 towed QA because an oil hose burst. Ez called for the part and found out that it was under a recall notice so instead of replacing the hose and charging me for the repair, he advised that I take it to the dealer which I did. After the repair, the engine developed a ticking noise. Again, off to Ez it went. He listened to the tick and again recommended a trip to the dealer in case it was related to the oil leak. The deal said it was a water pump so I called Ez to see how much he would charge to replace it because I have I a lot of trust for QA. He told me he could replace the water pump and it would be less than the dealer...but what if the ticking was still there after replacing it, then I would have no recourse with the dealer. So I probably will have the dealer do the work. The point is, Ez spent 10 minutes on the phone with me, brainstorming the solution and in the end recommended having the dealer do the work. He gave the business to the dealer when he could have just kept his mouth shut and done the work himself. Bottom line...if your car has problems...go to Quality Auto. Great prices, great service and amazing integrity! read more

Ez called me back when he said he would, explained the issue thoroughly and went above and beyond in every manner. My mom had not tightened the gas cap enough. After a road trip from California to Colorado, the check engine light came on. Not knowing why the light was on, I called to see if they had any time that day to check out my car. Turns out they were closed, but the owner told me to bring it down anyway and he would have a look. He checked it out, realized it was the gas cap, turned the light off and sent us on our way without charging anything. Sure, I have been to Firestone before where they didn't charge me for anything. But the owner allowed us to come by on his day off. While we were waiting for him in the waiting room, I noticed he had "thank you" cards lining the walls. Clearing he is a loved mechanic and I will definitely be taking my car here whenever it truly does need some work. read more

Ez is an amazingly thoughtful human. He did some work on my older van as I was traveling through CO; the radiator he put in ended up having the tiniest hole in it (not his fault, but the radiator company's)-- he called them, worked out the warranty information for me to get a new one, and arranged with the mechanic in the town in Wyoming I was in for them to replace it. A few weeks later he called to check in just to make sure that everything was well with me and the van. I would highly recommend this business. Thanks, Ez! We recently moved to the area and had some issues with our Chevy Malibu. Not knowing where to take it to have it fixed I quickly checked yelp and found this wonderful service! After terrible experiences with other shops in the area price gouging and telling me I needed to replace things that need not be replaced, I found this shop and have been taking our vehicles here exclusively since as well as referring everyone we can.
